Fulltilt froze my account with 47 grand in it Fulltilt froze my account with 47 grand in it

I mostly agree with druff's post about sillysal.
Although I don't think it's THAT big a deal that she didn't point out beatme1. Everyone here has asked her a ton of Q's and if she stopped to answer every single one of them it would take forever.
So I give her a slight pass on that.

But this whole business of 'what the hell is she hiding that's even a little bit bad?' is definitely annoying and suspicious.
If she wants 2+2's help then just lay it all on the line. Don't just hide random crap just because you think it will be viewed the wrong way.
Hiding it in the first place makes it look WAY worse than it could possibly be.
If she has some program that auto-caps for her when she has a certain hand...or whatever...then just admit it.

I also disagree with giving FT a complete pass on this one.
I'm inclined to give them a partial-pass since they acknowledge some of their mistakes on how they have handled this and say they are going to improve.
But FT definitely could have handled this better than they did so just saying that it's okay to freeze the funds that long with minimal meaningful communication is not appropriate here.
In other words, if sillysal had been using her bots or whatever she was doing that looked suspicious over on Stars then I suspect this whole mess might have been mostly avoided.

I know I trumpet Stars' usually superior cust-serv around here a lot. But I think we all know it's correct. They mostly set the standard that the other sites should be striving to equal.
FT fell way short of that mark imo on this one.

The fact that FT may have truly caught a bot and not had a false-positive does not absolve them of anything else they may have done wrong along the way.

Did you say of course? why? Things are normally legal unless they are illegal. So just point me in the direction where it says that it is illegal. Thank you.

In regards to the silly assertion that internet gambling is illegal in the USA, which I thought everyone knew it was perfectly legal...the above video, go to 5:50 of it and see the congressman ask the attorney for the US State dept of Justice.

When asked by the congressman "There is no prohibition against gambling on the internet?" the attorney replies "yes, that is true".

That should be more than enough proof for you. Please, in the future, know what you are writing about before you write it. Thank you, Kodfish

If everyone knew exactly what they were talking about before they wrote they would be God--or you. Now tell your bull**** to Washington state residents.

While you're at it you can tell the Mirage, MGM, Caesars and all the rest. Funny that all Internet poker sites are offshore. I guess since it's legal I can open my own shop in Wisconsin. Perfectly legal, so I'll get the ball rolling. Wow, I'll be the first US Internet poker site.

I guess the big US gambling corporations didn't know how to contact you. I'll point them to your law offices.

First, pick one of the 11 states that does have an explicit ban.

Second, act like playing poker online and hosting an online poker room are the same thing.

I'll try this: Point me to the law that says I, a resident of Delaware, cannot PLAY poker online. Not host. Play.

No, you can't do this.
Operating an internet-poker site in the US is illegal.

However, in most states, playing internet-poker in the US is legal.
You aren't alone in not knowing this. But most people actually are capable of changing their minds and/or actually LEARNING once it is pointed out to them that their previous assumption about the legality of PLAYING internet-poker in the US was wrong.

I was told that Full Tilt started distributing pokergirl's 47k to her opponents at about 10:15am EST this morning.

If you are truly innocent then it's possible that 2+2 as a whole could still be helpful. Not likely since Mike Haven remains unconvinced and wasn't able to swing whatever 'live test' for you. But if the chance is 1 in 10,000 that revealing more details on 2+2 could help you vs. 0 that you will get your money by not posting then it seems to me like it's worth it.

I fail to see what harm could come to you by posting everything you think and know.
If you were truly innocent I would think you would be posting every single detail that went back and forth between you and FT and Mike, etc etc.

But it's Mike who is the one to tell us about you wanting to go there to take a live test to show them or whatever.
By NOT telling us what's going on it just seems strange and like you have something to hide. In fact, you actually ARE hiding something. And for the life of me I can't understand why.
Sorry for bumping this but sillysal's recent posts have reminded me of the situation.

Look, as to your why not comment further what do you have to hide statements. Know one thing criminals are sneaky. It is in their best interest to remain quiet and keep their activites as much under the radar as possible.

Sillysal was guilty from the get go. It was your classic, "Oh I am a poor little girl who got screwed over by the big bad site" This poor innocent girl had connections with prior botters. Admitted to both knowing them and meeting with them.

You see as slick as these criminals are the truth always comes out in bits and pieces. Why do you think sillysal hardly ever posted? The best thing was to keep their mouth shut. In reality this poor little girl is a late 20's man who is well versed in the field of financial crimes. In fact I would bet this individual still has active accounts. Perhaps having friends play on them at their homes to avoid detection. You see criminals have one common flaw. They are all greedy. The only way they stop is when they get caught AND arrested. So far this individual has only gotten caught.. But because of the internationality of the matter them getting arrested is not likely.. Until an arrest actually occurs, which it inevitably will this person will continue defrauding others for personal gain.

Same exact play, known connections to other botters/criminals. This was an obvious guilty from the beginning.
