im also a bit confused as to how cashing out your entire stack works.
"When a player makes a full Cashout during a tournament, they are eliminated in their current place in the tournament at the conclusion of the hand. For example, if a player who is in 21st place completes a full Cashout, they are eliminated from the tournament in 21st place and the Cashout value of their chip stack is credited to their account. If the player making a full Cashout has made it to a paid place in the tournament, the prize amount from the tournament prize pool is also credited to their account."

cool, so if im in 1st place when we are itm with 200 people left i can just cash out and get first place money? that would save me a few hours
You don't get first place money. You'll have 0 chips left after cashing out, so you're eliminated. You get the money for the last place that's still alive in the tournament.

that makes a lot more sense, its just that in the example he doesnt say how many people are left in the tournament. 21? i guess so. in that case why would anyone cashout completely when youre itm?

Doug, could you consider working with a content distribution network for the updates? It seems like every time there's an update, many people have problems downloading the new client, either through the updater built into the client or from the homepage.

I'm guessing it's a simple case of too many connections, not enough server capability which is what CDN systems are built to handle.

I like the speed aspect of the ante tables; heck, I'd like it if all tables worked like that, so the more that do, the better.

Well I guess I'll copy paste my post every month until it doesn't get totally ignored...

Here are a few suggestions :

- option to auto wait for bb and auto post blinds on all tables
- option for auto relod to reload to the initial buy in. In some tables I want to play 100 or 200bb, some 50bb.
- cash bonuses or tournament tickets in the ftp store
- make the table instantly popup when it's your turn to play (like on stars) and not 2 sec after the beep
- change the annoying waitlist sound (+1 for newteabag)
- bet slider in sb increments
- timezones
- different currencies for bankroll like on ipoker or partypoker
- smaller lobby in standard view
- highlight colors in the lobby for tables you are playing on or on waitlist

I'd also like the datamining problem to be addressed. I can't believe sites like handhq or ptr can still provide fresh hand histories (how can they do that btw?). Please do something to prevent those sites to datamine. I really dont like the idea that some players may have more info on me than I have on them.

+1 As long as we have as long to act on the ante tables still.

Cashout tourneys seem like a novelty that will be be very unpopular very soon, much like the matrix tourneys.

Not sure how often it will be 'run twice' as you're both going to have be lightning quick to press it surely?

Nice to see that these features are what the FT team has been hard at work on and not that the repeated requests in this thread, which are said to be on the way, take forever to materialise.

Yeah I was wondering this too... not sure exactly how this works.

Also, what happens if there is money left over in the cashout pool when the tournament is over? Does it all just go to the winner?

EDIT: hmm yeah I guess this makes a little more sense. It seems like 'cashing out' would always be hugely -EV in this case then.

No one on the final table can cash out. When it reaches the final table, the remaining amount of the 'cashout prizepool' is distributed amongst those that make the final table proportional to the amount of chips they each have.

Thus, these tourneys are even more top heavy payout wise than normal.

10. Session Information widget still only reports play money account balance, not real money account balance.

- Is this in the Favorites tab only by any chance? If so, try going back to the Browse tab and seeing if that switches it back to real money.
I was indeed using favourites tab. Anyway the widget seems to work correctly now in real money in the favourites tab.

Thanks

The reason few people care about shortcuts is because they already use them with a third party program.

Doug, you do a great job sir. Keep it up. Run it twice is very kool. If you could get it throughout most all in games you will get soooo many new customers. Seriously.

It is the Russian and German sweat shops that have already messed with the poker ecosystem.

Don't worry Doug. There is a clear answer for the fullsatcker come January 1st.

Are you guys honestly double raking the pot when you run it twice?

If so, epic scam.
