@ ACR Rep Not sure if this question was asked already but can you use those pre-paid visa cards in order to make a deposit?
Thanks

Bonuses such as Free Parking and the FDB are deducted from the gross revenue and that is also common on most poker sites as well, Full Tilt was the godfather of deductions for example.

Received the debit card today. Haven't tried it out yet. It seems that it takes a little while (few weeks, perhaps) and when you're approved they just send it; you get no notification or anything. It was sent by UPS as noted.

I'm a bit confused, does that mean the free parking promo doesn't work for players with rakeback?

No, you are eligible for it but the bonus $ will be deducted from your gross revenue, Rakeback is calculated from your net revenue (gross rev - deductions, fees etc.).

I saw it too. I was shocked as well...That commercial made me come here to do some research about the room to see if it is safe to deposit in it. I want to play poker online so bad for real money, but I don't feel safe.

Guess I gotta wait till it gets regulated.

Why? It's perfectly legal to advertize a non-gambling (play money) poker site. If your point is it puts them in the DOJ's crosshairs, then that's valid, but a site like this isn't worth the man hours to take them down. Stars, Tilt and UB had the cash behind them to make it worthwhile.

That said, I'm not suggesting this site (or any US facing site) is safe to play on. Anything happening is within reason in this climate - from site security/safety issues to possible DOJ involvement; that is to say, it makes much more sense for the DOJ to seize a processor than to try to coordinate a massive strike against any particular site.

A seized processor takes a fraction of the man work and cost, and they get a slam-dunk UIGEA and bank fraud conviction against the owner of the processor. Since this has yet to happen, we can only speculate on how any site would handle such actions; with Stars and Tilt, it was nearly an annual event for them.

The problem is you may be waiting a very long time for this. It is unclear whether the recent DOJ decision will help a federal bill, but it is clear that it will help legislative measures at the state level. However, once a few states pass online poker, it's going to make federal regulation less likely to materialize (IMO) - it will just be left as a matter for individual states to decide.

That will be pretty terrible for the player pool, unless some type of interstate compacts can be negotiated, which I understand will be very difficult achieve. That said, it looks like NV will be the first state to get it up and running, and I'm going to snap move to Vegas when they do.

Everyone here needs to visit the legislation forum to find out what they can do to help make federal legislation attempts successful.

I had an even worse one. Playing 25NL, a guy who had just gotten near-felted the previous hand, UTG raised from .25 to $2.35.

I woke up with K K and min-raised -- to 2.60. How is that even possible?

Do you by any chance have the hand number saved? If so, please forward it to the ACR Rep or post it here for further investigation, as this is definitely not supposed to happen.

No, I don't. I wish I did. I will record it if it happens again.

Hi all. I'm thinking about trying AC...I play on Minted now, and getting kind of frustrated with a few things over there. Can anyone give me a quick rundown of best deposit/withdrawal methods for US players and general opinion of the site? Everything sounds good, but I haven't seen very much specific info on cashout times, etc. Is Western Union available? Thanks much......

The cashout methods are:

I'm not going to tell you to play anywhere, but why not open a small account for an amount you don't care about? I'm going to give ACR a shot because it seems like they are putting up the middle finger to the U.S. Gov. in HD.

This point was mentioned before, but looked to be skipped over.

The saved filters are not working properly. Boxes need to be checked and unchecked in order to affect the fields shown in the lobby. In effect it was half as much work in the past when filters did not "save". I think its great to have filters save, but of course only if they work properly.

Thanks.

Also, does anyone know how to interpret the player stats in the reports section. There are HU Rank, MTT Rank and SNG Rank I believe... what exactly do they mean. I notice that if you get a financial history of games played, each has a rank number associated with it, but I can't make heads or tails of how these things work.

On a related note, has ACR considered a tourney leader board (similar to PS)? just kind of for fun to know how you are stacking up against the competition on a given month.

Thanks again.
