FTP is slowly becoming the new UB perhaps even worse.

Lets see the list of complaints with FTP...i can think of 3 but im sure there are many more!!

1. The cashouts suck whether its paper check or bankwire. 50% of the checks bounce and there are ppl waiting on bank wires since Feb...all sites have had cashout issues but FTP is the only one who cant get it under control....I CAN GET MY MONEY FROM UB NEXT DAY!!!

2. Customer service sucks. They take up to a week to respond to an email. Also the fact that nobody from FTP has responded ITT says alot about customer service. UB has live chat and they will at least address the accusations made against them.

3. Double Charging. This is basically stealing. The fact that FTP is responding to this by basically saying "its not our problem" is about as crooked as it gets. I have hearded rumors that most of FTPs payment processors are actually fronts and are really owned by FTP. like someone else stated, IF UB WAS DOING THIS IT WOULD BE A HUGE STORY.

this has been going on long enough. I believe that the lack of coverage these issues are getting from websites like cardplayer and pokernews is because they make a lot of money off FTP.

i would just like to add that im not saying you should play at UB or am i an UB shill...I think both FTP and UB are crooked as hell....to people playing within the US my advice is PLAY AT POKERSTARS!!!

Just got off the phone with my bank's fraudulent charge department to file a claim. The lady at least sounded optimistic that this should get resolved in 1 to 10 business days. She also said I am not the first to call in PMI, I did not specify that this whole problem started out from an online poker site, but rather just said "Online Account", which seemed enough for her.

She also had no problem with me still disputing the charge from 1/28, which I thought was past the 60 day window. Now I guess I just have to wait and see. To be honest this has seriously soured me on playing on FTP, which has been my favorite site. I have been taking a break anyway but now am seriously doubting that I will go back to them.

It is extremely alarming that you know FT is trolling this and they won't say a word. Cosign that if this was a UB issue it would be a whole different story! This is like if FT was a brick and mortar casino and you are safe playing inside, but the second you walk out the door to your car, we won't protect you walking out there, even though your on our property and every gangster thief is standing right outside the door waiting for you...welcome though

It's even worse than that, it's like the cage man at a b&m casino taking half your chips when you cash out and the casino saying "Sorry, not our problem, you need to go after the guy who stole the chips." same exact situation, they (FT) contracts with these payment processors and pays them so they are basically FT employees.

I just sent an email to Card Player asking them to report on this issue. Will post their response, if any--I suspect that advertising $$ may work against an objective approach...

FTP's handling of this situation has been absolutely unacceptable. Their canned email response makes me vomit in my mouth a little. Smarten the **** up immediately FTP. This is your responsibility, fix it.

Has anybody contacted casinomeister?

Whats so ironic is the fact that many people still have deposts to FTP that haven't cleared their banks from Nov of last year...BEGGING ftp to take their money, then there are those who are getting money taken from their banks who never even authorized it. Just mind boggling.

E-mail sent to Cardplayer mag. requesting they look into it with a link to this thread. Keep the heat on, we need to regulate where the U.S. govt. can't and their 'local governing body' won't.

Dear Full Tilt Poker,

I did not give my banking and personal information to PMI.

I gave that information to Full Tilt Poker.

If you gave my information to a 3rd party as a way to get my money/business, then YOU are responsible for making sure that the 3rd party that YOU chose to do business with is using that information properly.

Your behavior in this matter is inexcusable and unacceptable.

Perhaps 2+2 could help the players who are being done wrong by FTP. I think the first thing they could do to help is sticky all the threads concerning FTP payment issues to the top of the main page until FTP decides they need to address the situation. Either that or we should all just keep bumping them.

This may be a silly question I know, but has anyone tried locating where PMI is? It looks like you guys were able to get their phone number. Maybe you can get a location from it? Might be helpful in trying to pin these bastards to a wall.

Listen guys, this is completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed by a FTP Representative ASAP. We need to get Mike and Adam to talk about this issue on the 2+2 Pokercast. Let's all go to the Pokercast forum and link this thread in the "Forum Static" thread. Can I get a +1?

I think one of you that have been personally affected should put a pointer post in every FTP thread out there pointing back here, including the 24/7 ftp thread if it isn't already done This is not ok that it's being done to you guys and word has to get out to the community.

For what it's worth (not much to those out $$ but maybe something to those reading this thread and haven't checked thier accounts yet.)

After reading this thread I was really worried that I would have the same problem since I deposited to FTP in August 2010. I've gone through the statements and can't find a false charge. I really hope I haven't overlooked them.

Hoping this gets resolved for those it effects!

(My appologies for the double post, too many tabs open )

It's not only a question of the people who are getting ripped off being hurt financially. This type of thing hurts the entire ipoker world lessening the chances of legalization/regulation (in the U.S. especially) with these shady goings on frightening the general public and giving anti-poker voices levers to pull when it comes time to argue against legalization.

LIES

They absolutely, 100%, share your information with third parties. It's their entire banking model! And when somethings happens that jeopardizes your safety and security, they do nothing.

I'm out $600 because FTP shared my banking information with untrustworthy parties. ...and I can't imagine the nightmare that is closing my bank account (multiple direct deposits, linked credit cards, legitimate ACH transactions for multiple mortgages, insurers) instead of having to fight and block them as they come in.
