I can login but after that I am unable to click any tabs or tables.

EDIT: Nevermind it's all good now but the tourney schedule is ****. All the good mtt's for the evening were cancelled.

Dafuq. I was signed up for the Big 10 $12500 gtd at 6pm EST and was actually able to get the game up on screen, an hour and 45 minutes after it started, with a full 5k starting stack. There were a few active players at the table. I was there for one hand before they ran a notice in the lobby that the tourney was cancelled and kicked me out. I better get a refund. I couldn't go to my account to check.

Edit: I got back in. Confirmed refunded.

I really don't understand (and I'm not alone) why you guys continue to try and play here every night with the network being as unstable as it is.

To be fair, the disconnects have decreased by a lot since they were happening every day. And the site continues to pay out in a quick fashion.

The only frustrating thing is when you’ve built a stack during late reg and the tourney cancels. If you can get past late reg, it’s not a huge deal.

Although, I can’t speak much for the cash players. I’ve read timing out in the middle of a hand can be bad.

Just a testament to how bad the poker climate is in the USA.

This network has the best MTTs available to Amerians period, if I am not mistaken, that is why we keep coming back. And the fact that, like tarheels mentioned, the disconnections have been far less frequent, although still very much happening on a consistent basis.

As I said before...the initial wave of these brought us to a pretty "meh" point for a while where GTDs went down....they cannot afford for it to level down again from the constant issues returning. That will truly be the end for many of us I would imagine. They need to get their **** together once and for all better than they have managed to thus far, especially with this upcoming BOSS series.

Again, I'm trying to be fair and blame some of this on the fact that it's summer but I've been around the game for a handful of years and this summer is the worst I've seen. The population on these servers is nill late at night and table selection (cash games, obv) is a total non factor. We have WPN here, which we see where it's problems lies. Bovada/Ignition = anonymous and doesn't have a gaming license. No rakeback. BetOnline? You can't even find a 25NL+ 6max running sometimes after midnight. Horizon? It's literally empty. No games. Global? LOL.

With that being the case, I am beyond disenchanted and feel like I would be wasting my time and being less than shrewd if I was to deposit on one of these sites and play again. There just isn't the market for this that there once was and as I've mentioned in other threads: I'm lucky in that I learned how to play Chess really young and picked it back up around the time I started playing poker. Believe it or not, the world of online chess has made a better transition to this extremely electronic/AI based world we're in far better than the world of online poker. Bot/cheat detection is light years ahead of what we have here and the game (globally) is massively more popular.

Still, I have a daily itch to play poker and would almost definitely have settled right into this for the long haul if there was a legitimate, regulated (by anyone), populated market to play the game in. Right now, there isn't.

I have a grand or so sitting in my blockchain right now and every day I contemplate making a deposit and playing again but when I come and view the forums, or take a few hands on WPN (where I still have a few $'s), I see that I'm perhaps just being stubborn and hoping things improve when there's no evidence that they will and only evidence to the contrary.

I think you are right that summer takes a good chunk away. But I would think that with the WSOP events airing on TV after the summer, as well as just holidays time off, and the WSOP players who return to the online pools...the fall has to typically be the highest rate of usage in the US, even in this barren climate? I wonder if that was also the case during the poker boom...? Or if there's any truth to it at all lol I am just speculating.

Each year prior to this one I've seen the games get much, much better as soon as mid August came around. Once the colleges get going and then September comes around, it's a totally different ballgame. Hopefully this year is no different in that regard.

Weird. played about 350 hands tonight. QQ=QQ twice AIPF. Can't remember that ever happening in the last 3 months with any pair let alone the same one twice in that span.

also, ridiculous is considered a bad word in the chat at ACR, if anyone cares

Agreed.

I like having multiple options. My plan for this year was to build decent bankrolls on ACR and Juicy Stakes Poker, while setting some aside for a live tournament bankroll. I was going to take some off of JSP once that bankroll was up to $650 and add it to the small amount that I have on ACR.

My bankroll on JSP is now about $900 and I'm still waiting for it to be safe to play or deposit on here. My definition of safe is a week without multiple lagging and freezeout reports. Until we have state-regulated poker in Michigan (probably late this year*) it looks like I'll have to settle for live tournaments and Juicy Stakes Poker as options.

Now that Doyle has retired, maybe ACR should retire the software that is his namesake as well.

I just put a small amount on ACR to test it. I'm sitting right now at a table with a player by the name of "just_chillout", and it is absolutely a bot. After a few hands of playing another bot calls "_snatch_", I noticed some patterns in his play.

I'm not saying that I am an expert player by any stretch, but I figured out some patterns that I can exploit.

However, the bot is sitting out. When I call time on him, he immediately sits back in then times out..over and over again.

Anyone else play against these two bots yet? Just curious.

I know that here is obviously an issue with this on ACR, but there is no doubt that these two are not real people.

As long as you use a middle/buffer wallet between Coinbase and ACR and vice versa. Blockchain, Mycelium, and Electrum are some of the popular personal wallets to use. Wouldn't want your Coinbase account closed for sending/receiving funds to/from a gambling site.

Blockchain is your own personal wallet. You control everything. Takes less than an hour to be up and running.
