So I thought I would give party a try and play in some of their freerolls, I guess I have to make a deposit first to play in freerolls? Never came across this before, this is cheap.

I am against rush for party and will be writing an email explaining my thoughts. If anyone else wants to co-sign please respond with +1 and a comment, I will message those people the email before it goes out so they approve.

Looking at it, even optimistically, the chances of you stopping Party creating a Rush variant have gotta be closer to impossible than slim

I have played on Party since Aug 07... just after the Americans were not allowed to play. But I have to love that since Black friday they have now switched all there new promotions completely away from EST.... I can't play any of Aprils new tourneys due to the time start (even if there is a late reg).
I still like the Canadian 20 PP special even though it went from a $750 guarantee + satty seat down to a $750 easy rake bonus and now it's a normal tourny setup (no problem with that) BUT WHY do I feel like I'm getting royal screwed.

I may only be a min-buy in tourny player... BWTF

And they try to spin this as a positive.

I also wonder how far these sites are going to let themselves dwindle away before they start to realize Odman-esque "screw the grinders" mentality is a losing proposition in modern games where 5.5/6 seats are filled by grinders or players who aspire to be grinders. Gambling on degenerates as the current sites are doing is, as always, a losing proposition in the long run.

Chat just told me it was not certain yet. Are you against it? Or better yet, does anyone think it's a good idea for Party to have ninja (rush) poker?

Zoom Poker is taking market share both within PokerStars and from other sites, so PartyPoker is being forced to also copy Rush Poker. For various reasons, recreational fish would rather lose playing Zoom Poker than switch to a softer site like Party.

Obviously I won't be linking the book or bits due to the policy on the two plus two site, but just wanted to let you all know I'm writing a book. And pumped about it!

My apologies if it's already been posted, but the Mac client has been updated to support SNGs but not Tournaments.

Are there any mtt players here who hit palladium level? I'm trying to decide whether to grab the gold level poker bonus or try for more, but palladium seems super tough playing only mtts. My calculations are kinda messed up though cuz I played almost every night in January and that was rake free so I'm not really sure where I'd be if I played the next few months that frequently.

should try for palladium, it's such a huge % rakeback drop missing it (30% bonuses down to 15%, no subpromos, less free bonuses, no free cashouts). ~20% drop

there's pokerfest mtt series this quarter, so you'll prob be grinding more over that period, taking shots at higher buyins, etc. could mix in some SNGs. just need 100 points/day.

you stay palladium for the entirety of the next quarter so then u can relax and hit the 20k points bonus at a leisurely pace, with 3 months of subpromos and free bonuses that usually come when u hit new VIP levels/palladium birthday bonus

It would be great if party would develop mtts for the mac client first - before they are doing this rush thing...
I was very excited to finally get a second playable site with a mac client just to find out that i cant play mtts.

Does anyone know the size of the playerpool from Bwin that party will gain when the pools merge?

Hopefully this happens before they release their laggy/buggy version of rush so they (hopefully) wont totally decimate the normal cash games.

I was on pace for the 1.5k per day 40 days out of 46 Gladiator promotion and today I got sent 4k because they said I attained the other lesser bonus. Does anyone know if this is normal? Should I email them or just keep doing my 1.5k points per day to attain the 15k package?
