Any tips to reduce the lagg when 10+ tabling. It's super annoying i can't play more than 12tables because of that.
I keep the lobby minimized, no software in the background that i don't need. No animations in party , settings are all good.
Any other tips ?

thx!

^Try switching to classic table view instead of modern.

In computer properties -->advanced system settings->performance check "adjust for best performance." Also check what other processes are running in task manager, Party really shouldn't be that laggy so make sure your memory and processor are not getting maxed out by something else.

in pgAdmin run a full analyze/vacuum on your DB, de-fragment the hard drive. check for dust around the fans and get it cleaned, try keeping the computer cooler by getting more fans (desktop) or simply elevating the back/buying a cooling dock (laptop).

not really sure, seems very strange that Party is still lagging that bad, what are the computers stats?

I don't get it. The BBJ tables may make the rake UNpossible, but they attract a massive amount of recs. What gives Party?

I think you answered your own question. How many "Recs" will totally switch switch poker brands simply because the jackpot tables are gone?

I guess I did. I level myself into thinking it'll be LAG wars like on Stars once the tables are gone. I figure the red in the lobby helps attract them too

I did all that , did the db analyze/vacuum not so long ago. It's prob my laptop that isn't good enough, but still i could easily 16 table cont on FT or 20 table on PS without any lagg.
My laptop stats;
i3 2.13Ghz
4GB ram
64bit windows 7

When playing 12 tables, my CPU was at 30-50% and RAM at 2GB +-

I use modern layout with tablemod, HEM and party ezcash in background, nothing else.

Thanks for helping so fast, much appreciated ! ;-)

Party just lags, nothing can make it comparable to stars/FT, there are dozens of posts about it ITT

but could also try reindexing DB, googling 'ccCleaner', 'HEM top 10 performance tips', make sure the folders HEM is autoimporting from have very small file sizes (archiving of old HHs set to min. time), and sit out/ctrl+alt+del hard quit client from task manager on toilet breaks, then restart party and your tables and waitlists will still be there and lag reduced (will lose in-client notes you made, so make those in HEM's notes instead). also at the same time you could close HEM, use the STOP functions under pgAdmin to stop DB, START again, and reopen

none of that removes party's inherent lag, but it can help your laptop keep up with it

your laptop is plenty fine, Party does not have an "inherent lag" for me at all 12 tabling on a laptop with comparable stats and a 30'' hooked up

something weird is going on... how long has it been since you completely reformatted and fresh installed windows?

ive never had any party lag. i 18 table and use HM and have tons of things opening. you probably just need a faster computer. i bought i super nice alienware a couple years ago which still is super fast. solid state HD is great for a poker database too.

Laptop is 1.5years old and I only use it for poker and internet, so it's very clean and only poker programs on it. Tried the gamebooster from IObit, ran at 10-25% CPU and 1.4GB RAM when 12 tabling last session. Still lagg, a bit better, but still not a nice smooth way too play.
It's probably the laptop that isn't fast enough. Now i know what to do

Thanks all !

Hey Party People, I'm new to this site after doing some search for my answer, and looks loaded with valuable info. Any way, I have never made a transfer or withdraw from my account, and I deposited via-Moneybookers. If I decided to make a player transfer or withdraw, will I run into any request for verification of ID of anysort? I just don't want to plan on having money or trading someone and run into any delays. If I do need to give them info, what do I need to get together? Thanks guys, I got more Rush Cards to grind out

The biggest gain you could ever have for a Poker computer (especially for one with a gigantic DB) is in chucking an SSD in. Or even better, having a fast SSD dedicated to your DB and OS. I've done this on my Mac and it flies. Best of luck.

I assume the inactivity popup is there to mess with dataminers but it should be removed as its annoying and it doesnt stop sites like ptr anyway.

assuming i play 30k hands a month at 25nl (5bb/100 winrate), would that be enough for palladium status?

Has anybody else found Game Booster to help with PartyPoker lags? I've tried so many things trying to stop the money-losing lags when 8+ tabling at PartyPoker with tracking software. In my case, the lag goes away when I stop the HUD. I often wonder if I would have made more money going HUD-less.

Yes, you need to be a "preferred member" or some BS, you'll need a copy of your national ID (passport, drivers licence, etc) and i think u also need a bill with your address wrote on it.
You can apply for the preferred member status without withdrawing/transferring.

I had failed attempts to manually import hands PT3 did not collect due to small connection lags in Party.

The problem was that the HH i had requested via email were not complete.

The players who have spaces in there names do not show in full at the top of the HH.

eg:

***** Hand History For Game 12345 *****
Texas Hold'em Game Table
Total number of players : 2/2
Seat 1: John ($120.79)
Seat 2: Hero ($101.5)
John Smith posts small blind (0.5)
Hero posts big blind (1.0)
** Dealing down cards **
.........
John Smith balance $126.24, bet $12, collected $17.45, net +$5.45
Hero balance $100.5, lost $1 (folded)

As you can see the first time the screen name is shown (in red) it has the 2nd part after the space left out. I had to enter the 2nd part of the name in the part which was missing

***** Hand History For Game 12345 *****
Texas Hold'em Game Table
Total number of players : 2/2
Seat 1: John Smith ($120.79)

It then worked, I have contacted party support regarding this issue.

Also interested if this does anything?
