Of course it could work online. There would have to be exceptions made for situations like the one you described.

Doug,

Can we get lobby color highlights so we know which tables we are and aren't seated?

I think he is just saying you only bring up to the max at the table. So if you are at a 100 nl table and you have $400 on the table and you move to a new table, you have to sit with $100 no more no less, cause its not going to make you sit down at a new table with more then the max buyin.

i don't think that is what he is saying. he is comparing it to rat-holing so i'm pretty sure he means the entire $400.

bringing it up to the minimum means, if i am reading him right, if he is short stacked at a table and it breaks or he is moved, he can't take just $13 with him (or whatever).

If thats what he means, then that will never happen. I am pretty sure it would be too hard to tell when a person leaves on his own and leaves cause the table broke. What if I am 4 tabling and i quit all 4 on my own, then join just 1 table and I have more then the max at all the 4 tables I quit. What amount do I bring to this table?

If short stacking is really a huge problem, they should just increase the min buyin and not try to do all this other crap people are asking for.

We've asked for the buyin to be increased repeatedly, and that hasn't happened either.

No it's not. Pokerstars' profusion of 50bb min is a decent solution, and Absolute/Ultimate Bet has a default of 40bb min, 200bb max, which i assume is the only reason they are still in business despite of all the scandals and a software that tilts me intensely.

i've sent 9 emails in 5 days with no response

Seriously, this is such ****ing bull**** please ****ing address it
Yeah seriously **** this ****.

How can ANYONE feel confident about withdrawing via a Check now???

This, only with AUD too. If you're adding one currency it can't hurt to add a few more. Sure, we're only 21 million people, but Australia counts too right?

How about deep stack tables where you can buyin for 300BBs max 100BBs min.?

Limit short-stackers to 2 tables.

This would go a long ways towards reducing the SS problem.

Inexperienced players who like to buy in short will not be affected but SS pros won't be able to clog up all of the tables.

I finally (After 5+ days, and about 1 day or so after I sent another URGENT e-mail) got a response from FTP about the bounced checks, check cash out option, and the lack of a bank transfer option.

It was rather ******ed and they said I have a bank transfer option available now when I clearly do Not as I still have the same error message.

I think I'm just done with FTP.

sry if this has been said before but its been about a week where I cant see the bet or pot sizes. I have tried fooling with the animation settings and not running any other applications but this doesn't help. I am using vista on a new comp and used to have this problem from time to time, especially when i started multitabling but now it seems permanent.

Can we have an "Open All" button in the "Find Player" dialog please? It would be a lot easier than opening tables one at a time. Failing that pleas allow multi-select in the list box control and we can do the same thing with shortcut keys.

I would like the lobby filter to have the ability to eliminate structures from the filter, rather than selecting only one type.

In other words, I'd rather see all games except fixed limit, and mixed limit--instead of just being able to select no limit.

I'd like to be able to easily select both NL and PL and not select the others.

doug, also address the cashing out problems.
ppl are getting way too many bounced checks.

I mean this is 10x more important in customer retention than any short stacking. Who wants to play on a site where you have to withdraw and be unsure of what will happen.

Can you explain why the people at cashier aren't replying to emails for over a week? And how that is in any way acceptable business practice?

It's completely ridiculous what's going on with Customer Service right now. 24 hours to get an acknowledgement. A week to get a response about a withdrawal. Another week to answer a reply. Absolutely unacceptable, Doug!

How many more complaints will it take to get FTP to address their egregiously slow Customer Service response times?
