How about someone gets in e-mail contact with Fertitta Interactive, the b&m U.S. concern FT has just 'partnered' with in the quest for legalization and ask THEM for some answers about their offshore partner's role in this thing. Link to the thread on Fertitta below.

Is FT aware of this thread? This is very very disturbing, please help these people. I understand that FT is not directly responsible for the larceny occurring but at the same time much more of an effort can be made. Get these people the contact information, explain to them how to get their money back, etc. please. Don't just tell them you're not responsible and good luck. These are your customers. They are getting scammed through their decision to be a customer of yours. This is ridiculous please get someone in that thread to help.
I just e-mailed that to Black Card support, let's see what they say

Here you go

SCOTT DODD (SCOTT DOWD?) 1-949-546-0423
JACOB BENNET is possibly another contact/owner of PMI (sorry no phone number for him, maybe someone else can track down his info)

Apparently they're based out of California
The customer ID for PMI: 1800361628

They also possibly go by the name ING/USA Credit (listed with the same 888 #) [Unconfirmed]

Apparently, Fifth Third Bank backs whatever company is behind the charge. Their phone number is 513-358-6232. [Unconfirmed]

*This info was all posted on the link given earlier in this thread, http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-888-875-8035/3 *

I just e-mailed that to Black Card support, let's see what they say

Hello .,

Thank you for contacting us.

We can confirm that Full Tilt Poker did not initiate or authorize the processing of this transaction. For further details on this charge, please contact the processor in question PMI 8888758035

As this charge did not originate from Full Tilt Poker, we also recommend contacting your financial institution should you wish to pursue the matter further.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please let us know. We're always here to help.

Aaron

Odd isn't it, I pointed that same thing out in a couple other FT threads today. It SHOULD concern ALL online players, especially U.S. players, it's this kind of shady bs that our 'morality police' opponents in politics use to bash poker and keep it from legalization/regulation. Not to mention making their claims of 'security' for your financial information look like a bad punch line at the comedy club.

I haven't been affected by this in any way, but have been following it a bit.

I don't have any doubts that if it were pokerstars, they'd have released a statement by now and worked with their customers.

well i guess FTP is just going to ignore this thread and every other thread about the shady things going on there. We should take some more steps to get the word out about FTP...Perhaps someone could create some Anti-FTP avatars we could all use

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in posting.

I can confirm that Full Tilt has never contracted with, or used a third party processor called PMI.

We never initiated, nor authorized, the processing of any PMI related transactions. We have attempted to contact the PMI +1-888 number to get more information for our legal team, to vigorously defend these allegations and investigate this matter further.

So far, we've been unsuccessful in determining the source of how these transactions were wrongfully processed. We recommend that you contact your bank and dispute all transactions related to PMI 8888758035. As stated, they were never authorized nor processed by any of Full Tilt’s processors.

If we find out any further information related to PMI 8888758035, we will post it in this thread.

Pretty generic response IMO obviously FTP has something to do with this. How else does FTP explain that these double charges are for the same amounts as everyones FTP deposits...Also how does it affect so many FTP players? Not one person ITT has said they dont play at FTP and yet they still recieved a charge from FTP.

Any of you 'statistics' types want to put a number on the likelihood of a coincidence that the number of people on the 1st page of the thread just happen to be FT customers and also just happen to get hit with PMI bogus charges AND the fact that many (if not most) of those charges just happen to match amounts legitimately deposited on FT?

Is it confirmed that Western Clear and PMI are in fact the same company and if so is it confirmed that Western Clear was a FTP processor?

They can deny all they want. The simple truth is that many of us have debits from PMI that are unauthorized and the only thing we all have in common is that we played on ftp. There is no denying that. Just because they claim they have never contracted with this company does not mean they are not responsible for this.

Im really surprised that the actions of PMI has not happened by other processing companies. The processing companies main function is to circumvent US law so that Full Tilt can get money from American depositers. When a company whose sole purpose is to thwart US law, should anyone be surprised if that company makes more ethically and legally dubious decisions/actions.

One of the courses of action the UIGEA has is this: It gives authority to the attorney general to file a civil action against any company that facilitates an unlawful transaction, without having to prove that a crime has occured. Want your money back.....contact the attorney general about PMI processing and full tilt poker. Go the Gowen route, file the suit, and then at the WSOP serve some of the reps of full tilt poker.

This has not affected me and I dont really care either way. If it happened to me; I would certainly follow thru about PMI and I would probably follow thru against full tilt for their ostrich in the sand defence. FT directly benefited from the PMI processing circumvention of the UIGEA regulations, and now to say that we have nothing to do with these actions even though we gave them your banikng info is laughable
