Got the same e-mail. Very disappointing because just an hour or two prior, I wasn't able to provide a picture for GDAX because for some ****ing reason the camera doesn't come on when they ask for it on my phone, tablet, or laptop. ****

Any ideas from people as to which of these wallets has 1) No reporting requirements to the U.S. government and 2) No affiliation with Bitpay?

edit- would it be safe for me to just ask bitpay these questions? I pay a full tax so I'm not trying to evade taxation. I'm just trying to avoid having my accounts closed due to incorrect interpretations of law.

Anyone else receive the dreaded “you were involved in gambling transaction(s)” from Coinbase?

Oh and I have never ever sent funds directly to Coinbase from any gambling site. And I really don’t even send immediately any more once I get a withdrawal. Really strange I got that email.

Although I appreciate the humor and irony of that situation I doubt calling them out on their shady practices is going to help me very much wrt mine.

I’m concerned cuz it seems once they send you that email, if you ever come from a gambling site again they bring down the ban hammer even if thru several wallets.

I mean it’s not rocket science to see where funds are coming from no matter how many wallets you use in between...

i have bitcoin sent that still have 0/3 confirmations from 2 weeks ago because of low fee and bovada wont let me cashout until it confirms. who knows what i can do about this? who knows if it will ever get confirmed. bovada said to wait it out. is there a way to add fee to expedite it or something? priority level of it is probably way down there. btw, i received the deposit on bovada 2 weeks ago with 0 of 3 confirmations.

Dec 18th 9:25 PM PST: BTC withdrawal request submitted
Dec 20th 3:46 PM PST: BTC withdrawal processed and confirmed

hours pass, no BTC in wallet

I speak to security chat on ignition website, they provide the first few + last few digits of address i sent them (these digits match what i have on file)

I check the blockchain for transactions and it doesnt exist

support instructs me to send Ignition an email with screenshots of wallet, address provided, etc

been 10 hours or so and waiting on a response

anyone else ever have this issue?

Is there a reason you guys don't just use a personal hardwired wallet and send directly from your wallet to pokersite?

"BitPay recommends using a bitcoin wallet that you can trust to successfully use for bitcoin payments. Below is a list of reliable bitcoin wallets:
BitPay Wallet
Copay Wallet

Hmm, I use the Bitpay card and haven't received this email. Are you guys all getting it? I don't know what Payment Protocol is, but I am a Blockchain user as well.

BTC hit 10k earlier and it's already back at 15k right now. You would've needed to cash out 3 days ago and hope that your btc got sent in that 12 hour window where btc was low in order to make a profit on the recovery. I'd cancel that withdrawal tbh

Since bitpay is going to be implementing bitcoin cash support, does anyone know when we'll be able to withdraw in bitcoin cash? Bitcoin is a mess right now with it's ******edly high fees.

First I've heard of bitpay accepting bitcoin cash topups. That's great... yeah, Ignition needs to implement some other cryptos for WDs, with btc being so crazy.

Anyone who's using gdax to send your WDs to and cash out to your bank account, do you have any pointers? I just got my coinbase/gdax accounts id-verified, but haven't used either of them before (used only circle and bitpay in the past).

"We will begin adding support for a Bitcoin Cash payment option this year, starting with BitPay Card loads."

With your second email from ignition, they should give you a time frame. My email said that it may take an average of 15 minutes before I receive my payment. It took just over 12 hours.

Unrelated to you -
Here's what I received from Bitpay when they told me that no longer will they accept loads less than 100 dollars:

"Hi there,
The Bitcoin network has been seeing record transaction volume in the last few weeks. This growth has also led to record network congestion and record-high bitcoin miner fees.
Bitcoin miner fees – the cost you pay to send bitcoin transactions – are now more than $30 per payment on average. These fee levels and BitPay's rising network cost expense now make many small card loads impractical"

Bitcoin has become pretty worthless. I've never done a bank wire withdrawal but I have that as an option, so I'll give it a try. At least until Ignition lets us use a more workable alt coin.

Yes but it is not even in my wallet yet, not pending nothing at all.

It’s been 24 hrs I guess at least see it in the wallet and wait for the confirmations but I don’t see it on my wallet

Thanks

Electrum. No, u dont need two wallets in the middle, unless u want to pay an extra miners fee.

You can also avoid bitpays exorbitant admin fee altogether, while giving urself more options, by using coinbase's shift card and/or gdax exchange.

I'm just getting setup with all that right now and it gonna be way better than having to rely on only my bitpay card. The shift card works on the same time frame as the bitpay card, its just as fast to get cash in hand. It requires a little more creativity to pull out large amounts fast, but on the flip side, u don't have to pay an admin fee like u do to bitpay.
