Having a non-kyc wallet that you control should be a must for anyone dealing with crypto regardless of whether they use it for poker or just to hodl. I use electrum on desktop and Edge for mobile. You don't need any personal info to create these wallets.
Use an exchange to get crypto but move it to a non-kyc wallet asap. Do not trust exchanges the same way you would trust your bank.
If you are seriously worried about anonymity then learn how to use monero(xmr). XMR is at this point and time completely untraceable.
Don’t trust him because it doesn’t matter the amount, only that it is flagged in their system. CB and CA took a long time to ban me, cmama warned me over 1 small few hundred dollar deposit directly to the site. It takes nothing but a few cents and a few extra minutes to use a wallet in between.
