Re: Ex-Official PartyPoker thread

The partypoker Wheel does not give an equal chance for each prize

I contacted partypoker asking if each sector on the partypoker Wheel has an equal chance of occurring, and if not, then what are the probabilities. Note that on https://poker.partypoker.com/en/prom...spin-the-wheel, it just says "By spinning the wheel, each Eligible Player will have a chance to win one of the following prizes at random". The customer service told me that the lower value prizes have a higher probability than the higher value prizes. However, they did not tell me what the probabilities are.

I have span the partypoker Wheel a total of 38 times, and here are my results:

Code:
1 Cashback Point 10
2 Cashback Points 10
$1 Cash 6
$3 Cash 1
$1 SNG SPINS Ticket 5
$3 SNG SPINS Ticket 1
$2.2 MTT Ticket 2
Casino Free Spins 3
----------------------------------
total 38
Using this data and assuming that the casino free spins is worth $2.7 (they are 10 spins on Book of Horus with each spin having 10 lines of $0.03), I solved an equation to get that the EV of spinning the partypoker Wheel one time would be $0.91.

I just thought that this would be useful information for some of you. I thought that each prize on the partypoker Wheel had an equal chance, and there would be no need for partypoker to 'rig' it because the EV of one spin would just be $1.4, but it turns out that partypoker 'rigs' it.

I think that it is a bit unethical for partypoker to have the graphic for the partypoker Wheel make it seem like each prize has an equal chance, and not state what the probabilities are on https://poker.partypoker.com/en/prom...spin-the-wheel.

Re: Ex-Official PartyPoker thread

Please pass on further comments to increase the stake cap on Heads up PLO. (capped at .5/1 and resumes at 25/50). The HU plo lobby has seen a large amount of action, regs are playing each other and there are a lot of new faces. Recreational players are given a good shot at playing lots of different opponents and I believe the system is working as intended.

It's unreasonable that plo players are left with this small cap of 100plo, when NLH players may sit midstakes and put less effort into playing each other. I would recommend adding one stake higher at a time and monitoring how the lobby runs.

Generally speaking up to 70% of the HUPLO tables are occupied at any given time. It's time to add the next stake level in.

Ah, I've never actually looked into the note system in HM. You have to download flash through actual totally never ever used internet explorer for the replayer to work but regardless it's a pointless pos not worth having anyway.

You guys seriously need to do something about the SNAP all cards smashed down on the deck, chips distributed, next hand dealt in half a nano second without even seeing wtf anyone even did or had, I mean jeeeeeeeeeeezus considering they had pads over there sorting some **** out this stuff is off the charts bad

Not a good idea considering the botting situation.

Removing or limiting game offerings is not an effective solution to combat botting, especially when unequally applied between game formats.

What issue do you have with the re-player?

There was previously an issue with the re-player not working for some and a pop-up message about needing to update flash but, my understanding is that it was fixed during the last update.

Def remove sngs too then, and 6 max cash. Tourneys seem botable too, so they should go. Lets make it all 15 handed random ring that's impossible to bot.

Sites should implement measures to detect and ban bots. Not remove entire game formats because it's easier.

Re: Ex-Official PartyPoker thread

By the way, partypoker added a table with the probabilities for the partypoker Wheel on https://poker.partypoker.com/en/prom...spin-the-wheel, so I guess they did that because of me.

Re: Ex-Official PartyPoker thread

The next happy hour is at 15cet, which is in 1 hr 39 min.
It does not say 17cet anywhere in the emails I got.

During happy hour, you can click on promotions in the client, then click on happy hour, and then check if you are getting points for the current happy hour.

Re: Ex-Official PartyPoker thread

When playing fast forward on the app, it seems to take forever to leave.

Sat out, pressed leave table and nothing happens. Logged out and back in and it still has me in the pool but sat out.

Anyone else getting this ?

does not look like normal table, layout, notes, seat, etc.
single table only
only hands you played yourselves (no railing)

Re: Ex-Official PartyPoker thread

Hi, I currently play 5NL zoom on stars. Looking to switch to party poker for better rake. Is it worth it?

Anyone know how many hands a week at these stakes would be required to clear 25 PP's?

Cheers

Re: Ex-Official PartyPoker thread

Anyone have issues logging in? When i log in, i get like the popup with your active promotions and few other things. But on top corner, still shows login and signup on top right in poker client. I click login and enter my information... same thing. I go to cash game and tournaments and cannot even sit or reg. However, i could go to my cashier and deposit or withdraw. Is this some kind of glitch or something?

It has taken more than 1 hour to download the latest update and I am not even close. Gets to about 43% downloaded and restarts, over and over. Tried a computer restart and same again.

I guess reps dont read this anymore but it would be nice if the 9m 55$ SNGS could be lowered to 44$. Nobody sits them currently.
