You can dl hh, can't use a strd hud but you can use illegal hud both reg and ff games. Have no idea how mtts sngs works. FF games are filled with masstabling regs and bots reg games are soft.

Yes they disabled rakeback and any promotions 3 weeks ago and then last week they sent out an email telling me they were able to provide promotions again. And now this

Re: Ex-Official PartyPoker thread

Hi, not played on party for a while and am struggling with one of the settings. I have selected "Auto-rebuy to max" in the settings but I still need to tick the box whenever I go to a table other wise I fall below 100bb and don't top up. Any idea why that would be?

From the Party FAQ about a disconnect, "If the connection is disrupted on your side -- all “All-in” stakes will be lost." Bolded by me and inside the "--" are two examples, but they count for nothing.

Any comment?

It is pretty much certain that the games are not rigged or house bots. If you honestly think this is the case, then poker is something you shouldn't be playing on the internet.
i understand this. games are not rigged, or house bots. however, party poker official site shows us the number of bots they ban per month. atm it's like 1 per day on average. they are finding wayyyy less bots now, compared to 2019, . i think that has more to do with the bots getting better at hiding, rather than PP improving their software detection. their site is down now though so i can't remember numbers.

i am not a good poker player, despite my experience. i am also a gambler. i am getting better at controlling it, just like a drug user controls their drug.

however i have excelled in other areas not in poker, that can be transferred to poker - like outside life stuff. anyone can follow a good poker strat, but becoming a winning player is controlling the other stuff outside of poker too.

My game! on PP is pretty good for what it is. i think it just needs graphs. but My game has found the same leaks that poker tracker did for me in my pokers years ago.

i think even really good players struggle against bots, but that is not to say ppl still can't be winning players on the site. I am running a bit better, i'll see how i go for another 30k more hands.

yeah i played PLO for the first time this week and it doesn't feel like any bots play this. just not enough ppl play it. and i still prefer hold em. however, PLO is actually frecking cool i've found.

position matters so much more and high cards don't even matter much compared to hold em. its a game between straights, flushes, and full houses. pretty fun, and there are more bluff spots too.

going forward ill still play FF on PP hold em. i'll take breaks when i win. as when i win, i get that gambler rush and my judgmenet becomes clouded. i have had my biggest losses right after my biggest wins. and if i run bad, i will remember not to try and get "even" but just make decisions i know are right. i want to try and become a winning poker player rather that what i am now.

and also i wish they would bring that "Daily cash boom promotion" freerolls back, which ended yesterday. they were great, but i think it costs them too much money. the leaderboards are really only for the top % players, which i think some minority are bots

Re: Ex-Official PartyPoker thread

also for people who say they are getting refunded from Party Poker for bots, what do you mean?

Do you get a email from PP stating you are getting refunded due to bots?

as i have had my deposit money put back into my bank account, only for PP to take it back out again 5 or 6 days later. i am not sure if its a error on their end or my banks, but the funds still match up, which is the main thing. just is weird that the above happens sometimes

does anyone know how to have mouse over keybindings with Party poker tables?

i have f1,f2.f3 bound. i would like to use them while mousing over the table, rather than having to click the table with mouse before using the key bind.

Re: Ex-Official PartyPoker thread

So on the tourney tab, you see how they have the name of tourney, buyin, players, prize pool, nlh, registering/late reg etc.

I like to expand the name larger and buyin and players and prize pool to see more of it as oppose to it being squeezed. Thus the status, i don't really mind it squeezed in.

Yet everytime i open partypoker, it keeps going back to the default size? Is there a way to fix this? I want to be able to see the full buyin, players, prize value without it being squished in. The speed of fast, turbo, that is not a big deal. Is there a way to fix this?

Also, could you not include 6 max tournaments on the tourney lobby or you cannot filter that?

Did party decide to change mtt schedule yet again? All these new mtt they are putting up and old ones, they take a long time now to be itm and finish. Whose idea was this? I don't think there is any site out there that has tournament changes over and over again like party.

Re: Ex-Official PartyPoker thread

@Pauly, not sure if this will help;

but just tick 'Remember table arrangement' in settings>advanced

and for 6 max, i think you can just filter those on Sit and gos? but i play cash atm so not sure.

--

i would like a way to use keyboard hotkeys sent to the table that is under the mouse cursor. So, mouse over desired table and press keyboard f1,f2, or f3.. without having to click the table with the mouse before using keyboard hotkey.

i found stack and tile program to work, but wondering if i can do something free like Autohotkey script or something?

Since when are the Gladiator tournaments 8max instead of 6max? I swear to God this site is getting worse and worse.

I am fairly sure the top players were using illegal HUDS and (most likely) were bots. This was about playstyle rather than volume. They adapted much quicker to my play style and had some very different playstyles to any other site at similar stakes - either party poker 50 for some reason is the hardest pool on the internet, and harder than 100/200 on most sites, or some/most of the bigger winning accounts are bots. I have decided to believe they are bots, reported them and will not play those games anymore since I don't believe I can beat them post-rakeback.

I mainly play omaha, and have done much better in the omaha pools and don't believe them to be bot infested and think I can win pre-rakeback, and will be sticking to those games if I leaderboard grind.

I use HM4 and it tracks rake - the leaderboards also track rake - since one leaderboard point = $1 rake. You can look at the leaderboards when they end to work out how much you'd need to play to win each stake and how much rakeback you'd get (you need to pay over $1200 to get 40%, and most regs will have additional rakeback from other affiliates).

At the moment 591 has the 5nl won. Breaking 600 in rake would be 30% rakeback, and with the additional rakeback from affiliates you could get 45% rakeback and $500 from the leaderboard - so about $770-800 for winning the race. Unless those games are also bot infested it is likely the top players are small winners prerakeback.

I think for races, the top players are losing slightly pre-rakeback, due to heavy volume, not playing A game and having less focus/time for notes/reads. They (i assume) have decided the additional money from the races outweighs what they lose from playing.

For me, I tried to win an omaha leaderboard a couple of weeks ago - and half-way through the week got bored and gave up and came 5th. I won more playing 6 tables of FF with rakeback, leaderboard points than if i'd played reg tables with a much higher bb/100.

Reg tables are softer because the really weak players tend to play reg tables as that is what they are used to and it is slower (and they lose slower so get more play for their money). Also, most regs have decided that mass grinding ff gives a higher hourly so it leaves very soft reg tables. However, it will get a point where if you are playing enough volume, it might be correct to become one of the rakeback grinders at ff but only you can work out those numbers since it depends on your winrates at different games + volume.

There will be a handful of bumhunting good regs who only play regular tables and nearly everyone else will be a fish. At FF, you get a few fish, some awful regs, lots of meh-regs with plenty of easily fixed leaks but they clearly just play lots and never study, and then some really strong regs and potential bots.

If you want to improve and make money and work your way up, I would play regular tables. If you feel you are able to mass table for stupid amounts of hours per day while losing very little/not at all then play FF and leaderboard grind (playing with 65% rakeback and leaderboard points is really good). I would just warn you to be careful in the NLpools - but if you are winning in those games fair play.
I've just started playing on Party again and the PLO leaderboards caught my attention, mainly for PLO100 and PLO200. FF traffic seems a bit slow there at time, especially at 200. Wondering if it's worth going for it and being in for a lot of variance. How many hours daily and tables would it take in your opinion to have a good chance to make a run at it?

hurricanenick - play 6 tables for an hour and see how many points you get and compare to last weeks leaderboard to work it out. Different play styles will vary but I’d be shocked if any leaderboards are easily won (less than 10/12hr days)
