Well, crazy thought. If you are offering a product in a certain area and it might be illegal for your costumers to use it, you kind of should know about it.

You really expect that a site is going to give you a definitive answer about the legality of poker where you live, and thus open themselves up to liability if their legal interpretation proves to be wrong? Not going to happen if the poker site's legal department has a clue IMO.

In general if you have to question if something is illegal, you should generally go to a lawyer right away. Depending on some random representative isn't a smart idea unless you have some type of binding legal contract that says the representative said this, and still it would have to be a hella good contract.

Besides what if the rep says yes, and laws change tomorrow. Those are the things that lawyers are good for. Thus why everyone is recommending one.

There's a pretty good amount of action on medium and low stakes tables (6-10 tables usually). The major tourneys on the weekends can field 400+ players. Most of the tourneys during the day have less than 100 or even 50 players. There's a $25 buy in 4k guaranteed at the end of every day that is pretty decent and normally fields around 200 players.
