What about when you're thinking about a hand and the client has a temporary freeze not allowing you to press any buttons whatsoever? How many people on here have had the client freeze when they were in a big hand? How many people have folded a big hand as a result? It would help a ton if FTP would automatically start the time bank for that player. This request has nothing to do with playing too many tables. It has to do with FTP's buggy software.

Also, if there are scripts out there that will auto start your time bank, then why not have the option directly in FTP?

The problem is the buggy software, not the time bank. Solve the problem, don't cause a different one.

That's fine, but in the meantime, give us a way so that we don't fold our big hands when the client freezes. I mean, freezing software has been ongoing for two months. I'm simply asking for something that will not auto fold my hand while FTP spends who knows how many more months on assuring that the client won't freeze up on anyone. What if it simply had an auto time bank for bigger pots--say pots of 10bb or greater? Even that would be nice.

fix shortstackers issue, make them have atleast 40bbs or something.

i will be a happy customer then and wont look to either pokerstars or another site to collect my rake.

Doug, improving customer service needs to be FT's #1 priority. Checks are bouncing all over the place (see thread in this forum) and support isn't even answering e-mails. Some of your customers have suddenly had thousands of dollars removed from their bank accounts, the least you could do is reply to their e-mails promptly. Please hire some people with all the rake I'm paying.

+1, the current time to act is perfectly fine, unless you are playing too many tables.

I e-mailed the wonderful PokerStars support and informed them of this thread's existence and our suggestion for a 12-month period for Supernova VIP instead of one starting in January.

This is the reply I received:

Hello XXXXXXX,

Thank you for your email and your interest in our VIP Club.

We have never asked you to leave FTP, but do please visit our VIP website to
read about the benefits of having higher VIP Statuses:

http://www.pokerstars.com/vip/

Even though it is really difficult to acquire a Supernova VIP Status during
2009 as now it is late October (because you need to earn 100,000 VPPs), you
can still earn the PlatinumStar VIP Status based on your monthly contribution.

You only need to be earning 7,500 VPPs per month and you get a variety of
benefits including the following:

- 150% FPP Multiplier
- VIP Tourneys
- PlatinumStar VIP Store Access

My suggestion is to try out the website and get familiar with our software
during 2009 and if you want to play enough to gain a higher VIP Status that
is your choice. If you aim to becoming Supernova though during 2010 then it
is a good idea to check out the real money games you will be playing and
also study the game of the players that you will be facing.

Whatever your decision, your always welcome at PokerStars no matter what
games you play or which VIP Status you have.

Good luck with your games, and please do not hesitate to contact us if you
require any further assistance.

Kind Regards,

Michalis

btw with regards to the invalid bet amount i have been paying attention and, for me, it is happening some but by no means all of the time when I am in both the small and big blind at NL50 6 max deep with antes tables. I have not noticed it in any other position, and have auto post selected.

It is very obnoxious, please fix.

+1. i play on my laptop and my desktop and i hate not having the same notes on both computers. it makes it really complicated.

Any chance of reducing the number of hands played of each game in the 7-game mix.

Maybe 6 or 8 of each as it's rare for people to sit down and play a whole rotation at the moment.

Running it twice charges extra rake!?!?!? What a scam. Running it twice is a good idea, but please eliminate the extra rake.

Could you guys add some lower buyin Heads Up Cash tables?

It would be sick to be able to play hu cash without like a 2-3k roll

like a .05/.10 table or a .10/.25 table for PLO and/or Holdem? possibly where you could buyin for 200 bb

thanks!

kind of a small issue compared to the others, but the player notes window has been opening in this very small horizontal box as opposed to the square one ever since the new client came out. like i said its not that big of an issue (big picture ldo) but its something thats somewhat of an irritation as it only shows one note at the top. could you change the default size back?

Okay, since this update there is a somewhat annoying issue.

When i start the client it says "Connected..." but it takes minutes to start the client (~2:15 last time). My CPU Usage hits 100% (Dualcore!) for 30s or so and then stays around 80-90% till the client finally shows the login screen.
The rest works absolutely fine tho.

What's the ETA on Euros balance ? or at the very least that you convert USD to Euros before processing withdrawals for Euro players ? Stars does that and it enables us to avoid getting raped by processors/banks exchange fees.

ftpdoug,

Any chance that with the changes to the software, FTP is considering raising the maximum number of tables that can be played at one time?
