ATMs won't take the checks..Go to a teller.

For all the checks that ended up bouncing, how long did it take to resolve the issue. I am waiting on 3 checks

Why wouldn't you try to deposit that type of check? I received what I think is the same sort of check as seb777 and was going to attempt to deposit it tomorrow.

I went to Walmart, no luck. To my bank (large international bank) NEVER had any initial issues (as i stated once had a UB check bounce and two PS checks bounce but these were put on hold and then bounced) the teller pretty much said this check is invalid, we can hold it but when it bounces you're sure to incur the fee, no thank you. So i called CS, and was pretty much assured it was a good check and to try the atm. even went so far as to say i can even withdraw on the check immediately after depositing in the ATM (i work in finance, i'm knew better than to try that) but i did attempt to just deposit it in the ATM. Called back and was promptly told the check was no good.

So you've been blatantly lied to by an on-line gaming site regarding the whereabouts/processing stage/date it was sent of your check? more than once? on both the phone and through email? you see the email date of Dec 23rd, the check is dated Dec 27th AM I MISSING SOMETHING? does fedex now process/write checks in addition to delivering them?

Carbon takes a while, once though i would never get a payout from cake - 45 days i waited BUT I WAS NEVER LIED TO ABOUT IT BEING PROCESSED/SENT. In a ponzi scheme you wait for new $ to come in before paying out withdrawal request.

Either way I was just letting you guys know. If I don't get a replacement check within the next 10 days, no not a replacement check, a GOOD replacement check in the next 10 days i'm disputing the charges to my bank on the grounds that I was trying to deposit on bodog's gambling site and someone else withdrew my funds. DAMMIT I WILL BE PAID one way or another and it will not take a minute past January 15th.

Cash out processed on December 8th. Stil waiting.

Of course Wal Mart isn't going to accept a foreign check. Of course the ATM isn't going to accept a foreign check. The check COULD bounce if you properly deposited, but there's no way to know unless you actually tried.

Just tell Bodog you need a non foreign check. Take a chill pill or drink some booze while you wait.

If you dispute the charges you're either not so smart or you didn't actually make any significant profit on the site. If you actually did profit, you will be much better off being patient and not overacting.

Seb77, your check didn't bounce. Your bank didn't accept the check because it is foreign with no US bank afiliate. The teller was telling you they would have to put the check on hold while it went through collections. The collections process takes a long time to receive the funds and alot of banks wont accept them. Cursing at CS wont solve anything, tell them you need a new check connected to a US bank.

last check i received from bodog (6-12 months ago) i just put it in the atm and it cleared within a couple days. Is it different now?

well i hope i get lucky. I am not savy with words when it comes to negotiations. I am also very timid and would avoid causing a scene with workers. Hopefully i dont have to speak with any bank associates.

FWIW, I received my check today, the 29th, and cashed it just fine when I took it to the teller.

12/16 - bodog says the xfer was processed successfully
12/27 - received in my bank account

No hiccups, just time. Cost 50$ fee from bovada (which I didn't know about) and fee from my bank too, but it worked. Just requested a smaller check today for my December free payout, will update

And there is a large US bank that they associate any problems or questions to on the check

LOL nobody wants to take this check. My major bank's ATM wouldn't take it. My smaller bank said that they don't accept international checks. And just because I want to be done with Bovadadog I went to the shady check-cashing place that will take foreign drug money checks and the guy said "Ehhhh, I don't know about this one".

Looks like I'll have to see if CS will cut me another check that I won't get until February.

did your check come from overseas? Was it hand written?

didnt have any trouble depositing the check (was not hand written).
there is a 5-day hold on the check...will update if it clears or not.

The place is shady and the guy did say that he didn't know if he could accept the check and that I should come back tomorrow when his son is working. To be fair I don't know if they accept foreign drug money checks.

Either way I was able to have this check cancelled and requested another check. Unfortunately they couldn't assure me that I could get a check from a US bank, or even one associated with a US bank.

Bodog CS told me they could cancel my check (that looks like many others reported here) and send a new payout. When my request was forwarded to the payout department, all they did was reassure me the check was fine (which I'm obviously skeptical of). So...into the ATM it went, on 22nd, now on hold. Does anyone know a standard time banks can/will hold international checks?

Received check today and depo'd into my banks ATM before I read about other peeps issues with that. It took the check just fine I'll let y'all know whether or not it clears.

Fwiw I've deposited numerous international checks with my banks ATM previously and never had any issues.

It can take Weeks to clear collections if they send it to collections

Did you try to deposit it inside the banks first? Foreign checks are very tricky as I found out recently.
