[QUOTE=kahntrutahn;54004276]They do not openly allow bots.

I submitted a full report to them two weeks ago about bots at HU PLO. They acknowledged it, but the bots are still there. Seems like the do to me...

This site has the hardest bonus to earn I've ever encountered, counts by rake contribution and on mid-to large pots, up to like 1/3 of the rake doesn't count as it goes to promotions that only benefit pro multi-tablers. Not that big of a deal, I don't care that much about bonuses, but it makes the rakeback benefit much less enticing when it works more out to like 20% contributed.

Not enough limit action is my biggest issue with the site, you often have to play headsup and get eaten alive by rake to get anything going in o8 or lhe. I cashed out for now (bitcoin was quick after a bit of a headache with verification). Dealt rakeback with no promo dollars would probably get me playing again though.

I don't believe any site openly advertises that they allow bots. Regardless, how many bots are currently active and how good of a job WPN is currently doing at preventing and removing bots is what people need to know. The security and amount of cheaters/bots are important considerations when deciding where to play. Historically WPN has been very poor when it comes to both prevention and removal. Right or wrong this poor security is what leads people to believe WPN has allowed bots. Whether it is ignorance, incompetence or WPN being complicit I don't think anyone but an insider could know for sure.

If I could play on Bovada I wouldn't play much at ACR except for PLO or maybe games other than NLHE, at least for cash games. I hear the tourneys are pretty soft. NL cash has so many 24 tabling grinders and bots that it's a pain to play.

Not sure if everybody knows about this, as it isnt written anywhere in the cashier:
On Pokerking you can only withdraw once a month for free.
Afterwards they charge you 5% no cap! They even took too much from my withdrawal last month so make sure to check your cashier history guys!

Is the player pool at ACR NL50 more passive or aggressive, and how are they vs aggression generally?

Okay. I got a fast payout from ACR. $200 check in less than two weeks. HOWEVER, I'm in the US and the check was from a Canadian bank! When I cashed it at Bank of America, I was only given about $147 due to the EXCHANGE RATE!!! WTF?!?!?! So I lost $53 on this cashout!!!!

So was it in another currency or is that some kind of transaction fee? What currency does Canada use?

This has been the situation for cashouts in US ever since Black Friday. Its illegal for US Banks to process payouts so your check is going to come from another country, usually Canada.

Then when you take the Canadian check to your bank, they have to send it to their collections department to verify that its all legit and there is usually flat fees associated with that.

My advice is to use Crypto to easily move money between your bank account and poker site or if you insist on a check, make the withdrawal as large as possible so the fees dont take suck a large %.

People complain about the bots and its definitely an annoyance, but I've cracked the bots plenty of times and had my fair share of wins off of them. When I play, my main concern is being able to access the funds that are rightfully mine. All sites on WPN have never let me down with that. If you're coming from Ignition, that was never an issue to begin with anyways. But yeah, bots bots bots. They suck, and the river card seems to always conveniently be in the bots favor lol.

Strange, when I used to cash out on Bovada, I'd also receive checks from Canada, however it would always say it was being paid in US DOLLARS. Hopefully this wasn't an error on the banks part for overlooking that.

See if the check was in US funds, most are. It could be a bank error

^^This. In 8 years of receiving checks, they were all in U.S. funds drawn on a N.Y. branch of a Canadian bank.

If they wanted to get rid of BOTS then they could do it in a day. Just change the Way Cards and Chips are graphically displayed with a new patch. Most BOTS rely on Screen scrape tech to run.

I would love to see how much traffic plummets if they did this.
Of course they won't because more BOTS equals more rake.

It is such an easy thing to change Graphics. Since WPN does not do this regularly then Yes WPN is "openly allowing BOTS" especially since it is generally known that BOTS are rampant at WPN.

My opinion is that it is a Bad business model.
It is BOT-Battle to see who can build the better BOT algorithm.
What rec players come get chewed up and never come back.
Keep the Games legit and Rec players would flock to WPN.
It would have tens of thousands of players instead of the maybe couple thousand on a good day.

I just consolidated all my WPN $ onto one site and am going to be playing some $5NL 6max.

Is there a list of all the suspected bot accounts at these micro stakes? It would be good to have this information in advance.

You are not going to get huge hand histories on players since BOT players will change accounts very frequently.

Years ago I literally had hand histories in the thousands on multiple players.
On WPN these days you will only have the Hand Histories for a few days at most on a player.

If you do happen to have several hundred hand history on a player you will be lucky, and you can pretty much be sure that he is a Live Player.

Most tables you sit at you will have no Hand Histories because the BOT Operators don't let hands pile up on a single account for long before closing it.

Just check the location. If he's from Ukraine, Belarus or Russia chances are 90% he's a bot.

This is wrong. From 50nl-200nl 6max-9max games it the same 150 players tons of hh on all of them, Maybe below 50nl, but at the midstakes its the same people day in day out. Some players might alternate every other week between 2 accounts for rake race reasons doing it weekly, but not even that much of that is going on in the NL cash games. I dont think the bots are as rampant as people say they are in the NL cash games, but maybe im wrong.
