About the new FF change.
WTF first of all. It was done overnight, no email or information to player. Even on the site itself. My first impression was: ''its probably to bot control since they are not program to play equal SB and BB structure.'' But it just killed the action. Normally FF10 runs well.

Didn't play for a couple of days. Opened 5 FF tbls and after a couple minutes i noticed the blinds. Disgusting... Played for a few more minutes and was sitting out next BB on all tbls, when suddenly all FF tbls broke and there are none in the lobby. Hope this experiment is over.

In order to make any leaderboards for sngs, you basically have to play 6 max hypers right for like the medium and lower stakes? Thus playing 9 man sngs won't work right? Like the ppl who win the leaderboards at the sngs whether low medium or high all have to play a ton of 6 max hyper sngs and regular sngs right? Anyone have a clue how much volume the leaderboard players are playing in terms of how much sng a day?

Troll for sure. I am currently playing on both 888 and pp and 888 is a decade ahead software wise. Players leaving because chat cannot be seen in the smallest table mode at 888, lmao

Gg network had a button blind plus antes and the games were good to interesting and only the purists protested and seems they won, so games became aggro tight. Maybe you should think again what’s better.

At stars.es they tried 5-max at micro and the games became better but up to half of the players disappeared so 6-max was put back and the games became too nitty again.

Low to free rake sites not getting action, the idiot savants preferring to grind water out of stones. The quality of the games and the rake levels are whatever players want them to be and the current is the happy situation the players have worked years for.

People who liked the antes: wouldn't you like the antes to be there but the blinds be normal size (10/25, 25/50 and so on) instead of 10/10 or 25/25. The PLO50 pool was basicly playing as PLO30.

If 888 is your preferred site that's fine. As far as the players leaving I am not going to keep revisiting this but Im obviously paying more attention and it is at the lower stakes where its most visible to me as that's what I played and there was always multiple DON games running, between 5 and 10 at $1 with a steady decrease as you go up the levels. Now there is at even busy times only between 2-5 and games at $5 and above are only running at peak times.

I am visiting in NJ and decided to try to play online poker. I have the borgata poker app downloaded and I saw only 1 table of 2.50/5 running. A guy had $150.

I decided to deposit $150. I entered my debit card and did ONE deposit of $150. I did not double tap anything. There is no page to refresh. I didn’t exit or close the app.

I clicked the table and it loaded me $300. I 100% assumed perhaps a 100% match bonus? Idk.

Anyways I lost. I check my bank account... 2 deposits for $150. I have ONE email confirmation saying I made a $150 deposit. I immediately get on the phone and am told.... “if you clicked the arrow twice, it could charge you twice. We are not responsible for that. “

I asked for a supervisor and was told they will look into it.

I can’t even believe the incompetence of this software / team.

Hopefully they realize it was some bullshit error on their end, and refund me the $. I don’t give a **** that I lost it. I didn’t authorize it, nor did I put 2 amounts in.

Started playing again on PP after a two year break and would like to ask why am I not able to watch a cash game?

Also why are players nationalities not shown?

I like the game selection at $5 and I am happy they still have the Double up games with 1500 starting stack and good blind structure.

Has PP abandoned this thread and if so is there another way to resolve an issue without the lengthy delay from support?

Asked in the discord why they removed the ante's in the fast forward games. One of the guys who makes the descision responded with this. I'll post the response here:

We decided to add antes to NLH FF in the middle of Jan because as you say it makes the games a bit looser and more enjoyable. We then on Thursday 13th Feb for the same reason decided to make the games equal blinds with a 20% ante. Our intentions were good, we had consulted with top pros and some FF regulars and decided that tweaking the format in such a way would promote a more interesting game to be playing in.

Ultimately the negative feedback we received from players that day and the fear of reversing the progress we had made in getting our FF pools running regularly over the past few months meant the decision was made to return the games to their original format.

Since then quite a few players have raised the fact that they preferred FF NLH with antes. It seems to split opinion somewhat, we were criticised when we introduced them with some players accusing us of simply trying to increase rake, despite the fact the value in generating an extra 1BB/100 hands is completely dwarfed by player numbers.

Personally if i was still playing I would be in favour of antes particularly at FF where the game can become very tight. We will continue to assess the effect of having antes at FF, for the first time we now have a months worth of data on it :grin:.

But lessons learnt from this last experience, we won't change it midweek in the middle of a leader board race this time, that part wasn't so smart.
