I also got an MTT ticket. I have signed up through Pokcas website several months ago so maybe that had an impact (their players sometimes get free stuff), no idea. Was this a public or a private promo?

Client closed all windows with no warning and when i re-opened the client i am stuck at configuring...

Yeah, I literally never have any of these connections issues I see reported here so often.

I do wonder, however, why I consistently have to wait up to 36 hours to withdraw my rakeback.

I finally got a fix that worked for me.

So I run Kaspersky Web Security/Firewall Protection, and somehow the BCP client ended up on a new 'untrusted applications' list; making it impossible to open while my web security software is running.

I simply paused all Kaspersky protection, and attempted to run the poker client, which worked seamlessly. I've since gone into Kaspersky's 'Application Management' section, and changed Black Chip Poker from 'Untrusted' to a 'Trusted Application'

Same goes for Norton, when they do updates a lot of the time it causes Norton to flag the client and remove it. Once you click Allow and restore should be good to go. Had to do this when I logged on today.

this worked for me but I had previously called them to give them my IP address, version 6.

Since last night, nobody picks up the phone @ WPN. I'm using the # on BlackChipPoker's page and no matter how long I wait, the hold music never ends.

Just tried their email support and also live chat, as well. Neither work. I guess the statement "24/7 support!!" isn't quite true.

I used the live chat from BCP's web page earlier, it has like 4 lines with things written oddly that tell you what you need to put into those lines. Things like email, name, that sort of thing. It was very strange how it appeared, but after I noticed it, and I filled in those lines, I got a rep pretty quickly. Not that he was any help, but he was there.

I saw the same 4 boxes but when I tried to "slide the arrow right" to open the chat, it wouldn't budge, letting me know that the feature was currently "locked". They're still not answering their phone, either.

- I was wrong. The email contact is what's listed as locked. The contact a live rep feature is working for me now but nobody has responded in several minutes. As said, the phone number is still a dead end, too.

It's not the end of the world but this is the first time I've been unable to contact someone for this long in about 6 years on the site now.

I finally got a rep on live chat: He confirmed that the recent free money to hit certain accounts is specifically designated to inactive accounts as a method to bring them back to the tables. So yes: They're rewarding people who don't pay rake here but not those who do.

As for the phone number: He insists that there's been nothing wrong with it during the past 24 hours and there is nothing wrong with it now. Still, nobody answers.

Just wanted to clear all of this up.

Yes, my email said something about them missing me, so they gave me a $44 mtt ticket that I'll never use.

This underlines my point: In some cases, players have been away so long they're not even going to know they received the money. Yet players who are on the site daily receive nothing? I just think this was an especially bad "promo".

Just to clear up a couple of points -

1 - The 'free money' is a reactivation - it is very normal that every site does this one way or another
2 - The phones - We do have the phones, there are a few issues right now with them as we have just relocated. I would suggest live chat for now for the fastest response, if you do call, you may not hear them or they may not hear you.

They do this more frequently than not. I pretty much only play on ACR but check BCP every once in a while and there have been numerous times where I'll have money or tickets in there.
