Doug,

It might have slipped by you but ppl are demanding more security. I guess it must have slipped by you cos they're demanding it for months and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE!

So just in case:

Goddd people just whine endlessly. Why are so many of you so eager to go play on deep tables with a bunch of regs? How dumb are you people? Why not try playing on the regular tables with the fish for a change? Maybe you'd actually turn a profit.

lol at all the regulars leaving FTP deep stack tables to go play at stars. Good riddance.

Jesus christ, move the deep tables back to within the main list. Don't segregate them.

edit: I will leave FTP if this is not fixed, it is that big an issue.

And to the guy who said deep tables are running, I typically play 200nl FR with a bit of 400nl. At 200 I can usually get 16 tables of all deep during peak, and around this time I could at least get 10 or so. There are now exactly 0 deep tables running at either 200nl or 400nl FR. Zero. If this continues I'm gone along with my 50k+ of rake I would generate for the rest of the year. It may have sounded like a good idea when you first thought of it, but it's just plain bad. If you want to add the fancy new icons in that's fine, but don't separate the deep from the normal tables.

Well thanks for distant plans at least I guess you guys do realize pokerstars does a better job of taking care of "bigger" players who are usually pretty discriminating? The only things keeping business is availability of certain types of games or preferences for software, both of which are pretty ephemeral advantages....

There is no reason to have deep tables segregated: they have their own little blue icon next to them now so they are visually identifiable in the lobby if you want to avoid them. Don't fix what wasn't broken: please mix deep tables back into the non-deep grouping.

First deep tables obviously aren't all regs. Regular tables are fine and all but you usually have to play with several shortstackers, and deep poker is just way more interesting and enjoyable. I seriously have no idea wtf you're talking about, but it's pretty clear you don't either

why wouldn't they? Pretty much the only thing FTP had going for it was deep tables. If they're not going to run as often now, then everyone might as well play at a site with better security and better customer service.

Doug,

i would really like to make FTP my main site with rakeback, HA games, and now antes, but simply cant due to the lack of security. This really needs to be dealt with very soon if you want to catch up with stars.

also HA games with antes would be great, and +1 on fixing the new deep stack table layout

Can we get an explaination as to why, pros are now allowed to have alter-screennames when playing?

At the educational tables, they may or may not be playing under their red name now. Isnt this why Brian Townsend got raked over the coals, and Jonathan Little lost his red pro status? It seems to be this is breaking the rules that have been clearly established by Fulltilt.

Whos to say that they wont be doing this at other tables as well?

the reasoning for the ability for the red pros to be able to change their screen name is a bit far fetched as well.

Quote:
Playing under an alias allows educational content to be filmed in a more realistic environment, as opponents of red name pros often change their strategy when playing a known professional.
who cares if People play differently against them.

I don't know about the Townsend situation, but Little got canned for sharing his 100% rakeback screenname account with his friends so they could get 100% rakeback.

I got quoted from the previous thread. Apparently I rule.

Also, I don't get adding 45-man superturbos when there aren't any turbos. Add turbo 45-mans please. And also add higher buyins for the 45-mans. The $75s run at a decent clip. I think you could get $100+ turbos to run too.

Once again - a hotkey that allows you to sit out/sit in all current tables at once.

Do something about the shortstack bots from Europe that are taking over your lower level full ring NL games.

Doug,

This is my first post in a FTP Answers thread. Please move deep tables back to where they were... they are barely running and no regular(the majority of your rake) wants to play against short slackers. Maybe you could make all tables 50bb minimum?? This would solve the problem once and for all.

Unfortunately, like many others in this thread, I will not play another hand on FTP until deep tables are mixed back with normal tables. Separating them out BELOW cap tables is ridiculous and they arn't even visible anymore.

Maybe your development team should consider starting poll's in FTP forums where players can vote for their preference/priority before making terrible changes that upset your player base? Just a thought.

antes is amazing can't wait for them at lower stakes. I also gotta echo everyone else's statements about moving the deep tables.

- I *think* that's correct right now. If I had to guess, though, I'd say that could easily change in the future. It seems more like an oversight to me than anything, so I don't want to get your hopes up and say it's always going to be that way.
can anyone confirm this?

with miniFTOPS coming up if this is true im buying into everything with points... holy freeroll batman

another suggestion could be not to get rid of the beta client once it gets out of the beta testing, so you can test every major change like this on the beta one and get feedabacks from testers...

once you realized everything works and that everybody's happy you can move the feature to the official client...

something like that...

these surprises can hurt the business
