The server downtime today really was just scheduled maintenance. The server and client haven't changed. We'll have an actual update later this month.
Questions:
1. RSA Token?
- No change on this since last week, sorry. Still working on getting it out as soon as possible.
2. I play Super Turbo sngs, and some tables don't open automatically.
- We're looking into this. Any additional information you can provide, such as what else you have running at the time, would be helpful.
3. SB increase with the mouth wheel.
- That's the first lisp I've ever seen in writing. This is down as a project and will happen, but I don't know when. Hopefully before the end of the year, but no promises.
4. You didn't respond to my complaint in the last thread about support's completely unacceptable response time. I realize that it's not really a question, but I think a lot of people would like to hear you acknowledge the problem, and we'd obviously really like to hear that you're going to do something about it
- Okay. I acknowledge the problem. There's no magic fix, unfortunately. It's a lot of small things that will incrementally improve things over time. I would argue that things have improved quite a bit over the last two years, and they will continue to improve.
5. ive seen one time yesterday and one today that when a player at nl bust being able to buy in for 10bb.
- You are currently allowed one "short buy" which is half the posted minimum if you bust. This is very similar to what live poker rooms allow. Speaking of short, I've read all of the discussion about shortstacking in the previous Answers thread and we continue to have internal discussions about it. Nothing has been decided yet, but we feel we understand well the various arguments both for and against changes.
6. There's currently a bug where if a player finishes a tournament and leaves the tournament lobby open until it is closed automatically by the FTP client, the tournament summary is not written to the player's computer. (And this happens every time as far as I'm aware.) I'd just like to make sure that this bug is on the list to get fixed, and if you have any sort of ETA.
- Are you sure this is still happening? As far as I know, this was fixed an update or two ago.
7. Is there a way to not let a sng lobby open when they start?
- Yes, this is a planned project.
8. Is there a cap on hu tables or something now? New (0/2) tables don't seem to be generating as they normally do?
- There was a problem with the new tool which creates the ring games. Sorry about that. We have no plans to cap most table types (some tables in Ivey's Room excepted).
9. Please expand buddylist to allow more slots and be able to see who is on at once without clicking each individual name.
- It sounds like what you really want is a buddy list and not just a simple Find Player. We have plans for something along those lines eventually. To disappoint even further, it very likely won't be any kind of "fish finder."
10. Step tournaments. Its been asked about many many times.
- And answered many times! We do have plans for steps at some point, but I have no timeline.
11. Shootout tournaments where top 3 from every table advance and get paid along the way.
- No plans for this at the moment, sorry.
12. You really need to fix the bug that if two players are sitting out that if someone rebuys you cant see their new stack size if they rebuy.
- Agreed. I believe it will be fixed in the next update or two.
13. FYI I was just able to sit at a 2/4nl deep HU table, and it spawned another table of the exact same name which I also was able to sit at.
- This was another problem with the new tool that creates ring game tables. It was creating duplicate table names. We believe it's fixed now. Let me know if you see any tables with the same name now.
14. Please give me an option to all ways wait for the big bling in ring games.
- Planned.
15. Is there any option to automatically check "Auto post blinds" every time I sit down?
- Not currently, but also planned.
16. When you eventually introduce the rsa token will you offer discounts, like Stars has, to various levels of Ironman?
- This hasn't been decided yet.
17. $1 HU SNGs, please.
- Added.
18. Will you add Double or Nothing sngs
- Still no plans for this.
19. When will you add euro's?
- I don't have a date. Assuming we're just talking about storing your account balance in Euros, sometime in the first half of 2010 is a somewhat realistic guess.
20. Is there any information at all about the new rewards program?
- There isn't, sorry.
21. Make some of the rebuy periods 15-30 minutes longer to increase prize pools?
- Is there really demand for this? It's easy enough to do, but you're the first person I've ever seen ask for it.
22. Is it planned to have RSA Software SecurID tokens for smartphones when (if?) you have RSA security available?
- It is planned, yes.
23. When I filter the tournaments page, I want to see regular games AND guaranteed buy-ins, but not really bothered by the hundreds of sattelites which clog up the screen. I've played around with the filter and the advanced filter but there just doesn't seem to be a way of just viewing those games.
- We're going to add a "Satellite" checkbox to the Advanced Filters. Hopefully it'll show up a couple of updates from now.
24. Why won't FTP save my settings (like table background, hand histories, Racetrack vs. standard table). Every time I pick my setting and restart FTP, nothing is there and I have to start over...
- That's very weird. Sounds like maybe a permissions problem in the directory where those preferences are stored? If you're on Windows XP it's somewhere like:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\FullTiltPoker
You should see some .prefs files and some .xml files. That's where all of your preferences are stored. If they aren't there, for some reason Full Tilt can't write them out (if you're using Vista the location might be somewhere slightly different).
25. How the crap can I filter out Matrix sng's, I really do not want to register for one of these by mistake. If this isn't possible now, it really should be.
- If you're just looking at 1-Table SNGs you can go to Sit & Go -> 1-Table and Matrix tournaments won't be there.
26. any word on the 4 max tables?
- No word. Won't be for a while, though. Might not even happen for ring games.
27. any chance for even deeper than 200bb NL tables? say 500bb tables?
- There's always a chance. No plans, though.
28. the prompt to post blind again seems to come when you are disconnected in mid-orbit.
- We're looking into this.
29. flashing the PIN cards when you select them or click them just doesn't seem like a good security feature.
- There was a problem where people had no idea they were misclicking the wrong PIN card. The security guys felt like flashing the card briefly wasn't a security problem (for the types of attacks that the PIN will prevent) so we went with it. If you can come up with a good way it's very exploitable now where it wasn't before we allowed the flash, let me know.
30. sometimes one of the players continues to display their last action even when the action is not on them... kinda annoying because I have to hover over their pod to see what their stack size is
- I believe this was either fixed in the last update or will be fixed in the next. Let me know if it's still happening.
31. Please bring back short handed Full Tilt Point satellites.
- Sorry, can you clarify what's missing? Is it a 6-handed FTP sat to a $26 token? Or something else?
32. Doug, FYI your solution to fixing freeze ups in the new client several months ago (LAN settings, uncheck automatically detect settings etc) broke several things on my computer including HEM, IE, and gmail notifier. Once I reenabled that they all started working again.
- You're the first person I've seen report problems from changing that setting. The good news is that you shouldn't have a problem after switching it back to the way it was.
