I'm not sure when the check was dated, but I received it on 01/21 after requesting the payout on 01/17. I'm waiting to get the actual check back from my bank.

I also suffered a bounced check on bodog... They are only offering to send another check??? Are you kidding me?

Should they have lost their priveledge to write check to me as a customer now?

I agree; I was hoping they would remedy the situation in a more expedient manner, like a wire transfer. Bodog's support line also told me to call them once I get to check so that they can verify that the new check number is not associated with a "processing error." Sounds like they still haven't straightened it out yet.

BODOG PAYOUT UPDATE:

Received this email a few hours ago-

We have received a reply from our eComm Department regarding your
recent payouts.

We will be re-issuing the payout for the check that was returned.

You should have no problems cashing the other checks that will be sent
to you.

Our provider has placed a restriction on the check amounts that we are
able to send out. This amount is $3000. You will be receiving a
number of $3000 checks to complete your payout. Our provider must wait 72
hours between each check that it sends to you.

If you would like to receive your payout quicker, we suggest you try
our new Debit Card payout option. For more information on this option,
please call Customer Service at 1-888-263-0000 EXT 2

Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.

Just had two checks bounce on me today from these dicks. Anyone know if they cover the charges from your bank when their checks bounce?

this all sounds a little scary. i'm waiting on 2 different check to arrive that i requested a week ago. now i'm worried about them bouncing. been with bodog a little over a year and never had any issues cashing out. this doesn't sound good...

it's sorry that they aren't giving some kind of bonus to the players who had checks bounce. if you bounce a check don't u have to pay some kind of penalty...

They covered the fee charged by my bank, but only by depositing that amount into my Bodog account. After the check bounced, they offered to either reissue the check or redeposit the funds back into my account with a 10% bonus (subject to reload bonus requirements).

jawdat, please keep us posted if they do indeed send you another check. Hoping that this was really a "processing error" and that future checks are good.

thanks.

man this has been alot of trouble for me, i cashed out two 1k bodog checks on the 17th and on the 20th and both of them were part of this apparent 'batch' that all are going to bounce...

Got super owned on fees and whatnot but bodog has resent out (will be sent out tomorrow in fact) a 2k check that they assure me will not bounce, and in addition on febuary 6th after the checks do in fact bounce (put on hold right now) i have to send them copy of my bank statement showing all the fees they cost and they said they will compensate for all the fees.

I mean they were real quick to clear this all up and fix this. Lets just see if they actually do what they say.

I have faith though.

According to Bodog's customer support, my payout has been re-processed in the new maximum allowable increments of 3k. We'll see how long it takes to receive the first check...

My check bounced, they are sending me a new one and covering the fees. As long as the next one doesn't cause problems I'm not upset. The customer service guy I talked to was super-helpful and nice, and gave me the names of the processors that are bad in case I get any more checks from them (I have a pending cashout in addition to the one that bounced).

Last week I got a Wire Transfer in 24 hours. Picked it up at my Large Chain Grocery store that has Western Union, No hassle, No fees, $3000 limit.

haha...

'check by courier' just took 5 days.

see 3 posts above...my last 3 cashouts by check took 3 days, 4 days and 5 days in november, december and january.

clicked 'cashout' on january 26th, fedex envelope here on january 31st...

again, not '24 hours to your checking account', but i have no beef with 5 days...tomorrow afternoon after work, the check pays for the shotgun i've checked out twice at gander mountain...

Unanswered questions.

wiper, so you are certain that all of your checks have cleared your bank account? I cashed them is not a correct answer.

Anyone have details on the debit card option?

What is Rapid Transfer?

How long has Western Union been available? Shouldn't this be something they email their customers about.

Is everyone missing the echeck deposit option?

actually, no. it's sitting right in front of me, and now i'm wondering..my bank is only 3 or 4 minutes away, but no way i'm sitting in the drive-thru at 5-somethin' on a friday, i'll be there an hour..

last one i cashed on december 30th or so cleared...

how long will it take for me to know if this one does?

It took 3 business days after I cashed my check for my bank to notify me that it had been returned. If your check is for more than 3k, you should probably contact Bodog before depositing because their new check processor doesn't clear amounts larger than 3k. Good luck...

I am fairly certain the money transfer option is via a standard Western Union. Still waiting for reply about the "rapid transfer" option.

Hmmm. I guess we will see. I just cashed out an amount bigger than that today (thin brag imo). Very curious to how this plays out.

I initially, was going to cashout via Western Union but saw a note about having to deposit via that method first. Not sure if that is true but decided go with a check instead. I also feel sort of shady picking up a large sum of money at the grocery store in my small town from some "Juan from Belize" or whatever.

I am going to be calling them to hopefully get some more info on these other deposit and cashout options, such as the debit card I see mentioned.
