I called her on the phone about 5-7 times over the next few days, no answer, and no response to my voice messages. Then, on May 4th, I received a thick package of 6 papers. I'm not typing up 6 pages, but here is the general jist:

"NOTICE OF SEIZURE AND INTENT TO FORFEIT: This is a notice of seizure and intent to forfeit regarding the entry ot attempted entry of the merchandise listed below, which was seized in Anchorage, Alaska for violations of the laws of the United States. Our information indicates that you have an interest in the seized property. Etc. Etc.

DESCRIPTION OF THE SEIZED PROPERTY: One (1) cash card bearing a counterfit trademark of Visa International Service Association. This trademark consists of the 'Visa and Wing Design' trademark located on the card. Etc. etc."

The paper was hand signed (in ink, not photocopied signature) by Patrick Mcgowand, "Fines, Penalties and Forfeitures Officer".

The other papers were standard papers informing me of how seizures and forfeitures work, along with a form that I can fill out to appeal (which I did not proceed in doing.)

I received the following e-mails from Bodog shortly after - May 11, 2011:

Dear XXXX,

We'd like to inform you that we can no longer process payouts to your GlobalePay Debit Card. Any remaining funds on your card have been credited to your Bodog account and can be accessed there immediately.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and if you have any questions about this or alternative payout methods, please do not hesitate to contact us at 1-888-263-0000.

And then this one May 13, 2011:

Your recent debit card payout for $XXXX has been cancelled as it could not be processed.

I requested another payout last night for my entire bankroll...I will be posting a follow-up in this thread on if I receive the funds or not. Conclusion - DO NOT DEPOSIT ON BODOG OR ANYWHERE ELSE RIGHT NOW. That should go without saying.

Requested 20k wire on 5/23, they called me to see if they could do it in one batch, received 5/31.

Requested 40k wire on 5/31, got the 1st half of it 6/9.

I'm American.

after reading this thread for a few days, i made a deposit today(i'm a usa player). i'm puzzled though, other sites or networks are giving the players a list of excuses about why they can't pay them in a timely fashion or why the checks are bouncing. what's the difference? maybe i shouldn't even be asking online. nice to know i can still play. thanks to everyone who shared info here.

I was approved 5/31... got my tracking number today. Apparently the checks are coming from Canada. Estimated delivery is early next week. Hopefully everything works out because I would be very pleased with Bodog.

Approved 6/1 - no tracking number. This is the longest wait in over 2 years. 13 days isn't an absurd amount of time though - I won't start getting worried until next Monday.

They are probably just really backed up right now because of US players closing their accounts and all of that Quick Tender money that was dumped on there by players who had no intention of actually playing but needed to do it to save their money (which now they are cashing out via check and bank wire).
