Apparently I qualified two weeks in a row for the $55 SIT N CRUSH BEAST tourney by finishing in the top 10 of the freerolls for the week. I emailed support and they said they didn't have any record of me playing those, let alone finishing in the top 10. Beware, if you do make the top 10, you are automatically registered for the tourney and you get no notice if you even made it! BTW, the tourneys are very soft.

LOL that's ****ing ******ed. Winning TD can you make it so people know they are registered for a tourney? Seems like WPN is gonna end up with tons of people sitting out cuz they don't know they are registered, I can see why that tourney would be soft with so many sitting out lol.

It's not the same skill set. Just because you beat online doesn't mean you will beat live, but you have a much higher likely to. The opposite way doesn't really occur though.

WTF? anyone seen this before?

yes just checked and the HH has an error in my PT4 Database too.

heres the rest of the proof of hand being awarded incorrectly to me:

the replayer/HH is obv glitched so heres a screenshot of the next hand, clearly showing I doubled up:

well I've been playing a decade and this is just unacceptable type of glitch to be happening on a site where people are playing for real money.
I've literally never seen it before on ANY OTHER SITE in 10+ years of online poker. I honestly thought I was crazy, I swear its happened before when, like you, I was running a ton of tables at same time and merely shrugged it off as a brain fart.

i know **** happens etc, but this is the exact kind of thing that makes me not trust WPN and question their competence and business model. this isn't some silly bug, this is very concerning especially if it's been going on for years without being addressed by WPN.

for the first 15 minutes I was the only active player at my table. then for the next 10 minutes I played "heads up" against a horrible player who sat to my direct right. It was funny.

I was going to join the $20 5k GTD that started at 630am EST, but then I realized it has 5 hours of late registration.

EDIT: And this blind structure goes way beyond milking.
Level 16-25 is
225/450
250/500
275/550
300/600
325/650
350/700
375/750
400/800
450/900
500/1000

Then after level 25 when late registration is over it goes to normal blind jumps. This is why I can't and refuse to play MTTs even though I love them.

I'd rather play a 1k GTD with 1 hour late registration.

What percentage of mtt players prefer the 5 hour late reg for tournaments as oppose to say 3 hours of late reg? Even 3 hours for late reg is pretty long. So to be itm in those 5 hour late reg mtt, on average its like 6.5 hours to be itm right? I played a few of the mtt at wpn and usually bust early because i reg early and it takes forever for the tournament to play due to the slow structures

I mean 3 hour late reg isn't that bad. But why not 2 hour late reg like stars and being itm after say 3 hours? Of course if its a bigger tournaments with bigger gtd, 4 hours or a bit more to be itm is of course fine. But when it take 6.5 hours to be itm, im curious how do you guys have patience when you could play 5 hours and then bust and not even make the money. The only thing that would compare to these tournaments just a bit are those deepstack tournaments on partypoker but even though don't take 6.5 hours to be itm. Well i think some use to but then they changed it. Also i dont want this to turn into a strategy question but is there really a point of regging these mtt early that have the 5 hour late reg? The 3 hour late reg well yes you should reg early. But i can't find it wise to play these at the start even though as most of you know, early on is when there are lot of bad players.

Also to those of you who have access to wpn and stars/partypoker etc... do you guys think wpn is even worth it with those 5 hour late reg? Even 3 hour late reg is pretty long. Wpn does have some nice gtds for certain tournaments but that 5 hour late reg just really turns me off. Im sure other players would be fine if their guarantees got lowered and they made it at most 3 hour late... do most of you agree?

^^^ Why not just say that you don't like the current length of late reg instead of asking 3 or 4 times in one post if others like it or not?

I don't play many tourneys because of it but I could see how many players could at least tolerate it if not flat out like it because it allows larger guarantees to exist.

Do the tournament schedules just blow now? I mostly played on other sites now and have come back so I can add more tournaments and there just doesn't seem to be ****

I play almost every $5-$20 and also add in up to $30 deep stacked structures and any of the $2/$3 that have a high gtd

But if someone was to only play on WPN it seems like it'd be impossible to get a good volume in.

Not sure if anyone else would, but I'd like to see them even add tournaments with no guaranteed prize pool or very small GTD's just to get more tournaments running.

Also to note every tournament today comfortably beat the GTD as far as I know.

I dont play MTTs due to the late registrations but I've looked at the MTT schedule every now and then and it does seem much more worse than in the past.

Full disclosure: I no longer play on this site because of the frequency of lagging and crashing. I consider it unplayable at this time.

That said, I wasn't just OK with playing with five hours of late registration, I preferred it. I really want to get back on ACR. I prefer long and deepstacked tournaments, in fact, I specialize in them, both online and live, for the following reasons.

1. I am a full-time poker player so how long it runs is not an issue.

2. Guarantees.

3. A lot of players will register late. If they register late they start with a smaller stack, which means I'll usually be playing against them with an edge. I understand that just a couple big hands can be crucial and I make it my job to never miss a hand.

4. If players register on time, that's a lot of hours in which to get tired, or get drunk, or to fade for some other reason. I've planned for this, often including a nap before a long tournament (many of my live tournaments take over six hours to win) giving me an edge against the fading players.

Somebody has to win it, that's how I see it....if it's not you it's because of you and your lack of patience...or ambition...or motivation...whatever it is who cares. I play whatever because I want to win

I'd play so many more tourneys if they were shorter. No way in hell I'm sitting for 5+ hours unless it's a big sunday type of tourney.

Came here to see if it was just me or not. Awesome, twice now in two months I've looked forward to a sunday when I haven't been able to play for a long span and the system is crashed. Anywhere else with decent tourney's that I can play from Idaho? BetOnline has zero in respect to tournaments really. Is ignition any good?
