what you guys using these days?
like I posted above, I'm able to purchase BTC through the (Square)Cash app at about 1-1.5% above market... just act like it's a exchange, and be sure to send to a middle wallet before poker site

**you can't deposit BTC into the CashApp, but you are able to withdrawal once you buy them through the app**

Hi all, I just did a Bitcoin cashout from Ignition for the first time yesterday and I just want to get clarification on a few issues.

Requested a withdrawal for $500 on Oct 12 at 12:10am, received it in my Blockchain.com account at 1:30am. It says the 'value when received' was $504.86, but in the available balance at the time I checked it, it said $503.86, I'm guessing this difference is due to the changing value of Bitcoin?

I then proceeded to transfer from Blockchain to Coinbase. When I sent it from Blockchain, it wouldn't let me send the entire amount of Bitcoin. There was a difference of a a couple decimals, presumably this is to cover the mining fee?

So about an hour later, the transaction is received and confirmed in Coinbase. And this is where it gets a little confusing for me. The value when received was $499.45. So the transfer from Blockchain to Coinbase incurred a $4 mining fee?? Or was it due to the price difference?

Now I want to exchange the Bitcoins for cash so I can withdraw it into my bank account. I see that the current value of my Bitcoin in Coinbase is $498.62. When I go to sell it, the sell value is only $496.12, pretty sure this difference is due to the bid/ask spread? But the most egregious and confusing aspect is the "Coinbase fee" of $7.39!!! A $7 fee on a $500 transaction, this is pretty gross. Are there any cheaper wallets?

And it's not just that one Coinbase fee, it's all the fees put together (not accounting for the price differences in Bitcoin). On a ~$500 amount, there was a fee of $4.41 to transfer from Blockchain to Coinbase. To sell the coins on Coinbase incurs a spread cost of $2.5. And then finally there's also the 'Coinbase fee' of $7.39. So in total, to cashout a $500 amount costs $14.3 which is 2.9%. This to me seems pretty atrocious, are people really happy with paying such an exorbitant amount just to cashout? Is there really no better way?

I haven't done it yet, but at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Coinbase charged me a fee to withdraw to my bank.

You may want to check out the Visa BitPay card. You would need another wallet other than Blockchain, as it doesn't have the 'protocols' needed to transfer from wallet to card. Mycelium and Electrum are popular wallets enabled with the 'protocols'. This is a debit card used the same way as any other debit card. There is a $2.00 card fee for ATM use plus the ATM fee. No fee for cash back with purchases.

I would recommend using their exchange, Coinbase Pro (you already have it with having a coinbase account). Transfer your BTC to there (which is free) then put a limit sell order in for your BTC (also free). Once you do that you'll have USD in your Coinbase Pro account. After that send your USD back to Coinbase then withdraw it to your bank account.

Does anyone know what the new charge on cashouts is? I got a message in the Ignition cashier that beginning in Oct I'll only get one free cashout every 3 months.

Update: Wire transfer was canceled by Ignition stating my institution does not take wire transfers. Bank in question was Chase!

It seems like unless you do bitcoin then Ignition finds a way not to pay out. I guess I will have to do bitcoin. Any suggestions as I don't trust the process enough to cash out $6.5K my first time using bitcoin.

Such ****ing bull****!!

This isn't going to make you happy, it's a pain in the butt. Research this very thread, particularly Endthefed's posts.

Here's what I do and it is probably not the best method. You'll want a bitpay card to begin. Go to bitpay dot com and order a card

1) Set up an Electrum account. Once set up, type in your password and you'll be at a screen that at the top left says - History Send Receive. Click on Receive. You'll land on a screen with a complicated code, to the right of that code will be a blue box. Click on the blue box. That will allow you to copy the code

2) Go to Ignition Cashier. Request Withdrawal and select Bitcoin withdrawal. Now, where it says . . . Wallet Address, you cannot cut and paste, this is important to know. You must click in the box that says Wallet Address and then hit CtL V. Now, that complicated address from electrum should appear. Fill in your Mother's maiden name and the amount you wish. Before you hit send, take a picture of everything which includes the electrum receiving screen. Now hit request withdrawal in Ignition and take another picture of the successful withdrawal screen.

Once your funds have been sent by Ignition - maybe 2 to 72 hours -

3) You should already have a bitpay card. Login to bitpay with your login info and email. Once you login nothing will happen. You'll at first think your in a loop but you're not. Just hit the left arrow to go back a screen, try to logon again and you'll be in. Now, select, "add Funds," on the left of your screen. Type in the funds you are trying to receive. Click enter ( I think ) then click on, Copy Payment Url. This will give you a code you can paste.

4) Go back to Electrum. At this point your funds should have arrived as long as you're following along with the emails you're receiving from Ignition. After typing your password into Electrum, click on Send and cut and paste the code ( payment url ) you just got from bitpay.

Now you may run into an issue where you didn't give the miners enough fees. This is a pain in the butt that you'll just need to figure out how to deal with.

Hopefully this is all helpful.

Oh, and by the way, I'm not sure how much you're allowed at once onto a bitpay card. I've never made a 9k withdrawal at once, I've just made lots of small withdrawals.

Bitcoin is the way you'll get used to it just make it coinbase or a Gemini account and then send the money to blockchain and then from blockchain to one of those it's simple

Visa BitPay card has to be paid for in bitcoin. Receiving address in Electrum can be copied & pasted. When sending to BitPay, the miner's fee is automatically added. It can be adjusted by a bar on the page. My bar is always automatically set to the extreme right, and funds are instantly loaded on the card. This is a debit card that can be used the same as any debit card. It can be loaded up to $25,000. Also be sure to click 'Bitcoin' when requesting on Bitpay.

As i posted i got mine in 2 hours the other day, withdrew over 2k fwiw. Not sure why its taking some ppl days to get theirs other than what i said that they're reviewing your play. This isn't your first cashout with them is it? Other than those 2 things i can't think of any other reasons why its taking you and the other poster on this page longer than others to get your money. Have you emailed/called them today? Hope you get paid soon

From my experience if you cash out your whole roll they take longer hoping you'll use it if you just cash out 20% it's fast you do not need to worry though they've never missed a payout. And 64 hours is really nothing we used to wait months

Still absurdly annoying. When I ask them they give generic answer. I cash out regularly from them for years. Ne reason for them to make you wait. Just bad customer experience then

No reason whatsoever, as long as you're fine with your Coinbase account being closed, if they determine you're sending/receiving funds to/from a gambling site. Hence, the use of an intermediate wallet between site and account.
