Re: Bodog (Bovada/Ignition) payout thread for US players (DO NOT post bank names)

Received BTC withdrawal on weekend <24 HRs.

BitPay sent a notice regarding discontinuing it's card. Last day load is end of July and card will only work until December.

The under 24 hours payouts is a standard now(or has been for a while). I found this on the message board.

Req 6/13 at 10pm

Still hasn't processed/hit account, weird because I've cashed out 10+ times and always had it in BTC wallet in less than 24 hrs

anyone sent/received funds using the new "player to player" transfer method (not the vouchers)... smooth? CS says it takes "up to 15 mins for approval/credit"

Actually I did last month.. I received it 7 days after the withdraw was approved from a bank up North. The problem is after depositing it at my local branch a week or so later they informed me that the Northern bank used by Bovada has been flagged for online gambling. So they sent the check back to me and as of right now I'm stuck staring at it. BTC and BLC just aren't for me so I'll be switching to in person gambling. And as far as the check I happen to be within 1.5 hours from the Northern Border so I may just make a trip there again in the future and cash it at the casino or bank.

Re: Bodog (Bovada/Ignition) payout thread for US players (DO NOT post bank names)

I tested withdrawal yesterday.

Did BTC to Exodus, and then transferred to Coinbase. Converted BTC to USD and requested withdrawal to my bank account. Says it should be there by 6/24

But here's my question.

If I want to receive BTC on Exodus, it is giving me the same address that I used the first time. How do I change it since Bovada won't send to the same address more than once?

There should be an option to generate a new wallet address

Re: Bodog (Bovada/Ignition) payout thread for US players (DO NOT post bank names)

I see an option for Bitcoin to use multiple addresses, so once you use one, a new one is generated.

But I don't see the option for Bitcoin Cash

I can just use regular Bitcoin if that's the only option.

Yeah, just use BTC. There's no real point in using any other crypto unless you're into the market.

Apparently the Bitpay card is ending. When I just logged into my account though, it looks like they have a new card? Anyone know about this?

Re: Bodog (Bovada/Ignition) payout thread for US players (DO NOT post bank names)

I have $250 left in my bovada account and don't even want to mess with the check option because my bank flagged the last check and returned it to me. Anyone ever try the "player to player" transfer option? If interested I'll transfer my remaining balance to you for a $190 deposit into my Pa%P@L account dead serious.. I've just decided to do my sports bets in person now that it's approved in my state. If interested just let me know, thanks.

If you use coinbase pro it is a .5% fee to sell btc and there is no fee to transfer it to your bank account. The transfer to your bank account takes 1-3 business days. The fee is less than .5% if you sell more than $10,000 worth.

If i am bored on a friday or saturday night ill deposit $100 into my account to play a few hours during the evening. I guess the first time i did this i wagered more than my deposit because i was able to request a withdrawal for the same amount a few days later.

Two weeks ago i deposited 200 dollars to play for a few hours. I played for about 3 hours in total and currently have $283 in my account. I requested a withdrawal for the full $283 and bovada is denying it saying its bc their AML (anti-money laundering) policy. After contacting them and finding out this is the reason they are refusing my request they will not provide me any information at all on how much money i need to wager in order to get to the total amount i need to wager in order to have my request approved.

Maybe i am ignorant but how often are people using credit cards to launder money and how often are people laundering small amount of money (a couple hundred dollars)? Also, if you have a weird restriction in place for withdrawals how can you not provide the person with simple information about how much more money they need to wager in order to meet the restrictions in place?

I know this is just a small amount of money especially to the majority of people who post in this forum. However, to me, this is a decent amount of money. I was not aware that i would not be able to take my money back off the site after a few hours of playing during the weekend. Not everyone plays poker for a living or even to make money. There are (or at least used to be) people who just wanted to play for fun here and there.

Furthermore, if you view bovadas TOS page (https://www.bovada.lv/terms-of-service) under withdrawal you will find this:
"4.8 Withdrawals. To withdraw funds from your Account you will need to request a withdrawal from the Cashier page of your Account. You may request a withdrawal of any amount up to the full balance of your Account. If we are satisfied that you have complied with the Terms, all AML and fraud-screening requirements, and all rules relating to the Games and any related bonuses, the payout shall be made to you. The manner in which the withdrawal is processed may be restricted, depending on the means by which the initial deposit(s) was/were made to the applicable Account. Without limiting the foregoing, we reserve the right to conclude your withdrawal request by an alternative method or process at our discretion. If, for whatever reason, a payout request cannot be approved, a Customer Services Representative will contact you."

If you scroll through the page no where does it list what the actual anti-money laundering terms are. It refers to them multiple times but it never defines what the actual requirements are.

This is beyond frustrating. Is there anyone i can contact about this? I do not think its right for a company to gladly accept my money just to put restrictions on that money and will not tell me what the restrictions are.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have contacted Bovada multiple times already just to be given the run around every single time. They keep telling me i have to continue to wager money on order to have my cashout approved yet they will not tell me how much money that needs to be. Can you imagine going to a casino and trying to cashout your chips just to have the cage tell you that you need to go back and gamble more but wont tell you how much?
At a minimum, you need to wager what you deposit 1x. Depositing 200 and wagering 50 before cashing out is an AML flag, as well as an indication that you aren't the type of player they are interested in doing business with.

Re: Bodog (Bovada/Ignition) payout thread for US players (DO NOT post bank names)

A few posters have mentioned the new BitPay card. Part of requesting the new card is verifying your identity by your driver's license, passport, etc. and taking a selfie all within the process of the BitPay app. I have the latest BitPay app, but can never get my camera to enable when prompted. Has anyone been able to successfully request the new card?
