It's "only" about 15 minutes or so, but the problem is that it gets exponentially harder to deal with as your number of tables increase.

8 tables it sucks but is marginally manageable, 10 you want to kill yourself when it happens but you can scramble around and limit the damage. Any more than that, it's horrible.

Any chance you could increase the number of fish players allowed in our Find Player lists? Or even better, a full buddy system where we can keep favorite players sorted in folders and search for tables they're on? I have more than 11 people I'd like to be able to find, and would love to keep them in folders for what game they play or what color-code I've noted them as.

Past answers from FTPDoug referred to "planned improvements" that "would NOT turn the buddy list into a fish finder."

So who knows what that means.

im just tilted. got an email from ftp about a bug i submitted a few days ago. they chewed me out, told me that the bug submission tool is not the "be all and end all" and
that i should have emailed them about it instead, followed by a cut and paste answer that had nothing to do with my problem.

can i speak to an actual human for once?

Just a small stakes player, so FTP deficiencies are just annoyances to me, but I sympathize with the multi $K rake payers.

Unfortunately the FTP problems seem to be deeply ingrained, almost cultural.
As such they won't be fixed absent a dislocating experience. Perhaps an exodus of high volume player to PStars on Jan 1 for SNE pursuit will do it. (Stars is missing a HUGE marketing opportunity to pick off disaffected FTP players by not offering SNE over a rolling 12 months!)

Much as I dislike wishing bad fortune to anyone, FTP needs to experience it, if only to rise above it by regenerating its culture.

Alas until there is some transforming event, the status quo continues:
CS will suck
The software will be buggy
The development priorities will be focused on eye candy, rather than substance
Improvements will be promised but not timely fulfilled
Etc

Kinda random and not a HUGE deal but:
when I input the security code cards thingy, the card i click shows up in its slot at the bottom for like half a second before "turning over". when this feature was first introduced, clicking the card would immediately register it at the bottom in the already turned over state. on a mac fwiw.

Can you guys make player notes saved on the server rather than on my PC? I recently had to format my PC and I forgot to save the my notes. It's really frustrating not having notes. I know it's my fault for forgetting, but let's say a computer crashes, which happens often. I think having them saved on the server would be a good idea.

and LED tvs are not worth having either, they are the biggest gimmick yet and it's actually illegal to advertise it as "LED TV" in the UK, this is because it's just an LCD tv with an LED backlight. real LED tvs would be an OLED tv, which are not yet out in the public market and would be super expensive.

I just wanted to add an option of whether you could have "use old login box" for the new themes, I like to keep things simple and I really don't like the new login box, so if you get rid of the classic theme, please at least leave the old login box. this isn't a huge priority so it's only something to work after you've fixed the current bugs, but I'm sure it can't be too hard to do.

Trying to play on my laptop and the latest update won't download. anyone else having this problem?

Well you've made this worse for me. Sometimes the client will get in a messed up state where no tables come to the front anymore. They still blink on the task bar when they need action at least. The notes and add chip boxes still pop up behind the table sometimes though.

I 8 table 9 handed hold'em ring games with HEM HUD on XP.

The dead table problem actually got worse..now I get it all the time and only closing the client, leaving all my tables, and then rejoining tables makes it go away.

Now I'm getting "cascading focus hogs" where one gets stuck, then once I finally get to act on that one and it gets unstuck, another gets stuck.

Fun times.
