yup. this is a huge part of the reason why i moved 95% of my play over to Stars. FTP...it rly is sad that you continue to avoid and duck any improvement that has huge ramifications for your longevity in this market.

i just transferred my entire roll on there over to the other couple sites i play at. i just dont see the point until this gets resolved.

I'd like the Academy Points Store to open or at least show us what the prices of things will be. I have some points that I've gotten by just playing my normal game and would love to know what it's going to take to get some stuff with them.

FTPDoug has said many times that this isn't likely to ever happen aside from using them in a designated handful of tournaments. Unfortunately, aside from miniFTOPS , those are all pretty much NL Holdem tournaments.

we need to keep this stuff out of this thread. im sick and tired of full tilt addressing these kinds of things and not the real issues. if every single person on here would post that they want a security token or something of that nature then im sure it would have a better chance of getting done. full tilt sees suggestions like these and thinks they are easy so they do them instead of taking on the tougher challenges. im sorry for the flame, but this just grinds my gears more than anything.

And you people do realize that the people working on security and the people who add in different tourneys are NOT the same people? You guys are smart enough to post in this thread, so I can only assume you are smart enough to know that there are different people that do different things for full tilt.

Gaia online is a very fast and growing concept. And it sums up my idea very well:

to, as a player, be able to customize yourself. You guys knoe pokertaboleratings. Well what if each player had their own page (through full tilt). You can choose to display some results (like MTT cashes, or w/e).

You could have ppl comment on your page, etc...

Similarly at the tables:

customize your avatar. I'll be honest, this is one of the reasons i play FT over PS. b/c the avatars are cute. Well what if I wanted to have sunglasses? Or maybe some headphones. Maybe i'm black? I dont wanan just choose from two black guys.

Maybe add in options to pimp out your avatar. Either vis FTpoints (lame), or some other special point system.

IMO this can really encourage ppl to be on full tilt. instead of it being a degen gambling site, it ocudl be a more unique experience.

Iron man button: this thing is lame. How a button that shows your last 3 cashes in a MTT when you hoover over it.. Or the biggest pot you won today.

Why is PTR such a craze? b/c we can pimp ourselves out. If we have a huge winrate ppl will view our page. We have something to strive for: to be the biggest winner in a day, or to be the biggest winner of the week, etc...

2) Make massive data mining way harder (aka destroy pokertableratings). Step zero: close their full tilt affiliate account (dammit you are doing business with a site that SELLS HAND HISTORIES ffs, how anti-TOS can you get). Step one: do not store observed hhs to disk.

Can you please explain why some basic security measures are not being implemented while the RSA tokens are in development? You have had 6+ months to implement something. I mean, how hard would it be to add a feature that asks security questions if someone tries to login from a different IP address? And there's all sorts of other relatively easy things you could do too.

I think it would be awesome if FTP coul add some more security like maybe these things called RSA token. Now this might be a rumor but "they" say that a pretty big online poker site, some of "them" even say it's the market leader, has issued these a while ago.

I myself don't believe that ("they" talk a lot, don't they?) since pokersites should in general have all their resources tied up in adding new donkament stuff (that's the way it should be, no?)

I have my computer running 24/7 and am logged into ftp 24/7 aswell just to prevent some scum from logging into my account from zimbabwe.

I even had to purchase a third party program which i didn't need JUST FOR TH ONE PURPOSE OF HAVING IT DENY SOME ZIMBABWEAN ******* LOGGING INTO MY ACCOUNT WHILE I AM THE **** LOGGED IN MYSELF!!!!!
