The structure is the same as The Beast, with the spots paying 500, 250, 125, and 50 (as well as a $95 tournament ticket).
The thing is that, once the old 1250 regs get the needed points to secure a 500 spot, what are they gonna do? There’s no incentive for them to play, since SNGs have thin ROIs. They’re not going to keep playing because it kills their effective RB. Nothing changes for the regs that go for 500, and maybe the ones that go for 125 now get 250 instead. And you can take a look at the Stars SNG ecosystem to see an example of what happens when incentives are completely removed.
Yes, games will still run because the leaderboards are paying something out still, but they will run at a lower frequency. But the games run (and even more so at the higher stakes) because the top tier grinders are at the tables every day battling it out, and seeding the games for 8-12 hours. And because high stakes games feed a large portion of the pool (due to paying more rake), we’ll see an overall reduction in the total prize pool when those games run less. As a result, I’d expect to see much less high stakes games running during the week. I highly doubt there will be enough new players battling for 500 to make up the reduced volume of the previous 1250 regs.

So, if you're not a SnG player or a high volume cash game player is that jackpot rake you're paying essentially being xferred to high volume/skill players?
Spin players are also eligible for the SNC race. I'd see it as an extension to your rakeback. If you don't participate, you can get the default 27%. If you can place on the leaderboard (and there's a ton of spots, you don't necessarily have to go for the top spots), you'll get more effective rakeback.

Double points are for both early and late reg.
