folded quads today. playing 1-2 flhe and 3 bet from sb with k7s. flop a77, bet call, turn 7. was multitabling and accidentally hit the fold button. the box popped up and asked if i wanted to check or fold. Well since i wanted to do neither I tried to simply close the box and it folds my hand. What a joke piece of software. I don't understand why the number 2 site doesn't seem to even care about improving themselves. It's apparant why they are number 2 and losing players though. How long has this site been running. I'm guessing around 10 years or more. To have a terrible flaw in their software like this after all this time is inexcusable. Shame on you Party Poker.

I did all kinds of performance improvements with the help of PT3 Support, but PartyPoker still lags. I start losing money because of the lags so I'm forced to stop auto importing, then restart PartyPoker during the hourly break which is NOT synchronized so I miss some hands, but it starts lagging again in less than one hour before the next UNsynchronized break.

So even if one buys 16 GB RAM, SSD, 6-CPU supercomputer, Party will still lag with HEM/PT.

ya its sick

the best option is to have your laptop on your side and log on it so you can restart your main computer and reload party after

its kind a PITA but I think its the best way

Hrmmmmmm, anytime my party lags, I always assumed it was network and expected to see the health status page pop up. I'm going to play a session without auto import and see its the cause.

I think you should try turning off the HUD first while keeping the auto-import running. That will tell you whether it's a graphics problem or a site problem and besides, since PT keeps on improrting, it's easier to turn on back again.

If it's graphics btw, you should really look for a great video card.

That's complete BS. Your GFXcard isn't even touched when party/HM/PT is running. It's a memoryleak problem and to fix the lag just kill the partygaming.exe with your taskmanager and restart it. Your tables will be restored, lag will be gone and everything is fine.

Fwiw I can play for days without having to restart Party or PT3. No lag at all. I used to lag horribly with HEM but since I switched back to PT it's literally perfect. My machine isn't a beast. Phenom quad and 8gm ram. GPU is irrelevant.

I don't have one but an SSD might be recommended?

Since the rake distribution change last year, what are players views on how, if at all, the games have changed?

Are there less short stackers?
Are the games looser?
More fish/less regs?

Just wondering what peoples experiences are, if any, of the change?

Write to ur vip support. If party recieve more messages about this critical issue - maybe they will do something. Cause writing only here will not do any affect.

I have 5-6 mails conversation with party right now about it. Seems they r interested too in this issue.

The best option to restart ( minimum time) is to open Party Casino or BG together with poker. When poker freezes, "kill" it from task manager, then go to casino or BG lobby and just click on Poker. It will make a fast lunch of poker lobby without enterng login/pass/digi code.

It can save u some money if party freezes during the hand. It takes 10-15 seconds in my PC. Time bank is about 20 or 25 sec.

Why? Why? Why? do Partypoker start tournaments at 5 minutes to the hour?

They have been attempting to "synchronise tournament breaks" for over a year now.

One of their replies to my question re. them starting tournaments inconveniently at 5 to the hour contained:

Couple of tournaments might start at 55th minute of the hr but not all and we have several other tournaments staring at different times.
> Please understand that we don't create tournaments at that time on
> purpose.

What?

Comical, but not funny when 5 games go on break and another game is just starting.

Has anyone else emailed to complain?

I've been using a Goplay MasterCard issued via Party for a year and a half and it's been convenient until now. Recently I got this email when trying to fund it:

--------------------------
Dear xxxxxxxx,

We see that you have requested a cash out for CAD 100.00 through party mastercard but have made a deposit using your Moneybookers account. This is a matter of concern for us.

The PartyPoker.com cashier system is intended for gaming use only and its use for any other purposes is not permissible. We do not encourage players to use our cashier system to transfer funds from one financial instrument to another.

Therefore, we wish to inform you that, we would be able to approve the cash out if you could request the same through your Moneybookers account. This helps us maintain financial security on your account. Your current cash out stands cancelled.

Contact us anytime, we are available around the clock to assist you with your account related questions and suggestions.

Sincerely,

Rakesh

I've had this happen before when I tried to deposit via etf and then withdrawal through moneybookers (they even used to let that stuff slide until last august-oh well their loss, they get much less rake from me now) but they've always let me fund my mastercard no matter the deposit method until now. Is this a new policy? Is there another way to fund this card not using paypro? Does this essentially mean that I have to actually win money in order to fund it?

Do you actually play on Party or are you just depositing funds via whatever method and then withdrawing onto GoPlay?

I play off and on but have never experienced any problems depositing via w/e and withdrawing immediately to goplay until today.

hey guys,

its been happening a few times now, i am maybe 2000 hands into a session (2.5hours), and its about 14h in eastern timezone, so 19h in London, 20h in Paris.. whatever..

PP starts lagging as hell, I got too many tables to restart PP, and see if its me or if its PP? But it becomes pretty much unplayable at 9 tables+, so frustrating, so tilting,

So is it the network? Is it the fact Ive had PP open for too long (memory leak i read), ?

SHould i just quit after 2.5 hours and restart PP and restart a session 20minutes after?

thanks

From what I read around this forum, the rule in the industry is that you have to use a depositing method within the last (i think) 6 months to be able to withdraw with the same method. It may be that this period of 6 months just expired for your goplay card or maybe Party just adopted this policy if you never used it.

The policy makes sense to protect themselves from money laundering. FWIW, Stars is even more strict: you cannot withdraw for 48 hours after a deposit and if, for example, I deposit $100 with moneybookers and I want to withdraw $350 a week later, I am forced to withdraw the $100 back to moneybookers and I can only choose the destination of the rest $250.

Ye you have to withdraw to the e-wallet you used until you have withdrawn upto the amount you deposited. This is true for at least Moneybookers and Paypal tjhat I know of.

Turn off the 'embeded players' in the lobby (preferences). Once you start your session put the lobby on the preferences TAB and minimize it. See if that helps.
