Mostly insta convert or else you’re straight up gambling on the future price. I just consider it part of the convenience. Have had it both been slightly up and slightly down after I cash out, overall the difference has been has been negligible.

so if you send to coinbase from blockchain and go to 'convert' btc to usd the fee is like ~5x higher than if you send the btc from regular coinbase to coinbase pro (formerly gdax) and convert to usd there and then withdraw. both are connected/linked and it takes an additional like, 5 seconds to do this.

how long do cashouts typically take to hit bank acct from cb?

cross-posting this from main bovada thread:

So I'm having a "locked funds" problem. I deposited $200 a few months back and so far I've played nothing but poker tournaments (not even cash games). I go into my cashier to make a withdrawal and it shows xxx available funds, $200.79 bonus funds, and $364.55 locked funds. Since the bonus is the Ignition Casino Welcome Bonus, I believe it is only clearable through casino games which I don't plan to play. So I expect to forfeit the bonus funds. But it's telling me I have to forfeit my locked funds as well, which I won playing poker. Am I screwed out of my $364.55 in locked funds?

Anyone using electrum beware of the phishing attack. I had not played on bovada in months and recently put some money on for the super bowl and after cashing out had my electrum cleaned out by the fake update. I obv feel like an idiot but thought i should warn others who may not be aware.

Thinking of setting up an account on ignition. I'd like to fund it solely with BTC. Are there any problems with making your first deposit/withdraw with BTC?

Their site states that I need to show a copy of the credit card I use to deposit with. If I make a deposit with BTC, do I just bypass that verification step?

I'm taking the plunge into bitcoin. Based on what I've read in the thread I'm going to do:

Ignition>>blockchain>>coinbase>>visa bit pay

This will be my first time cashing out so I might do a small amount to make sure everything is ok. Anyone recommend a good wallet? I'm steering clear of Electrum because of the phishing attack. I would prefer to just have the wallet on my MacBook as I do not plan on using bitcoin other than cashing out.

Any advice appreciated.

edit: people are mostly using bitcoin and not bitcoin cash correct?

others prob know way better than me but i'm not sure if you need coinbase between blockchain and visa bit pay

i've heard nothing but good things (very fast, extremely cheap/little fees) doing ignition > blockchain > coinbase pro > bank

I tried signing up for the Bitpay card and ran into nothing but trouble trying to pay the initial $10 fee. I tried mycelium and btc.com but neither would read the Bitpay address correctly. I know they have a protocol but I thought those wallets worked. I wanted to avoid Electurium because of phishing hack. Will coinbase work? Is there a particular path to take like is BCH better than BTC. Bitpay address that keep trying to fill in my wallet address looked more like a web address than a bitcoin address. I tried the QR code method and manual method of filling in an address but wallet kept saying address not valid.

Ideas?

This is my first withdrawal via Ignition. All deposits/withdraws are BTC. No verifcation of ID or anything... Holy moly that was fast.
$5kish BTC

Same here, over 5 hours now and funds gone from Ignition balance but no bitcoin. I looked up the address on the blockchain and nothing has been sent or is unconfirmed and pending either.

Reached out to Ignition via e-mail. Scary but let's hope they resolve it.

Well that was fast, took about 20 minutes after I sent the e-mail and it was resolved. Good luck BCM11, reach out to them via e-mail if you are concerned.

Completed my first bitcoin trial cash out for $200. I had the funds in blockchain within an hour and then off to coinbase where its pending. How long does coinbase take on a pending transaction typically? From coinbase to my bank is there an additional hold?

Is anyone able to deposit to IGNITION with Bitcoin at the moment? It is no longer an option in the cashier for a friend of mine that I stake. Wondering what's going on or if anyone else if having the issue. We've tried using the web interface and same thing. We've also uninstalled and reinstalled software to no avail.

I play on Bodog and have no issues depositing with BTC.

Received email this morning that I was being sent my BTC payout within 15 minutes. It's been hours and still nothing. I called Bovada and they said this is do to network congestion Bitcoin's end. I haven't heard or seen any issues with the BTC network today. What is going on?

I requested a cash out this morning for $9500 via bitcoin. I got an email saying it was processed and funds were deducted from my account. Usually it takes less than a few minutes up to 15. It’s been 4 hours now and I have not received funds. I have a few good contacts there called up and they also gave me the “bitcoin network congestion” response. I went on Blockchain and looked up my requested bitcoin address and it shows zero transaction (not 0/3 confirmations which means zero possible way it has been sent). Something fishy is definitely going on i can feel it....I have a great relationship with them and this has never once happened since I have been paying and cashing out bitcoin over the last few years. My feeling is that they do not have the funds readily available right now and are just buying time. I hope that it’s notning more and will be resolved today or tomorrow.
