Currently a Bodog regular. I am moving to Florida within the next month. Anything I should know? This is my number 1 source of income and need this to maintain, should i expect everything to be business as usual in Florida?

Thanks DJG. Excited to make the move! Bodog told me there should be more options for payouts. Any Florida players can touch base on this? Thanks all!!

Bodog for FL players is the same as anywhere else in the US, AFAIK. I'm not sure why support says there are more options for payouts (I haven't played there in a while actually), but you aren't currently going to be in a worse spot than elsewhere in the US.

One caveat: FL is one of the states that has seriously considered an intrastate i-poker bill. Should that happen, there may eventually be state law enforcement action against unlicensed sites.

This was a big hope a whie ago that all the dog/horse track rooms would form a intrastate thing which imo woudnt be too horrible if they stuck to the same rake and such and there is aot of poker players here. But the bad part is if a I-poker bill passes on the federal level with so many rooms here florida might opt out and go intra state. While im for any form of i-poker the more people the better so ehhhh. And op, if you move to Fl why not give live a try, the players here for the most part are beyond terrible especially in the Tampa area. its a little tougher down south.

You might have a problem at the end of the year when Bodog leaves the US market. Intertops has fairly fast cashouts so you might want to look in to playing there.

Bodog doesn't leave the US, just the brand name does but the site itself will just have a different name and continue business as usual.

he's wrong, they're just rebranding. It's supposed to be biz as usual with just a name change to protect Bodog from the liabilities of US players
