Hi dan, quite funny I have never played poker through coral before, only last year coral bought out a number of my hometown bookies (all 20-30 of them) seems like I will download the client and see what games are on offer, any deposit bonus' with coral? What's the rakeback like on this I poker skin?

Have to say Coral is one of the best skins to be on if you play on iPoker. Couple of questions:
- Rake is way to high on this network, was it of the operators view that cash game rake 100nl+ should be raised or did the network just do it? Any chance of SNG rake coming down (especially on Double or Nothing + Standard 6 max) as its nearly 10%.
- Are you going to keep the old software available for as much as possible as it is much more functional than the new one?
- As has been a long issue on lower stakes cash games. If you have an account in GBP and sit in a EURO cash game the auto-top ups skim the balance and rounds up wards. I.E: sit at 4nl, you just pass the small blind and top up 0.02 cent, it will take 0.02 pence from the account. Can iPoker fix this already.
Hi,

With regards to old client we are trying to keep this running as long as iPoker allow – the issue we have is its not being maintained so if it breaks, incurs further bugs – it won’t be fixed, so it will become more and more buggy as we go along.

I will bring up the lower SNG rake on Double or Nothing + Standard 6 max – along with the 2p reduction on euro games - will try and get a response for you asap. I must also say we did not vote as a company on network rake increase this was a straight change by iPoker.

I hope your well

D.

Hi jayme,

Thanks for the message, its good for you if you have shops near you - if you apply for a Connect card in shop you can enter the "connect" freerolls as well as withdraw instantly in shop should you win - so no waiting around for withdrawals!

the deposit bonus is pretty standard on the Network Deposit £5 and get 5 x €5 tournament tokens (must be used within 14 days of credit)
30 x Nightly £50 New Player freeroll tokens, giving you a month worth of action - Not only that but we're offering a welcome pending bonus of £10 for £10. For every £10 of your first deposit with Coral Poker, you will receive a pending bonus of £10, all the way to £200. This bonus will be released in £5 increments for every 300 points earned.

Also if you run out of bonus Im sure we can accommodate 1 off reload top up of £1000 for you to keep you going. RB structure can be found HERE

Obviously if you play alot higher SBR deals can be obtained through Coral Affiliates.

I hope this helps.

They are raked higher than spin and gos and Party's sit n go hero games when you consider how much shorter they are in terms of hands because of the antes. As the games are shorter I would expect a lower rake.

I do prefer Twisters as I like the faster structure but they're just not competitively raked based on their structure.
Hey John,

I haven't heard what the rake structure on these will be - Im struggling to get a date on release let alone what they will charge for these

Will touch base as soon as i know more.

Got a question about the Coral-Ladbrokes merger in relation to poker.

Will the Ladbrokes and Coral poker clients be merged at some point or kept separate? I only ask as I thought Ladbrokes poker and Coral poker do not operate in all of the same countries, but then you do run Gala poker as a separate poker client.

Plus, I like Corals connect card as I can go to the shop to withdraw money, but there is a Ladbrokes shop closer to me by 8 miles. Will the shops be merged so I can use my connect card in the closer Ladbrokes shop?

The particulars on the merge have not been finalised - But as you said I manage Gala and Coral at the moment and we run the 2 brands separately - but cross promote similar promotions such as the Twister race. and Live packages.

Coral Summer Poker League - Thoughts ???

Just thought I'd look for some feedback regarding the CSPL we are running from Monday.

12 weeks 36 Tournaments and a £10k Prize Pool all for £1.10 Buy-in!!! Top 50 Paid

Starting Monday 13th June until Saturday 28th August Coral Poker are bringing you a fantastic MTT Summer Poker League!

Tournaments will start at 7pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays – and the League will be run on a points based system!

Example: If you WIN the 1 of the Tournaments and there are 500 runners you will receive 500 points – if you go out 1st you receive 1 point! Points will accumulate over the weeks and prize pool will be paid out on Monday 29th August.

Not only will you receive maximum points for winning a tournament - £50 Cash will be credited to your Poker account the following morning! And should you win 3 tournaments in the series you scoop a lovely £500 Cash!

If you view the promotion page you can see the leaderboard payout structure - we have a massive £2500 up top - I personally think this is great value for lower stakes MTT Players??

Good to hear everyone's opinion.

I had a little looksee at the one for Monday. It is down to start at 8.30pm in my client and I am in the UK.

Not sure if I will take part, 10 min blinds are a little long starting at 8.30pm for me on a weekday. I'd probably give them a go if there were plans to have some super turbo events mixed in for those that like their mtts fast.

I know the old client still works and doesn't update to the new one, but as Coral Dan mentioned it will stop working one day as ipoker no longer fix it.

I may have the link somewhere, will check.

edit: found an old post i made with link: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...postcount=1308

Hey Dan

Any chance of making these Login Lottery games multi-entry so we can use up the extra tickets we've built up?

Still award the same number of tickets per day, but give us a chance to catch up on their use.

Awesome. Thanks.

Do you have any information on why my poker daily challenge tickets are never automatically credited and I have to contact support to get them added?

They used to work perfectly, being listed in with the other poker missions and the bar moved up as you progressed. Now the bar doesn't move and I have tried completing the daily poker challenges in both the new and old poker clients.

Waited 9 hours for them to fix it by email (says 4 hours in automated reply) and am now waiting on live chat for someone to answer for over 20 mins.

Thanks John - yes few changes on this mornings update - Tickets are bunched together - Missions tab has been upgraded it now looks a lot clearer. and i believe the automatic crediting of tokens from Missions has been resolved so moving forward the issues will be minimal on these.

hey dan, i asked earlier if you can provide help with network wide issues since there is basically no direct contact between players and those in charge. this issue is an important one so hopefully you can contact the correct people and make something happen.

there are quite a few bots running loose in the mtt's on the ipoker network, players using this same bot have been banned from other networks but on ipoker its hard to get them shut down. can read more at the link here. i have more names to add to the ones listed there but wanted to see what happens with those first.
