haha, i dont play for rakeback. I just tough I can get something a bit more on the side for my volume. Still grinding out that platinum chest.... only 10k hands more.

It's way worse than anything you can imagine. Rakeback dropped to a literal 1.5% for most winning players.

Boost is just double points. If you have a boost of 50, your next 50 points will be worth 100.

They're removing boost soon anyway in the upcoming update and making the points target three times bigger.

Btw the funny thing is that it says chests are tailored based on your playing history or something like that. Tested this and didn't play poker at all made only bets and wagered something like 2k in one month. Didn't receive any freebets only your typical coins. So that's allso pretty much bullsheet. Made a small profit or broke even on the bets so I guess you need to punt away if you want some rewards.

I just took 'tailored' to mean, if you're a winning player your chests won't be worth opening. If you're losing then they'll shower you with coins and tickets.

I hadn't played on Stars for ages and my red chest dropped to 140 points, every one had tickets and half decent coins. I played a bit, then it was back to 265 points needed and 7 coins a pop.

Not sure whats going on. Red chest containing 7 (yes 7 coins) is worth 550 points meaning 5.5 USD rake

Blue chest with ~23 coins is worth 1250 points or 12.50 USD rake. I guess i am a winner but i feel chests were more rewarding and easy to get few months ago compared to now.

havent cashed out anything

Value might go up but the % you are getting back is most likely the same. And it's harder for the recs to get chests so most def not a good thing.

bad for stars - im not sure changing it is going to help them - they already pretty much said F*** Y** to regs with the chests to begin with.

I think some worry is occurring at stars - last year saw poker growth of 1.1%. Alarming for them I am sure is that Q4 was down 10%.

Meanwhile Party saw an increase of 42% in 2018. More alarming for stars im sure is that Q1 is looking like a 38% increase at partypoker.

Im sure the loss of players is a double whammy for stars - pissed of players play less (or not at all) and I doubt few would sports bet or play casino games because the brand is so toxic to many regs.

I havent played on pokerstars in a longer time. Last time I read about chest rakeback for CG it equaled around 4-5% RB (lol). Is that still what it is?

f me just grinded ma tits off to clear 335,000 point chests for $25 bonus and 1000 rewards points ($10) Up to this point the chests where decent . Seems pointless when you can get similar games on other sites with MUCH higher rakeback?? why so many regs on ps??
