Cannot update partypoker when clicking on the startup.


So i have to download partypoker from the site in order to update it? Do i need to uninstall partypoker first before i install it again?

Okay so does this mean we can have hem2 running still while playing other sites like stars and 888 when playing party though even though they don't allow 3rd party software? So programs like partycaption is not allowed right?


But you could run hem2 and the hud while playing on stars, party and 888 with no issue right? Its just no hud will show up on hem2? Does that also mean hem2 won't record tournament or cash game results because of the no hand history?


At the moment, if you play on party, the only thing you can use is hotkeys right? Well if you want to bet a specific percentage of pot and not the ones you have listed on hotkeys, you basically now have to move your mouse slider or type it in as oppose to previous where even though you have several hotkeys for certain percent of pot, well you only have a few bet sizes to choose from. But now you cannot because of this?

Is there anywhere to see results in client? Like session results or at least monthly results.

Really sucks not having results in the client. Or in HEM, PT4 or Hand2Note... Thinking about moving to Stars full time.

So i suggest if u have 2 computers keep one old software for at least a week or two then......attach location-new screename in an excel file....
once done u can on the new software paste location on the new note box and retag them

that can be very usefull to spot the past RUS-BLR-UKR aka nitty aka play 24hr aka play together on 20 tables.

EDIT : to avoid the auto update process u need to start PP beeing offline. then when software is loaded, restore yr connection. remember that all the competent russian cheaters will spot that breach and gather info and location on u so better do it as well

Id expect them to do similar changes soon. Online poker is in a bad place. Literally 1 or 2 bad updates away from being dead for most people (imo)

I contacted Stars yesterday in regards to the Party update. They told me they had no intentions (yet) to follow Party. But who knows...

I don't think online poker is in a bad place though.. Maybe not as big as it used to be, but still lots of fun for me.

I was talking about the state of the game for regs/full time players. I mean you can always have fun, even if you are losing i guess..

So basiccly there is no way now to track your session results atm?

the goal is to make you almost mono tabling, either u play cash or MTTs.
the waiting list in cash is so tilting (and failing)that you puke before playing.
MTTs the schedule is so poor, it s a miracle if u can 4 MTTs to play in a 3hrs bracket (that s when you not busting).

It s not surprising...Rob Y has no clue of online needs, he s a pure live player...the site is dead soon as said here many times in the last 3 years

This is the biggest joke of all time, how the proffesional poker players can rely on that software now, without possibility of tracking thier own result
Not to mention the fact that if you are playing now fast foward tables, making notes after hand is impassible because U can't make any note in the replayer so basiccly you need to renember what happend and hope that u will see villian in next hand, then you have to probably use yourtimebank in order to dont fold your hand, and make an note

If Stars wanted to be super clinical they could reintroduce rakeback now and finish off the dying remnants of Party and all the other sites.

Haven't played on party in a while. Logged in and change username. So if you haven't played in a while, there are no promotions that are you are eligible? I get message not eligible.

Also im told that you can run HEM2 while playing on partypoker since you are playing on stars as well etc. But you can run partycaption without any problem right? I know that is what most ppl use with partypoker.

So at the moment, the only thing you have are the preset preflop and postflop hotkeys and thats all right?
