No Idea on fish buffet.
But about their raking system, they changed it to contributed methode awhile ago.
That I can assure you. I got a confirmation from their Live support.
Mohsen, have you tried to get tech to tunnel into your PC?

No need
It is not a problem that could be fixed from their side.
I am in a location that can only use 1 ISP. This ISP has issues with Taiwan uplinks and they can't fix it.
I have a response time of +3000 from GGs servers(again, my internet problem)
So nothing could be done about it at the moment until I move.

Your 50% rakeback or whatever is in reality 25% (in many ways simmilar to ipoker where your 80% rakeback is more like 35-40% if you are winning). While at the same time paying insane amounts of rake (even preflop pots are raked BTW).

So you play in a game with almost uncapped rake with 25% rakeback.
It is a well known system, that even CoinPoker or what that new poker site is called uses, making it more rec friendly; what's the point of rewarding winners more than losers? And don't the winners benefit of that also? I prefer a lower rake for people raking more, but that's just me, as it seems more fair to me, but the relatively new movement of rec friendly sites have an another opinion.

That same site (CP) also compares its rake to Asian rakes, that's weird (their wallet might be in Estonia or something like that but I am not at all sure about that), but they seem to have the Asian population also in mind.

Asian rakes are generally mega-high, likely as they have such high standards of living. It just is how things are, nothing abnormal in that. Or you can skip places like Goa (poker) and play in Bangalore, if you get in, as they have a lower rake, or fish out some other Asian place for more reasonable rakes.

There is also the rest of the world rakes; Macau is superhigh rake, western europe is higher than USA rakes generally, and eastern europe might have some more reasonable rakes at some limits and about uncapped but more moderately raked games in other limits, and there is maybe some model of that at GG (for PLO perhaps, or at least should be).

Getting any rakeback is a donations from their part if they don't need to or whatever.

As a side note, if someone is worried of it not being fair gaming, you can always observe the games a couple of times at least, and although I don't think the games anywhere are all fair, I have yet to see a site where one can't win at all, although I didn't stay long at Hive in spite of first running fine, so my trust in some less trusted sites is lower, but overall the industry generally doesn't prevents anyone from winning if you can beat your competition and the rake. It would not be and imo isn't considered to be smart busniess, if they would prevent it completely.

The rake might be the issue on this, it not being the first time when some medium limit player can't beat a higher rake and weaker players.

One needs to receive 28.29 cookies on average to get a 10 BI prize; in other words, that happens once in 56.58 games on average.

That said, the blind structure in $5 and esp. $1 ones is rather hyper and games don't gather instantly, mildly speaking, so they aren't exactly a gold mine in comparison with other networks' offers. Beatable, but not a gold mine.

There's no room for SnGs on the network yet because even the Fortune Spin traffic is scarce ($5-15 ones don't run at all outside Chinese evening peak hours).

Besides, FS is closer to MTSnGs than to other networks' spins in terms of variance because the top payout in FS is lol 10 BIs.
I get 5%, but you could look at it from a different point of view....

For every $1 we put in, $0.1767 of equity gets side-tracked into the fortune cookie game, 0.05 goes as rake and 0.7733 goes as prizes for the poker game. You have to defeat the rake in the poker section, so it makes sense to count rake relative to the poker prizes only and take the fortune cookie as neutral EV. This gets us - for every 0.8233 of non-cookie money we pay five cents of rake, or 6.0644%

The Exclusive $100K Rake Race GGNetwork . Fake or Real?

Hi,
1. The Rake Race on GGNetwork has started yesterday (1 December) and will end on 31 December.
I just saw the leaderboard and I think that they have some suspicious top players.

https://imgur.com/0J7WtGW

In my opinion the generated rake is too much considering that are only 4-6 tables on each stake NL100 ,NL200, NL400.

2. In other case the Fish Buffet is another subject very interesting because I had exactly 8 spins from 10 with the minimum 10% rakeback and only 2 was 30%.

I want to ask your opinion about this subjects .

Thank you and happy grinding.

If that rate is sustained there are a lot of bots in that leaderboard.

Anyone else having trouble with the software maxing out their cpu and memory? I'm on a Windows 10 system with a dated cpu and 8gigs of ram but I can run most other sites just fine. I cant even get 2 tables to run on PPI Poker.

and i play on Bestpoker skin, they change the rake back system without any notice(no email) so,suddenly no more flat 35% rb deal..just some VIPsystem bull**** by point, determine your rake back..

the funny thing is,you cant track your rakeback(the rb pay is late)..and this december they hold 100k rake race, without any sort of how we can track the progress or where we're at..

i guess hoping to get some rb in online poker is over now,i might as well back play on pokerstars

The rakeback system from the network has always been a pvi based system. Anyone offering "flat rakeback" is lying. The network reports less of an amount raked for winning players to the agents and rakeback is paid on that amount.

It's in their terms and conditions.

The first 2 months the perhaps you weren't yet classed as a winning player having had your rakeback cut? The network reports wrong numbers for winning players and they get their rakeback on that. That's sadly how it is. Also, You should be getting 50% (of the adjusted number) at least. Goodluck!

So can you tell me if I am better off going through an affiliate vs the site's fish themed reward system?

I would like to hear your opinions of Fishbowl rake structure that started one month ago.
What is average % of rakeback you receive from spinning?

Is all-in insurance genuinely fee-free? I'd like to use it sometimes if it really does offer the same EV with reduced variance. I keep meaning to look into it but never get around to it.
