Thanks for sharing. I assume you're posting that in this thread because you know of such evidence for WPN - care to share that too?

I time out of hands, sometimes I come back sometimes I don't. There are many times where it is my big blind and it just says that I disconnected from the server and times me out, and makes me wait til my big blind again. Other times I just magically lose connection to the server and this is often times when I am in a hand!!! I have tried everything!!

I own a nearly brand new lennovo PC, literally just purchased and it has Windows 10. I have a netgear nighthawk router and a high speed fiber optic internet. I have spoken to my internet service provider who told me there are NO CONNECTION ISSUES that they are aware of. After several complaints they even sent a tech to my house who completely reinstalled my internet and told me again, that there are zero connection issues and if there was, those issues could not possibly be from the ISP.

Any ideas?
Update: Still doesn't work properly. Still time out of hands, lose connection, seemingly at random. I have exhausted ALL troubleshooting steps, with three separate WPN agents who all assured me I would be good to go. This happens while playing both tournaments and cash games. It occurs when I am using my hud and when I am not using my hud. I've tried three different types of high speed internet (cable, dsl and fiber lol) at different locations.

Here is my concern. Now, according to WPN I need to be communicating with their IT support. But it's a "don't call us, we will call you" situation.

I guess I'll wait? This sucks so bad.

Not sure if this is the best thread for this kind of question but here goes-

Is there any way to get enhanced security on a wpn account? As someone that fairly recently started playing highstakes on the site, is there any 2fa/pin/enhanced login security offered?

There are plenty of highstakes regs that I'm sure keep 6figs on the site-seems sort of crazy there wouldn't be enhanced account security like stars/party have.

Decided to log into my BCP account which I haven’t logged into in 6 years. I notice I have 12,000 player points. Does this get me anything? Can’t seem to find an answer on BCP’s site. Do they have a store or cash bonuses or tourney tickets you can buy with these?

I went to reward tab and don’t see any way to cash them.

I can only click on sit n crush. Rakeback. Bonuses.

I’ve clicked through all 3 options and they lead me to a dead end. Someone help a newb out please. Thanks

When I switched to rakeback, I still had 2.89 player points that are just suspended there in limbo. If you switched to rakeback before cashing them in, you may have to switch back. 12,000 points is worth at least $120, depending on your rank level so hopefully they don't give you the shaft

I was obviously trolling in my first response, but have you tried your account on another computer? Preferably on the same network connection? If so, and there are no issues, then something is wrong with your laptop and it is not on WPNs end.

You can purchase bitcoin on coinbase but just need to use an intermediary wallet to deposit/withdrawal on gambling websites. You could purchase a hardware wallet such as trezor/ledger(recommended if you’re dealing with any substantial amount).

Are you able to do that without ACR asking for Bank/utility documents or is the verification just like a check withdrawal.

Don’t wanna say it too many times, but I’m 99% not verified (never sent any pics in, maybe they have some other way of verifying?) I’ve deposited with cards but mostly btc, always withdrawn with btc, (small amounts never more than 4figs). My experience and yours may differ though.

Edit - of course if they ask me I will have no issue with verifying.

FWI I have the same issues. I also have a new computer using windows 10. It also happened with my old computer using windows 7. I'm almost certain the issues are on their end. I notice when playing 8-10 SNG's at time that's when it usually happens.

That sounds more like a throttling issue I think. If it was server/network based it should affect a lot of players. Might want to get your bandwidth speed checked, up/down.

Why the need for an intermediary wallet? I use Coinbase Pro for BTC deposits/withdrawals and haven't had issues either way. Or is it another reason I shouldn't be doing this?

Some people on these boards have reported being been banned from coinbase for sending to/from gambling websites. IMHO it’s just better in general to avoid holding crypto on exchanges and control your own private keys when possible. As always do your own research with anything involving personal finances.

The need for an intermediary wallet is for U.S. residents. It may or may not apply outside of the U.S. depending on your locales' laws. However, it is against U.S. law for banks and other financial concerns to send/receive funds to/from gambling sites. Coinbase has closed accounts of folks they have determined were doing so. It could happen on one's 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, or 20th attempt. But it can and has happened.
