I haven´t read a lot in this thread, but since there a a few things that bother me on the software, I just assume, that thay weren´t brought up yet

1) Usually I am a guy, who starts his own tables. So mostly I play heads up a while, and then a third player enters the table, who might sit out for a couple orbits. What really ****s me up here is, that from there the BTN is posting the BB, and the OOP-guy is posting the SB. WTF? This is makes HU-play impossible and really needs to be fixed, because this is a serious mistake. For instance, if the third guy decides to sit out a little longer, it virtually destroys the HU game.

2) Note-Taking really sucks at party poker. Everytime I am taking a note, and the action comes to a different table, the cursor jumps to the other table. What a nightmare! So I have to set up the cursor back to the table manually I am taking the note on. This really tilting me a lot and often it kills the motivation to take notes. Please change! I know merge has the same kind of bug, but FullTilt back in the days hadn´t and I also think this is not difficult at all to change.

it's a pretty new laptop ~6 months old, i'm a pc-tard but seriously doubt it has anything to do with the laptop being slow, never nay problems running anything else just ****ing party

just checked and i already do this, but when opening the first table (using tst) then closing it, the facking party client ALWAYS pops up, doesn't happen when other tables running just when open/close first one...try to keep the ****er minimised 100% of the time

Is there a way to put notes on players after they left the table?

Because everytime I play a SNG and an opponent busts because he made a strange move of which I want to take a note. I need to be very quick and select notes.

I used to play on FT and there you could just rightclick the player in the hand replayer, but on Party you can't do this.

Is there a way to do this without having to insta-rightclick him the moment he busts?

Think the best you can do is to open Notes.txt in your party directory and add a new line

playername~your note here>

Until party upgrades notetaking

or just use the note function in HEM.

Sometimes, internet providers in Canada run their servers through an American IP address. Call the internet provider and ask....

If it's any consolation, though, partypoker.com has been blank for me all week (if not longer - I've not been anywhere near Party this month)... and I'm in the UK.

Am I the only one who doesn't have problems with the software? I hear people compaining about it constantly, but never really noticed anything myself.

9 or so tables or fewer is fine even on old computers, but there's confirmed lag above that

these help:
- turn off TST hud (major difference)
- minimise everything you can (lobby, TST, skype, HEM), watch in task manager how the CPU usage drops
- make the HH folder you're auto importing from as small as possible (move old hands to archive)
- performance tips on holdem manager forums
- as a last resort sit out all tables, ctrl + alt + delete quit party, reopen and sit back in

thank you for posting this...i will give some of it a try.

but I still can not believe that they are not able to do anything against it. they are currently number #2 and they do literally nothing special to secure or even strenghten their position. IMO the only reason they are #2 is mainly because most other sites behind them have some huge disadvantages themselves and not because party is such a strong brand. for a site that big a software like this is pretty much a joke IMO. i have posted this a few weeks before...i was able to play 16 tables on FTP without any software help...no table ninja or bet script...just FTP.....but I can not play more than 6 tables on party without timing out constantly and going on lifetilt.

software confirmed glitchy, memory hogging and slow. Just adding another voice in case the phantom party rep decides to show up.

tyvm jspill will try all that stuff (apart from hardware upgrades coz not needed imo) and if still **** will be RIP party

They need to roll back to before they went on the crap/feature adding mission about 18 months ago, was running awesome. Boggles the mind that they keep adding more stuff.

if you have an official thread with a rep in it you either answer fully or you do not need one at all. a rep that just shows up randomly to promote something and not answering any critical question is kinda embarrassing IMO.
