by the way for anyone that downloads freePHG intending to use it as a "current hand history" function via holdem manager and find it doesn't work/not importing hands then all you have to do to fix this is right click freePHG run as administrator *AND* right click party run as admin and boom it works

going to try http://www.tablescanturbo.com/ now

if party are reading this why don't you just make these simple changes urself?

I agree. It is understandable that the 100bb stacks dont want to play at the same tables as the 20bb stacks, but at least offer us our own 20-40bb tables!

Most people prefer 100bb poker, with 20bb buyins it severely limits the amount of interesting decisions you have to make in a hand and is generally more boring. While it's true if there was short and deeper tables you could choose just to play the 100bb ones, at higher stakes the player pool is smaller so splitting it in two would have an extremely adverse effect on game selection. There would be not enough fish to go round and not enough tables running. 1/2 - 3/6 used to have 20bb tables but they were got rid of a couple of months ago. The games are way better since then, and the large majority of people prefer it this way so it won't be changing any time soon.

The inactivity disconnection is annoying. Sometimes I log in early to register for a tournament..or I may have busted a tournament and am waiting for the next one to start...and I still have to reconnect. It's not like the tournament schedule is full and I can multi-table a lot of tourneys on Party. If I have to keep hearing that pop up and clicking reconnect...I'm just going to stay on other sites.

I dont know how people do on party, but on stars there's at least twice more action on 20bb cap tables than on standart ( in 5/10+ NLHE)
so maybe Party is loosing 2/3 of its possible highstakes action not offering the 20bb game.

The logic is good imo. Look for yourself, Stars has smth like 2:1 (20bb CAP:standart), FTP's CAP+shallow is at least as popular as 100bb+deep (i'd say 1.5:1 ratio). So why are you thinking that on Party there would be another picture?

Also there is tendency for more regular HU game on CAP tables than on 100bb. What would you say about that?

He is concluding that Party might triple the overall action if 20bb game would be added because Stars has divided its NLHE player pool with 2:1 ratio to shallow and full stack games.

Are you saying that if for example 91% of playerbase of some poker site would be playing in shallow tables, adding the same tables to Party would increase the traffic ten fold?

Well SNG:s are only half dead at party but it is far from good.
If people don't get to play as many tables a they like because of a devided playerbase. That may actually result in Partypoker losing the 100bb players they got to Stars...

I only just returned to Party and I have a question (stupid maybe, but whatever): Why does PartyPoker offer games as low as 2c/4c blinds for NL Holdem, but not for Pot Limit Omaha or PLO8? I don´t get it.

happened twice and now hav no disco protection

edit: the micro plo/plo8 rake is likely to kill the already small player base also
