So 2 days ago I made an account on partypoker and deposited 110 euros. I was asked to verifiy my Identity with a goverment issued Id.I took a picture of my passport and send it to them.I played a few spin and goes and after making a profit of 20 I called it a day. So far so good.....

The next day when i tried to log in I was told to contact customer support because my account has been temporerly frozen. They told me that they will look into this matter and get back to me soon.

Today i recieved an e-mail and i couldn't believe my eyes

We would like to inform you that the documents you have provided us with do not meet our security standards and your account will remain closed for good.

Please be informed that you are not allowed to create any new accounts.

Your account balance is also seized, for breaching our terms and conditions.

Your understanding on the matter is highly appreciated.

In case you have further questions, we will be more than happy to assist you. We are available 24/7.

Thank you for choosing us as your online gaming site.

Upon reiciving the response i immediatly contacted customer support through the live chat. They told me that i broke -16 in their Agbs but they can't disclose what exactly i did wrong and that the decision is Final.

I followed all the rules and i can't even defend myself because i have no idea what i am being accused of

To be honest i don't really care about my whole account balance being frozen (i only play poker for fun and never cared about the profit) but that they have the audacity about keeping/STEALING my deposit of 110euros from me OUTRAGING.

On the bright side i was planning on depositing my "bonus" of "5000 euros" because of all the extra work i had since the start of this pandemic plus the tax relieve. (PS i live in austria). But now i am seriously thinking of hiring an attorney with that money.


From now on i will only play on pokerstars (played there since 2012 never had a problem best support and software ever. But after the recent rake changes i decided to give party a shot)

I think you spending 5,000 Euros to pursue 110 Euros is a fantastic and noble idea, and one you should pursue and provide us with updates as you progress through it, because without question there is not some additional data that would help explain this situation in a more clear light.

i will contact an attorney tomorrow. If he sees the slightest chance (0.001 and above) about getting my 110 back i will spend the 5000 without hesitation and regrets!

I am 99.99 that I never made an account on PP before. As before last I exclusively played on Pokerstars. How can one of the biggest online gambling sites keep my deposit without telling me anything whatsoever about what i apperantly did wrong. If I somehow really made an account prior and they told me straight away about it, then fair game this i could have accepted easily.

How is this not stealing? saying my documents were fake and keeping my money. I know that i ain't special and that stealing is part of this world. But imagine you go to a casino and you buy 110 euros worth of chips...... then security comes ask you for your id and tells you to bad it's fake we will keep your money have a nice day...... excatly this would never happen but somehow party can get away with this !!!!

OP, do not listen to all those others trying to use logic and common sense. You have a mission one that is extremely important, and the only way you can succeed is if you spend 5,000 or more Euros to fight to get back those 110 Euros. Whichever lawyer agrees to take this on for you will certainly agree as long as you pay in advance. Godspeed!

Send them other documents. So they can compare, maybe your driver's license. Or make another picture(s) with the same ID.

Also ignore the voice inside your head telling you you might spend 5k.

Your lawyer will tell you if you have a good case. (If s/he doesn't, give up immediately.)

If you have a good case, PP will fold the minute your lawyer starts action.

It is about principle. Partypoker seized my funds without telling me why, after harassing live chat they told me my documents were fake End of story. I will never accept this hence i am willing to loose 5k to feel better
