Software playing up again? Just closed and restarted twice in last 10 minutes here

Bit of an exaggeration perhaps?

I've seen a few cash game promo's pop-up during various weeks over recent months and sometimes there are even cash game promo's offered that run in conjunction with the MTT promo's your referring to.

The reality is that, PP do offer cash game promo's from "time to time", just not as many or as often as you would obviously like (based on your numerous posts about it).

Okay so these missions.


1. I notice you can only do 2 at once correct? If you want to do another one, pause the current ones?


2. These bonuses for missions like $5, $10, $25 etc... so these are not cash but a bonus? So how does rollover work to clear these bonuses? I ask this because i notice in some missions, you would get say $25 bonus and $5 cash. So obviously the cash there is no rollover?


3. In the sng mission, so any sng counts including spin and go or heads up? Also when they say win a hand with QQ at showdown for example... that means you have to win the hand where its shown down ... meaning example preflop all in and winning with QQ certainly counts. And getting to the river and either winning the hand by betting with QQ and getting called or calling with QQ on the river and winning or even checking the river with QQ to win the hand would count right? Thus sometimes you might want to check back QQ or even check QQ and let the other player try to bluff because you know the other player would fold if you bet? Of course say you are down to say you need to win only QQ at showdown and say another hand. Of course if you playing higher limits, that would be foolish. But if you do this at micros, that would make sense in trying to complete these missions? Also you could play 2nl to complete these cash game missions?

I also notice that many times partypoker software would close when either im playing or im out and have no tables running but still have partypoker software up and then it just opens itself and i have to log back in. Does anyone have this happen? This seems to happen almost every day or every other day. Is this related to partycaption or is this a partypoker issue?

Happened to me twice in 10 minutes yesterday. First time it's happened. Playing on mac, no caption.

1. You can only be making progress on 1 of the 2 Cash Game Missions at a time, and you can only be doing 1 of the Get Started Missions at a time. Yes, you can have 1 Cash Game Mission and 1 Get Started Mission open at the same time, and yes if you want to do another mission, you can pause one (but I think the Get Started Missions might have to be done in a certain order).

2. For each of the 2 Cash Game Missions, it is just $25 cash that would go directly into your account once you complete it. I think the Get Started Missions might give bonuses where you have to deposit money or earn points (rake), but I do not really know.

3. I do not remember what is allowed for the sng mission. Yes, preflop all-in and winning with QQ counts, and calling or checking on the river counts. However, if you bet and your opponent folds, then there is no showdown, so it does not count. Remember that completing it for QQ only counts if you already did it with AA and KK (you can check your progress in the missions section of the client). Theoretically, assuming that partypoker does not get rid of the missions, you can just play normal poker (ignore the missions), and you would eventually complete the Cash Game Missions. Yes, I played NL2 and completed the Cash Game Missions. I think I played around 10 000--15 000 hands to complete the pocket pairs mission, and around 15 000--20 000 for the final hands mission.

I am an American visiting Spain to play in the PartyPoker WPT Barcelona series. Since I live in USA I have not played on Party since 2010 or whenever they left the market. Can I do anything with the PartyPoker Live app (or account) beyond maybe participating in the online forum? I just set up an account, and when it asked me to specify my PartyPoker screen name I entered my SN from a decade ago, and when it asked for my location I entered Spain. I can log in on a browser but the PartyPoker Live android app won't let me log in.

I assume that as an American I cannot, for example, transfer money into my PP Live account and use it to reg a live event in Barcelona, let alone actually play on Party when I'm outside the USA. Is that correct? Is there any use in me having a PP Live account?

Also is there any way to have stable/player specific HUD on cash game tables, and not session/seat specific one?

Yes this is really bad.

And the client for partypoker.se is the old one for me. Lags alot, cant switch between chipstacks/bb, tourneylobbies are awful. All great changes PP did during 2018 is gone with the swedish client and there looks to be no way to update it.

Do you experience the same?

Is Partypoker down atm?

Are all these missions on party active for a very long time? How does one know how long these missions last? So if you complete all the missions, there is no more and you wait till the next set of missions come?


Also what is exactly a bonus such as $10 bonus? So you have to clear it as oppose to a cash bonus? If you play sng or mtt, how fast/slow does it clear?

how is the cashgame NL10-25 at PartyPoker compaired to Unibet? looking for a second site to play

its strange how some mtts will pop up right away and others(i feel like the ones i pre-reg'd for) i have to look on my task-bar and literally click on the MTT that hasn't popped up automatically and right click and maximize it to get it up on screen...blinded out of a few tourneys that way..but the one i was really pissed about was the final phase $55 monster tourney satty i qualified into..

also, does anyone else experience like pretty bad lag once you hit the final table? ive noticed this a few times (because ive only FT'd a few)..strangely, it also happened to me on 888, but very less frequently..i mean throughout the whole tourney on PP i still get kinda lag-ish, but not nearly as bad as the FT's..888 is usually super quick connection throughout the entirety of the the game though, but i will say that a few times i will lose connection from the client but if i immediately recognize it and quickly disconnect and reconnect my wifi, it comes right back...

I've got the final table lag for sure. I don't understand how the lag can start in a tourney when it has the least amount of tables? Defintely frustrating.

Also taking notes on FF is kinda like a game of DuckHunt, you have to hope the screen name pops up in a new hand and then you can quickly try and remember what the note was and tag the player

I am pretty sure that you cannot make money transfer to your PP Live account. You can only win it in sattellites or maybe ocasionally in promo actions.

Yeah, but I have a hack. since the PP hand replayer doesn't work for me [ keeps tryna tell me to download flash player, but I have and it still doesn't work] if you have tracking software I use HM2, i just pull up the hand in my active session and use that replayer to colour/note tag the player, then, if he pops up again on my table my stat box is highlighted the correct colour with the note and i just transfer it to my PP note/tag.

The reason why I even bother transferring is purely aesthetic, because I visually like using the PP colours/notes.

Thanks for this info. With the sng mission and it requiring you to play sngs, does spins count? Because i think i did it with spins and some reason it doesn't seem to count it?


Okay so these missions just stay there the entire time until party end it sometime? Thus if you complete all the missions, it would show a check mark to all of them and thats it? And you wait till party has new missions?

Also when is the difference between a $10 bonus and $10 cash? If you get $10 bonus, and say play mtt or sng, how does it clear? Is it like every $10 in rake you pay, you clear $1 in bonus?

For those unaware, PP will be down from approx 10:00 - 11:00 CET today for maintenance.

Following this, there will be a client update to implement various fixes and improvements.

I'm having the same issue. They're probably still updating their bot network.

I had the same issue. You will need to uninstall PP and re-install it from the website. It will work fine again after that.
