or are you saying we should forget about setting up installements, it's better to just take a max w/d, wait for it to hit exodus, then rinse and repeat as new addresses are generated once the previous w/ds funds hit the wallet?

The Bonition withdrawals are very fast. I often receive my withdrawal in less than 2 hours. Also the Bonition wording saying "instalments" is confusing, just withdrawal whatever amount you want and you'll get that amount. And then 2-3 days later you can withdrawal again if you like and by then you will have received your previous withdrawal and Exodus will have generated a new coin address.

If this is your first withdrawal it might take a little longer. And they had something called the "Bitcoin only Deposit/Withdrawal Membership." I don't know if it is still a things, but if you join that, then your crypto deposits/withdrawals should be even faster.

do we need to receive bitcoin at one address first before a new one is created

I already have that "Multiple Addresses" setting enabled
Wallets with numeric first character is a Legacy address, original bitcoin address.

The alpha first character is segwit, segregated witness. Its the newer wallet which is supposed to be faster and cheaper.

You cannot received bitcoin from a legacy wallet if your wallet does not offer that format. When a site says the bitcoin address is not valid it is almost in need of a legacy wallet address.

If you toggle off the multiple addresses, you will see your fixed addresses, both legacy and segwit via the small arrows to left and right of QRC. When it is enabled, everytime you open it there will be a different address

Hey all im new to Ignition and hope you guys can help out.

I am going to attempt a first withdraw via BTC (same method i deposited) I had 2 underlying questions.

1) Was there any ID verification such as DL/utility bills on the first withdraw?

2) I don't remember if i provided my current address to Ignition when i signed up as I have recently moved. Currently when I click on profile settings it just shows my email, phone number, and my Zip code (which is the same zip as my current address). I was wondering if a potential discrepancy in address would ever be an issue?

3) There seems to be mixed information about SSN's and verification with withdrawals... however i dont remember ever providing this on sign up either...maybe someone can shine some light on this.

Thanks in advance and GL!

They don't typically ask for ID verification, when withdrawing with crypto - but they do reserve the right to. You will get a verification code texted to your telephone, and then you enter that code to complete the process. Please come back and tell us about your experience with withdrawal if it differs from the above.

4k withdraw, was in my wallet within 30 minutes.

I find it odd that they allow you to deposit with Bitcoin Cash, but not withdraw with it.

Hi All,
Getting back into poker on Ignition after a few months off.
Can anyone confirm if withdrawals into a Blockchain wallet will cause issues?

I used to use bitcoin w/d from Ignition-Blockchain wallet-SFOX-checking account.
I remember seeing a post of someone having issues with Blockchain but it was not clear whether they are now blocking this?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

It was only one poster. But if it is a relatively large withdraw for you read back through some of the other options. I've settled on it being okay as I've used it 100 times, but would mix it up if I binked $50k or $100k in a tourney and was withdrawing max every few days.

Thanks for the reply.
My w/d have always been small and never had any problems. Only problem has been winning $50 or $100k

6days to wait to send my Bitcoin to bovada
During this 6day wait Bitcoin drops in value which results in me losing monies

Any help on how to get around waiting 6days to send my Bitcoin

You phrase it, "to Bovada." Therefore, I'm guessing you mean deposit to Bovada. Bovada doesn't have much to do with how long it takes the Bitcoin to get to them. Bovada wants you to gamble as soon as possible.

The problem is that Bitcoin is so volatile that the price and fees for that price slow down the system.

If the cryptocurrency wallet you use has a different cryptocurrency like LiteCoin it will probably cost less to send and get there faster. This holds true for Bovada deposits and withdrawals. Also Bovada might still have a Bitcoin membership club you can join and deposits and withdrawals are faster. And even though the membership has the word Bitcoin in it, the membership is for any cryptocurrency.

Also many cryptocurrency wallets let you set a higher fee to hopefully speed up the transaction. But the fees are already outrageous so I don't recommend this unless you really need money moved faster.

Yeah that can’t be right. It sounds more like they deposited from a bank account to an exchange and that took a week to clear and be able to send.

I used to have not to wait 6 days
I could “buy” Bitcoin and send it to bovada and be in mtt’s under 15mins

Now all of a sudden from nowhere I have to wait 6days to be able to do anything with my Bitcoin purchase

Thank you for the suggestion of trying a different crypto currency
And I am already part of the “red carpet” cryptocurrency membership exclusive rewards program on bovada

Yeah, you’re using the wrong deposit method on your exchange. I know that on Coinbase, for example, you can deposit without fees from your bank account but it take 5-6 days to clear before you can send it anywhere. If you deposit with a debit card, you can have the funds instantly transferable for a fee.

I hope this doesn’t need to be said, but you should of course be using an intermediary wallet in between your exchange and the the poker site.

I do I have BitPay
Waiting 6 days is new to me

So now I have to pay an extra fee if I don’t want to wait or try a different form of crypto?

Sounds looks like it

I don’t know what you’re doing incorrectly, but you shouldn’t have to wait that long.

Spell out your exact steps you perform, from the exchange to the site.

2. Buy Bitcoin have my Bitcoin
- I used to be able to send immediately
Now I have a wait 6 days

3. Send Bitcoin to bovada

Yeah, change your Coinbase buy option from bank account to debit card. You must have accidentally switched it at some point.

Bank deposit has always had a waiting period, debit deposit has an extra fee and is instantly transferable to another wallet.

Also, your step 3 should be sending to another wallet and THEN sending to Bovada. Don’t send directly from Coinbase to Bovada. That’s what we mean when we say to use an intermediary or buffer wallet.

So I'm in New York and got an email saying I had to withdraw because they're stopping service here. I check my balance and it's under $10 so I can't withdraw normally. I chat with them and am told that I cannot receive the funds. It's not that serious but wow what bad customer service and policy. I cannot imagine any other company acting like that ever.

I moved to NY since last playing on Bovada and need to update my address so I can withdraw. They asked for ID/utility bill which is standard so I sent it right away. I've been waiting a week now for them to review it so I can even make a withdrawal attempt. Sigh.

I'm still not sure if you're actually using a third party wallet, here. I'm confused what you mean by your, "coinbase app shows your bitpay wallet was used for sending." I'm not familiar bitpay wallet, so perhaps I'm mistaken, but to me this sounds like your bitpay wallet is somehow connected to your coinbase account. You should be sending your bitcoins from Coinbase -> Third party wallet -> Site.

When I say a third party or separate wallet, I do not mean anything inside of Coinbase that says wallet-- separate wallet means an entirely different wallet that does not connect to Coinbase in any way.

^^^ this. for simplicity's sake, I'll describe a 3rd party wallet as one that only stores, sends and receives bitcoin, it is not a place where you can also buy and sell. look up electrum for mobile if you're using bitcoin

I have my 3rd party wallet linked into my cb and my cb verifies that my 3rd party wallet was used to send monies.

I have been doing this for quite sometime now.

And I will begin to send monies to 3rd party wallet and then send monies elsewhere.

I’m not picking a fight nor being stubborn just curious

What’s the big deal?
What’s the worst that can happen?

people have gotten their CB or cashapp accounts banned sending directly to bovada which makes it a huge pain in the ass to use crypto in the future, that's about the worst that can happen. ppl are just looking out for you so that doesnt happen to you
