Back on ACR after a long break due to the last Mac software version being shot. I see the software is still real weird and buggy. I see the stats window never works, sometimes the tourney lobby won't load (solved by software reset), you can't resize the windows and it's generally lagging. I have a new Macbook so computing power isn't a problem. Anything I can do to offset the bugginess? Or is this just what I have to deal with here?

so i have been playing on acr for about 2 weeks and it is blatent. all bots from russia and belarus at all stakes. there is never any preflop limp. they never pay off a value bet. i assume there are some superusers as well, as i had a guy check back middle set when i had top set. i informed support but they dont seem to care. i hate being cheated and places like this will be the reason poker doesnt get legalized in the states. wondering if anyone else has been cheated

Yeah, that sounds like a pretty solid reason to assume something as dramatic as superusers.

Regarding the bot situation on ACR, I would urge any serious player to make sure that you always have more than one option open. A lot of the options are not great, but we work with what we have I guess.

I played mostly live in 2016. I decided in 2017 that it would be better to have more than one option open and that I would try to have three. The only casino within 100 miles of my house had closed their poker room and the licensed charity poker rooms in my part of Michigan sometimes open, then close or move, within a month or two.

Now I keep money on at least two sites. I played on Americas Cardroom for a while but the lagging and crashing was horrible, so I switched to Juicy Stakes poker for about a year. ACR's crashing/lagging situation is much improved, so I stuck my toe in the water and I'm playing some SNGs. That gives me two options.

I played a lot on Juicy Stakes poker last year, but not at all in the last three months. The Holdem Manager HUD is "broken" (their word) because Juicy Stakes has made some changes with which HM has not yet caught up.

There is a new casino poker room within about 65 miles of my house, which gives me option three. I don't really want to drive that far and we're a one-car family, but at least it's an option. The room has opened very recently and I haven't had a chance to check it out, but at least I have multiple options now.

I suspect some accounts are bots but I usually like to see supportive data first. so anybody playing a solid game is a bot now?

Use windows when you play poker or get a PC. Otherwise you will have these problems.

This is kinda shady now they are unliquidating all the $2650 tickets, plus they are going to lose way more on freerolls and satties because regs wont buyin since there is no tourney to play. Satties overlay anyway now it will be even worse. I am hoping they will give tourney bucks for tickets but not sure.

Ya I tried the Parallels trial on my mac for a while and it seemed to work well. I play mostly on Carbon though and that would make it tough to play across multiple sites at once. Maybe it's worth getting a dedicated PC laptop IDK

Do you guys realize there is no tournament you are happy about structures to the tourney in July? I got a $2650 ticket I cant use, that I put a decent amount of cash on buyins into and the field will be 4 or 5X as big so more variance.

You have a ticket to a 1 million guaranteed tourney that has now been turned into a 5 million guaranteed and you still find a way to complain. You are a clown.

Yes, it would be helpful for those players but it could fundamentally change tournament endgame strategy.

Well I cant play for 7 months I wanted to play next week. Also was hoping on winning a ticket once a month or so but now the freerolls and satties dont seem to provide much value if there is no tourney to play. What if they made the 5 million trny 7 years from now would that be ok too?

I feel like they should give us TB for tickets won before today if they do not run a venom by the end of the month.

I said "Thanks" for WPN turning the steps back to the old TIME format. The old TIME format wasn't the problem, it was that you potentially were automatically registered for step after step since the old AWARDED TICKET format didn't send awarded tickets to your ticket manager.

If they have indeed also changed something like the frequency of Venom the gooseheads at WPN have once again screwed up by changing too many variables at once.

What is the downside to having a $2650 ticket now for months out and being able to freeroll up another couple in the meantime? An extra $7,950 in TB, for three more seats, isn't the worst thing that could happen to me. It's pretty easy to make it into $200 level from a freeroll.

If they are doing tourney bucks that would be awesome. Is it confirmed that you get $2650 Tourney Bucks or is it multiple tickets to a very specific tournament that is 222 days from now?

I've played through the Steps and Saturday $600 and had multiple tickets for those at any given time and the second+ ticket won in those were tickets that would accumulate in my ticket manger NOT tourney bucks. I've only ever had one $2650 at a time so I'm asking if the old or even new way is to award $2650 Tourney Bucks on the multiple step/sat wins?

I dont think you get tourney bucks for having multiple and there is possibly only one venom in the next year as of right now.
