lol but it all makes sense and there are people already using it and if it is a scam its the most elaborate ive ever seen... so if they somehow **** me over with the limited meaningless info I've given them then I'll just have to tip my hat.

I am amazed though that a lot of people are 'trying' to convince themselves that this is legit.

If I recall correctly I did have to email affiliates at fulltiltpoker.com to find out who my affilliate was.

This was a year ago...

I emailed support@rakebackpros.com and affiliates@fulltiltpoker.com to confirm the legitimacy of this. No response from FTP. Response from rakebackpros:

This is a legitimate site, and all you have to do is sign up with us and
give us your player ID. By tomorrow or even possibly sooner you will be
able to see your stats updating. The best way for you to be assured
this is a real site is to see your stats updating.

No reason to assume this is a total scam. I played on Tilt for a long time without RB. Last year I recieved exactly the same kind of offer through the Hendon Mob - and have been recieving my rake back from the Mob since that time. Full Tilt may simply be making the same kind of offer at this time through another of their affiliates.

why would my post sway you to not believing it? look...i'm just trying to figure out like the rest of us if the site is legit or not. until today, i never questioned it because i received rake back with no problems. but today on stoxpoker.com, i saw a thread on this and it said to check out these threads running on 2+2.

id say >90% legit. Lucky_mf, a highly respected poster on 2p2, posted a while back he gets rakeback through this site. His situation was different in that he had no active accounts, but a closed account. I got this email, but haven't followed through partly because of the legendary FTP lag, but also FTPs methods. Stuff like why aren't more players being selected for this offer, and why can't I use a different affiliate. I was still planning on signing up through rakebackpros, but hoping a thread like this would happen even though it will probably hurt the ole bb/100 if I play at FTP.

I doubt you need to change your screen name, although if you go to their site and read the stuff, you get the impression that you do.

Yeah same here, but not Hendom Mob, a different rakeback site. Right around when Party closed I think they let a bunch of rakeback sites do this for existing accounts. I just signed up with a site, gave them my ftp username and after a short time I was getting rakeback on it.

No idea if it's a scam or not, but this was needed.

I also got this email today and i joined them. I didn't have to change anything, just filled in my excisting nickname at fulltilt and choose a password.
Just to make sure i also downloaded the client to their site but this isnt necesary.

so the reason my post is making some of you believe this site is not legit is cause i only have a couple posts? i got ya now. that's fine. i didn't post here to get respect....i posted here to let people know that i have received rake back from rakebackpros (and it seems like others have as well) but am concerned (like others) that i gave information out to a non-trusted affiliate.

For the people that saying they are positive this is a scam, or it is a confirmed scam. Prove it. Show us a link or something about it. Dont just come here making bogus assumptions that you claim are fact just because YOU think it is a scam.

Also, how are these "Scammers" getting our usernames and email addresses?

I have never typed my FTP name anywhere besides my FTP client.

I forgot to mention that my rakeback stats are already updated at rakebackpro's. It all looks legit to me.

Yep. FTPDoug called it a "land grab". Since then, 2+2ers have thought it couldn't be done but rakebackpros is a revelation.

My experience with FTP support is that it takes ages (24 hours +) before they respond

Lol. I must say this sounds very fishy. 2-3 weeks ago when FTP was doing that questions and answers thread they said they did not have any plans for adding rakeback to existing accounts. If they had thoughts of implementing something like this I'm sure they at least would have hinted towards it to create a buzz or something.
