I'm not really sure what you mean by "the latter part of your post above even supports that." as I don't believe it does. I think you may just be misunderstanding what I said.

These are just incorrect assumptions about how a successful micro-stakes bot actually plays. My own definition of a calling station would not fit the statistics he provided since I don't think of calling stations as being aggressive(raising) or being able to maintain a winning bb/100. I guess you use a different definition that relies solely on a player not folding to cbets and going to showdown more often than the average player in your games.

I know this has been mentioned before but The Beast just destroys the micros with rake. Arent these the players we want to be encouraging to play? These are also the players who mainly think the site is rigged.

I used to sometimes min cash the beast at 5NL and 10NL but that was with a bunch of tables and like 60+ hours.

Shouldnt there be some promotions to encourage a friendly environment and not rip money from the micros and disperse it at the top?

I just experienced the table yoink glitch at PLO cash. I won a hand, and was immediately ejected from the game. The client also did not allow me to sit back into the game for 30 mins.

They are at every stake besides the highest levels (NL2k+ I believe).

The PLO bots play up to PL2k.

None of the bots have a winrate this high that I have looked at. Which bots are you specifically talking about?

there are many mobile platform emulators available...but given their history with browser based games (jackpot sngs) and other disconnection issues i wouldnt suggest playing for very much $ until a while after this is released

I thought it was a joke post when someone posted that ACR were going to call their fast fold game Blitz Poker. When Poker Stars were originally developing their version of fast fold they offered up the idea of calling it Blitz Poker. The poker community right here on 2+2 roasted Poker Stars for picking a name associated with the German Nazis battle tactic (Blitzkrieg) and Poker Stars wisely picked an alternate name.

I guess ACR is clueless about world history and fast fold poker naming history too.

The 2+2 search feature is your friend. Here is the January 05, 2012 thread about Poker Stars starting Blitz Poker (wisely changed to a better name). Just read the first post. It took me a hot second to reference a post from 2012 !!! Clearly no historians at ACR.

Blitz means lightning in German. It's not bad and nobody cares the NFL announcer say blitz nobody care there and it's a much bigger organization then some small illegal offshore gaming site.

Blitzkrieg wasn't a German war tactic it was what a bombing campaign launched by German was called by British press.

You are being a little too literal. The main point is the name was ALREADY tried and found unworthy by another poker site. But ACR is often considered unworthy so maybe it fits.

But Poker Stars not using that particular name and changing to something else for their fast fold poker lifted any doubts valid, imaginary, or bad humor.

Get real it's not like they're naming a tournament series the Holocaust because of how many dead players will be shown in the tourney lobby. That is bad dark humor and makes sense to be offended but using the word blitz no.

Okay I understand if they see this and decide to change it that's their decision but I doubt the name would cause much trouble for them. The bot issue is much more detrimental to their room and that is what if reading this they should be most concerned about.
