I'm not saying you are lying, just that the story does not add up on somebody's end (yours or Bodog's).

FYI: I get error 148 every time I try to login. I have to login twice to get it to work. My account is not locked, it is just some error in the Bodog client.

Bodog is normally pretty good about stuff like this. There is one other thing you can do in the meantime. You can file a complaint with sportsbookreview.com at this link:

http://www.sportsbookreview.com/Spor...Complaint.aspx

SBR does a good job, especially at highly rated sport books like Bodog where they have an A rating, at mediating issues between a player and a sports book. Maybe they can help with this.

OK I have not read the entire 251 pages of this thread. Are you saying it is all posts with bounced checks from a Singapore bank that Bodog uses as a payment processor?

So now you are saying your check is not counterfeit or fraudulently made or presented, but is simply stop payment or non-sufficient funds / NSF (a bounced check)?

I think I will leave this to Becky and the CS people at Bodog, this is not fraudulent activity at all apparently, just that you have an issue with a NSF or stop payment on a check. Sorry I could not help you with this, and I apologize if I offended you in any way.

I think we are a little suspicious since you aren't giving us a lot of deals outside of saying that you tried to cash a Bodog check, your bank thinks it is a fraud, and that Bodog locked your account. It just seems strange that Bodog would lock your account because of you trying to cash one of their checks.

I see that you also posted this over at SBR, but no one has replied to your posting there. I would say that least over here at 2+2 we are trying to give you some advice.

calm down.. Try to write complete, coherent sentences. It's why nobody understands what you are trying to say.

Personally my guess would be the check was completely fine, you just had some crazy bank employees going nuts over an out of country check. I've never had anyone look twice at a foreign check, it's not like they can just look at it and say this is fake!

So now bodog has to stop payment on that, so they can make sure it doesn't end up being cashed by you at a later date after they would refund the money. Which is probably why ur account is locked for the time being.

You should post emails from bodog saying why your account is locked, why it's standard procedure here which you've said many times. The one email you posted was meaningless to this circumstance.

A few observations,,,

1. *Failure to provide screen name or bodog 'locked account' email. *

2. *Suggesting to use msn messenger on p251 is highly suspicious. *Someone who is cheated provides all info immediately. *

3. *This is clearly a guy pretending to be a girl. * No girl writes like this * Read all posts... you will hear in your head a guy pretending...

We can't really help you when you're the only person in the history of Bodog poker to have your account locked for 2 weeks over a check issue. We can't really help you ever as we are just players but we can give tips of what you should expect to happen. I will say if you've presented all the facts properly that you are being mistreated by Bodog

I think this is the situation honestly. I've had two checks out of Singapore recently (in the past few months) and both have cleared fine (though they do look a tad different from from US/Canadian checks).

I do recall a couple of years ago attempting to deposit a check out of Canada and having a hard time dealing with a bank teller that insisted that I would be depositing in Canadian dollars and that there'd be a conversion fee. It took a while before I could closely examine the check and point out that it clearly said US Funds.

BWH, giving you the benefit of the doubt on telling the truth, I can see a bank employee freak out over a 20 year old girl coming in and cashing an "unusual-looking" $2k check from Singapore. Also, I've never actually heard of Bodog locking an account for anything like this, so I think that's why it's tough for us to wrap our head around it. I do trust that Bodog will resolve the situation though. I know that's tough to hear since you're somewhat new with them, but based on years of experience, they're going to do the right thing.

Also, there is a lesson in this for everyone...

If you have the option of depositing a check in an ATM, always use that option.

Ok aside from this "bodog wont help" guy not giving full details and actual screen shots of what's going..... is anybody else having issues in regards to their checks from Bodog? I ask because I was planning on dropping some of my roll on there this weekend.

Get the distinct feeling I'm getting the runaround from them...can't be sure of it but like I said: feel like I'm being fed BS in some capacity and I don't like it.
Update on this:
- Requested 11K wire payout on Aug 6th
- Bodog told me via email it was processed on the 9th
- Still no word by August 23rd; I start sending them hostile email messages
- I get an email claiming there was technical problems and that the wire was canceled, but that it will be re-processed immediately
- More angry emails; i get a call from a Bodog rep who tells me absolutely nothing new, but apologizes profusely; refuses to explain just what "technical issues" held up the original wire (and refuses to explain how it is that a wire that has been "processed" acc to Bodog can then be canceled...it's obvious that they were either stalling or lying about it having been sent.)
- Wire gets reprocessed on Sept 6th, hits my bank acct on Sept 8th, hoorah.

Cliff's: Wire transfer took a 33 days to hit my bank. Completely unacceptable, imo, but perhaps par for the course in this day and age. I can't prove it, but the whole thing smelled fishy to me. I don't appreciate getting the run-around.

GL to the rest of you, and so long 'dog.

Read the thread? Yes, some checks have been bouncing on occasion.

This is true, but they have always issued a new check free of charge. I have never heard of anyone not getting paid, ever.

I think its pretty obvious that something else is going on with that new person's account that he/she doesn't want to share with us.

Theoretically, since merge takes over 1.5 months, you would get your check faster from Bodog even if it was 100% going to bounce the first time. A bodog check would have to bounce 2-3 times for merge to be faster.

And 33 days for 11k is still 3x faster and and almost 4x as much money as you could get from Cake.

As a working man with a family to attend to, I don't always have the freedom to go through every post in the thread. A simple "yes" or "no" would suffice as an answer and shouldn't be that hard to do considering that's what forums are for: asking questions.

No need for any hint of negativity or arrogance is required for such a simple question. Put your ego aside for a moment and give a simple answer.

Granted, you DID provide me with a straight forward answer and for that I thank you have a nice day
