I'm on a Mac laptop. When I open ACR it loads to 100%, then the window closes in favor of an installer as it does when it needs a new version. The update then installs, but I get a pop-up telling me there is a certificate error and the application closes. I thought maybe the issue was my old OS, but I just updated to the latest OS, and I'm still getting the same issue. Anyone else have this?

As for keeping large amounts in the site, there’s a 50-100 ‘no rathole’ game. Basically you can only buy in for what you last left the table with as long as it’s within a 7day span of when you last played. I’ve amassed quite a large stack at the table which has in turn kept me to leaving more and more profit on the site. If I start cashing out my 300k stack will reset to 1k. It sucks but I do feel that it’s now necessary to cash out and restart at 1k. Thanks for your enthusiasm lord huntington for help ‘exornerating’ me!
LOL I was wondering if you were the big stack in that game. Nice to hear they fixed the issue.

I've seen this on other sites, and I think that the tests are bordering on invalid. I remember tests where I had to put in the number of something in a picture: storefronts, cars, whatever. I had my face right up to the screen, trying to figure that out in some very cluttered pictures. I was thinking things like, "That look likes a part of a bumper in that corner, does that count?" "Would that be considered a storefront?" I messed up those tests several times.

Tournament "BOSS ME MEGA 20 Seats Deadline - 3 Seats" was cancelled with 11 players left this morning, 7 made a 215$ ticket i was a guarented one... instead all buyins refunded, stated reason from support was that starting stacks were 800 chips when 3000 was listed, but was first to be cancelled several others ran that way. I contacted support and was comped entry into the 44$ MDS sat and was "best they could do", better than nothing i guess, but still just got robbed 140$ by it...

anyone else know why the sit n go volume on ACR is practically non-existent compared to the MTT player volume. the MTT draw thousands of players daily, meanwhile the 50/100 sit n go's have trouble filling at almost all times of the day? do you think players are afraid of collusion and feel like they would be less victims of collusion on MTT? thoughts?

.........also how is ACR still in business when none of their tournaments can match or surpass the guarantees. the sunday million is 150-200k short every week.

It's got me ****ing tilted!!!

If I'm the last agressor, say on the turn, and I'm in position, and I have a winning hand, I show and I don't get to see my opponent's hand.

If my opponent is the last aggresor, say on the turn, and I'm out of position, and I have the winning hand, I show and I don't get to see my opponent's hand.

I've seen the river checked down 4 ways, with me 3rd to act, and two players in front of me display "mucked" at show down. My hand gets shown, and the pot goes my way. I never get to see anyone's ****ing hand when I'm winning!

What the **** is going on?! Do they just determine which hand is the winner, then show that one and muck all the others if the river checks through? I'm ****ing pissed!

It is supposed to resemble live poker, where people can muck and not show hands.

WPN claims they've been working on showing cards at showdown for 2 or 3 years now but somehow it's a software nut they just can't crack.

Maybe some software shows the losers' hands also? I played a bit on this network a couple of years ago and someone commented on my hand when he won.

You have the option to choose to show your hole cards at showdown. Most people have Auto-Muck selected in their settings so as not to be constantly bothered. Maybe in this case you showed on purpose or by accident.

The last person to put positive action will show hand, win or lose. if you bet with a bluff and get called your hand is face up at showdown. if you bet, get raises and just call and lose, your hand is mucked and not shown.

My antivirus software was blocking poker on another site, maybe this will be of some help to you:

I was playing on Juicy Stakes Poker and Avast was stopping me any time I tried to open up the site or download an update. I was in the clear once I was in and ready to sign up for a tournament. I wanted to build bankrolls on more than one site. I haven't played on ACR for several months, but I'll be back on soon.

There are two ways that I can get on JSP with no problem now:

      1. If Juicy Stakes Poker is the first thing that I open I can get in and sign up for a tournament. Avast is one of the slowest programs to load once I start my computer so JSP wins the race.

      2. I can disable Avast, open JSP and do whatever I need to do, then turn Avast back on. There are options to shut down Avast for a certain time period or indefinitely. I don't know whether Norton works that way or not.

      I hope that helps.

WPN forum will be removed from the forum lists in a few days.

No special significance to the timing nor is it a big event - we kept the links around for a while so our members wouldn't wonder why it seemed to just disappear all of a sudden, but now it's time.

The forum will still be able to be accessed via the URL just like other retired forums, and posts there should remain searchable.

And this changes nothing in terms of our future with WPN - we would still be open to them returning if they wanted to and were able to respond satisfactorily to the concerns we raised. Their reps are also welcome to continue responding to players' concerns, whether they advertise with us or not, as if the case with all site reps.

Is Phil Nagy the CEO of all of the Winning Poker Network or just the ACR skin?

I wonder how security staff at a skin are able to address stuff like bots across an entire network of sites/skins.

ACR is just a skin. Nagy is CEO of WPN. All the skins are the same -- tournaments and players.

Hey all. Can someone tell me how rollover is counted whether you deposit or receive transfer for someone? I know that with stars, it was you had to roll over the entire amount. Such that imagine you deposited or had someone transfer you say $2000. You had to play $2000 worth of sng or tournaments before you could cash out. Of course you could cash out portions etc. Does WPN work like this or not? Such as imagine you deposit 2k or 5k or had someone transfer you that amount. Do you have to play $2000 or $5000 worth of sng/mtt tournament buyins total? I heard there was something like 10% but not sure what that 10% mean exactly but i assume 10% rake? Thus you would have to pay $200 or $500 rake?

Now how do you calculate this in terms of cash games? Is it any bet that is called? Like imagine you play 50nl. You start with say $50 stack. You bet it all in on river and get called etc. Then $50 is counted towards the rollover? But if any amount that does not get called, would not? Such as imagine pot is $35. You bet $20 all in on river and someone folds or someone bets that and you fold, that doesn't count right

      Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they will just go with rake paid, at least in cash games. I don't see why it wouldn't be any different in sngs/mtts. I have no clue what the amount you have to pay is but I remember talk about it in the subforum when people complained about it.

I've heard mumblings about new software for ACR. Are they going to implement custom avatars where users can upload their own avatars like on Pokerstars? Would be great if so!
