Cliff's Notes from what I think is neither proprietary nor an aid to bot-builders:
I have a lot (7k or so) tournament summaries. I've actually looked through maybe 300 of them. All of those were played when I was coaching him Sept-Nov of 2007. The ones I only looked at in bulk, including 6k super-turbos, show mistakes that are pretty typical of other people I've coached at that level. All of my coaching to all of my students is very heavy on theory and computation/analysis methods for push/fold decisions, and his was no exception.

Anyways... we'll see what happens I guess. At least some people are getting their accounts unlocked.

Slim Pickens, do you recall them playing on any other poker sites? If so, what where their screen names there?

Also, it is probably stated here 13 times and I have read every post at least once, sometimes 20 with quoets, what was DeepComputer's screen name here? DeepComputer?

IDK there were various debates about it, but I have it from an impeccable source that coached "her" at poker.

The only "them" I know is DeepComputer=TheFrenkel on Full Tilt = TheFrenkel on 2+2. It's all one person, who is also TheFrenkel on Stars. Actually, now that I look at my files, I realize I have no hand histories from TheFrenkel on FT, just Stars.

Congratulations, GP. It's refreshing to read one of these threads where a poster turns out to be innocent, rather than a guilty cheater upset at getting caught.

Uh... yes RLY.

I have a lot of super-turbo histories, but I believe none of them are "TheFrenkel" on FT. They are all DeepComputer. All of the "TheFrenkel" hand histories I have are from Stars. Of course these accounts all belong to the same person (let's just call him DeepComputer to keep it straight), and I've known that the whole time. I tried to give him the opportunity to come clean about what I thought was a pretty standard rakeback 2-account on Full Tilt thing, but someone beat him to the connection so I just went ahead and confirmed it so we don't waste time with speculation.

I just woke up. I got a similar email to gp's around the same time he posted. I checked my account and I can login and register for sngs.

Now my only concerns are with not getting iron man last month as I was one day away I believe on the morning 29th when I got my account banned during my session. My second is that I'm considering doing a leaderboard prop bet and I don't want to get my account locked again. I emailed ftp with my concerns.

hope the email goes well. it should be automatic they say yes, but it being ftp....

as far as the prop bet, just bet with the condition that if either player is locked out it's off. A freindly bet that would work fine, a large bet you'd need a 3rd party to verify the lockout, generally the person holding the money for both sides.

I'm glad to see that some people are getting their accounts back. I have sent numerous emails, and have yet to get another response, and of course don't have my account back. Unfortunately, mine will prolly be last - I most likely got put to the back of the line cause of the nature of my emails At least I know that it will prolly be fairly soon - and not weeks like was discussed earlier.

Overall I have to say that despite the 2-3 days where they showed lack of communication that I'm happy with how quickly this was resolved.

well it's good to see them trying to do the right thing on the back end I guess.

I hope whatever broad net they used in this gets a long hard look because it's a pretty crappy way to treat the customer.

It doesn't say you did, it says they cleared you of any suspicion and you'll have an account as long as you don't breach the EULA in the future.

I reported the vietnam players to ftp long ago. If it is cool with a mod i can post a copy/paste of what i sent ftp , if not ill keep it to myself

When FTP seizes the funds of the real cheaters, those who have been cleared should expect to receive some of the redistributed funds, amirite?

I'm surprised nobody has brought this up yet, since you all were playing in the same SNGs. It would take a a ton of work to figure out fair redistribution, and I have a feeling that the reason why FTP has been so circumspect about this investigation is that they would rather not do all that work. Nobody knows the "official" reason for being investigated, other than a possible breach of the EULA.
