For sure, these full ring games are ridiculously soft, if you cant make money here I dont know where you can

WPN used to be as soft as Bovada. These days? A rake-trap nitfest. Sigh.

There are days when I'll get lucky and find some good tables and be able to make a pretty good profit that night, but on a typical day I'm not making much at 25 and 50 NL. I went over my stats recently and my win rate has declined by ~65% (!!) since they launched The Beast! Absolutely terrible...

That is the US market and unfortunately if you do not wanna move then this is what you are left with. WPN has the best cashouts and feels pretty trustworthy and they have also added things that are bad for the games like the beast which bring over tight grinders playing a ton of tables. If you are only playing 25nl/50nl I guarantee you that there are at minimum 5-6 tables going during peak time that have at least 2-3 fish at the table. I'm also assuming if you are playing that low that you do not play for a living. It may not be as nice as stars or ft but imo you should be happy that you even have this option because it could be even worse right now in the US.

For the record, the Omaha games are still extremely fishy. Like, open cash register fishy.

Weird problem... I can't seem to register for any tournements tonight (mtt's OR sng's). They are going on - I can open the lobby but when I try to click "register" nothing happens?? I have played a LOT of tournys so this is just a problem tonight?

Note: I've had no problem sitting at cash tables either. This just seems to be some kind of glitch?

Anyone else experiencing similar problems? I'm going to get in touch with support -but probably just reboot (again) and see if problem still exists in the morning. Sure hope I can get it cleared up before 7pm(est) for $50k.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Also true. I've played them some and seen some amazing games going at 1/2 and 2/4 at least. Don't know about higher. And there are honestly still some very very good nlhe games that go on the site. It just isn't 2005 and we don't have millions of players so you need to work hard to search out and sit in soft games.

Well, the depressing thing that I think people are upset about is that the NHLE games on ACR were very fishy before the Beast showed up, and now they are far less so.

this was naturally going to happen with or without the beast though. there's like 3 sites you can play on in the US. regs were naturally going to move over as they discovered the softness of the games.

kinda confusing with all the different skins

pretty much unless you wanna get risky and vpn sites like party or something and hope they don't catch you. and wpn is really the only site where you can get your money in a reasonable time frame.

Yeah man, I see what you're saying and I think you'rte right, it probably was inevitable in the long term. But introducing The Beast and BCP coming over giving a traffic boost sped up that process by like 10x. Even with fishy games and fast cashouts there are still grinders that will refuse to play on networks with low traffic. I remember Everleaf was fast cashouts and RIDICULOUSLY soft games...like free money good, I was winning for like 15bb/100+. I repeatedly recommended this network to my friends, but I don't think even one ended up playing there. My point I guess is now that BCP is here and everyone is talking about what a nice traffic boost it has brought and how WPN is now on the rise, this is creating a snowball effect that will only make things worse as time goes on.

I think I'm probably just gonna play here through the end of the month, collect my Beast money and cashout, and then go back to Revolution. You're right, I don't play professionally, so if I have to wait 2 months for a cashout it's really no big deal, I don't need that money to pay the rent. For others that did play on here professionally I feel very bad for them, and I hope they can still make ends meet now that the games are pretty terrible during the week.

EDIT: Actually, with the OSS next month, the cash games might be better, I might stick around for one more month.

One great thing about WPN is that they are bringing new people in without giving out ridiculous deals.

Skins like Everleaf did those rake free games, Merge skins were giving double or more what WPN has given while steadily growing and Revolution... well jesus the types of stuff they were giving away for awhile was downright scary for anyone that had funds there.

So it's important to keep in mind that WPN is doing all this growing without having to give away the house, so to speak, to regulars and grinders. I think you'll see a much better ecology the way they do things (at least judging based on what they've done in 2012). Sustained growth might be a good word to use.

Can I sign up on ACR and have my friend transfer me money right away? Or do I need to go through the verification process first to deposit or receive/send transfers?

They can send you money, but it might take a bit longer than usual.

Is it possible to get set up with rakeback if I didn't initially sign up through a rakeback affiliate? I am having pretty good success so far, after giving it an initial try a few weeks ago, and am now putting in enough volume that I could definitely benefit from rakeback. So is it possible to get set up with rakeback if you are an existing customer? Also, does rakeback affect the earning of Combat Points/Bonuses at all? Any help appreciated. Btw- so far, im liking this network. The games are scarce, but the action is fairly soft and ive turned a $100 deposit into over 2k in about a week and a half. But it could also just be the typical "new deposit run like god" syndrome.....

I would ask ACR support via the online chat. I signed up directly and I started getting the rakeback every wednesday, so I think it must just be an automatic thing they do. I didn't sign up for it or anything.

Are you certain about your answer? The ACR rep told me differently barely a month ago.

[11/12/2012 2:07:25 PM] Me: Do I have to be verified in order to receive P2P?
[11/12/2012 2:09:06 PM] ACR Rep: yes

Yes it is possible to get rakeback after the fact. However, you can only swap between Elite Benefits and Rakeback one time, thus you need to be sure of what you are doing here.

When one puts in a lot of volume, one is better off on the Elite Benefits program and not the Rakeback program. If one can achieve level 4 or greater, one earns more on Elite Benefits rather than the fixed 27% of the Rakeback Program.

I received a transfer couple weeks ago and I have yet to verify my account.

You need to be putting in some serious volume in order to make the Elite Benefits have a higher percentage rakeback, like $8000 monthly and up
