It's nice to see that Doug is keeping his sense of humor. Very nice post, sir. Much appreciated and keep up the good work.

The security token news is exciting, but "run it twice" and "cashout tournament" sound a little out there. What's next, prop bets at the table?

All that said, gotta give them credit for trying new things. Academy, Ivey Challenge, WSOP Fantasy Poker, etc.

- I can. We can't take screenshots of your screen and we don't monitor your internet browsing
So the websites ptr, sharkscope etc are banned but we can look at them anyway, with the client open, because you don't know if we are?

Is this true?

I wonder if fish will be more likely to make bad calls with draws now because they'll think "now I have twice the shot to win some money". Obv retarded, but hey, there fish for a reason.

I'll never run it twice so this feature is pretty useless.
TBH I can see fish berating people for not running it twice.

anyway, come on RSA tokens

Please a sign that says "Sitting Out" when somebody is sitting out in a tourney. Please. I'm tired of raising into the blind that has been sitting out for ten minutes, only to find he's back now.

Doug
Make it a turbo. They take too damn long. That's why it filled too slow.

Re: FTP Answers 10/15

Thinking about the cashout tourneys (i'm playing the 10;30 $11 one), the likely result is that the payouts become even more top-heavy. The remaining cash-out pool gets distributed based on chip count as soon as the final table starts. There will always be a huge amount left in cash-out pool because to deplete it fully would require every chip in the tourney to be cashed out prior to the final table.

While the tourney don't interest me, it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Re: FTP Answers 10/15

After more thought, I think a better solution would be to have the cash-out pool operate as-is up to the bubble. Thereafter, the prize pools should be merged and subsequent cash-outs would alter the prize payouts of the remaining places. This would flatten the payout structure.

Re: FTP Answers 10/15

How about a leaderboard (with some kind of payout) for individual regular daily tournaments? A lot of casual players play at the same time every day and might be more inclined to play even more if there was an incentive to be a "regular" in the same tourney? Even just a small prize (a few buy-ins for the leader over the course of a year) would make for some fun competition.

Meaning when you sit down you'll be forced to have auto-post on (and be placed in "Wait for BB" mode immediately), then you'll have a "Sit Out Next BB" checkbox instead of the "Auto-Post" checkbox. Anyone not like this idea?

I DO NOT LIKE THIS IDEA!
While it will be easier for your programmers to implement this, this is NOT WHAT PLAYERS WANT. This is NOT a solution to the problem. This creates a NEW problem (having to post in a -EV position).
Read it again. You'll automatically auto-post and you have the choice when you sit down to post now or wait for BB

Please fix this.
-Make these popups less resource hogging (stop the freezing)
-Make it one popup
-Change the cow belching alert noise

2) I'm still randomly getting double cards about 3-5 times/ 1000 hands when multitabling. It goes away when I resize the table even a little bit.

3)Internet browser. My default browser is Firefox, however anytime I open a browser window throught the client (my promotions, my ironman, FT academy, etc.) FTP is opening an internet exploder browser which then proceeds to freeze my computer for a few seconds.

4) Overall freezing. All of the list below cause some level (>2secs) of computer freeze.
-Using the client to open any browser related stuff
-Last Hand replayer
-Layout changing (even for a minor change the client hogs a lot of puter to resize tables)
-popups at the end of SNGs asking if I want to register in another (both HU and Multiplayer)

5) Last but certainly not least.
TIMELY RESPONSIVE SUPPORT.
I acknowledge that you acknowledge the issue but tiny incremental improvements from a baseline of very low are not seen as significant progress. 1) Waiting list notification Popup

This is my number 1 issue (1a, w/ RSA tokens being 1b). How does this get completely overlooked, Doug?!?

Here are a few suggestions :

- make the table instantly popup when it's your turn to play (like on stars) and not 2 sec after the beep
- change the annoying waitlist sound (+1 for newteabag)
- bet slider in sb increments
- timezones
- different currencies for bankroll like on ipoker or partypoker
- smaller lobby in standard view
- highlight colors in the lobby for tables you are playing on or on waitlist

I'd also like the datamining problem to be addressed. I can't believe sites like handhq or ptr can still provide fresh hand histories (how can they do that btw?). Please do something to prevent those sites to datamine. I really dont like the idea that some players may have more info on me than I have on them.
+1, again, please!

* Please note that maximum rake might vary for hands that are dealt twice.
So what does this mean?

Edit. Found it.. http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/glossary/R/#rake
Quote:
rake

Rake is the percentage of a pot that the house collects as compensation for hosting a game. At Full Tilt Poker the maximum rake in ring games is $3, with a minimum pot size needed for any rake. The only exception is a hand completed where players have chosen to use Run it Twice, where maximum rake is $4.
